Bridge

While using Bridge CC 2019 (9.0.3) on a Windows 10 system, some image files have "Date Created" and "Date File Modified" randomly changed, creating chaos in my workflow.  Have reverted to Bridge CC 2018.  Any idea what's going on?

I wasted a day processing images using focus stacking using Bridge and Photoshop and found out later they were all too low res to be useful. 24 MP images in Bridge became 3 MP in Photoshop with no warning or option to select resolution. I cannot find a setting to fix this and it has never happend before. Best WishesMarkmark.brundrett@uwa.edu.au

Dear Community,since today I have the problem that Bridge crashes shortly after I use it. I have reset to default settings, cleared the cache and turned off all startup scripts. I have also reinstalled the graphics card driver and restarted the computer several times.Photoshop as well as Lightroom seem to run without any problems. Does anyone have any ideas what else I can do? Thank you! 

We utilize North America Prepress 2 as our default color settings across our organization of Windows PCs.  Is there a way for me to deploy a file or registry setting so that this becomes the preset color settings when a new user signs into the suite?  I have been unable to find either a modified file nor registry entry when I update the color settings from Bridge.  Thanks in advance!

Bridge now takes forever "Building Criteria" even when opening small directories. Anyone know what is going on?

When I select a photo in Bridge, normaly this photo opens in PS by dubble-click. Since de last update, the foto opens in Windows Viewer, and not in PS. In the preferences I can't find a link to change this. What can I do ?

Hi all - any ideas? I've just moved off my old Macbook to a Macbook air M2. While the Photo Downloader opens I am unable to select any of the buttons or check boxes. The drop downs work but nothing else does so i can't import, cancel, select a folder or get images. Does anyone have any ideas?

Bridge crashes every time I try to open it.  I do remember this happened once before but can't remember the solve and can't seem to find it here now.  Please help.  I can't do any work till I can open Bridge. 

I have just cleared out all of my Adobe products and installed them fresh. Bridge refuses to label half of my images. I have cleared my cache adn done absolutely everything described on this page https://helpx.adobe.com/in/bridge/kb/troubleshoot-errors-freezes-bridge.html I still can not label or rate half of my images. What's more, if it does label one I may not be able to remove that label once applied. This makes my photo workflow take twice as long and it's honestly almost not worth it. Has anyone had any success correcting this issue. I have the latest versions of all apps.

Using the latest 12.0.3.270 version of Bridge on Windows 10. When browsing a folder of 16-bit TIFFs Bridge was crashing and closing after a few seconds. I then noticed that one of the six images had text layers. Seeing that Photoshop now usues the new "Unified Type Engine" I opened and removed the text layers from that one image, saved it,  and Bridge doesn't crash. I then re-created the same image with the same text layers using Photoshop CS6, which uses the legacy Type Engine, and Bridge 2022 does not crash when that image with the text layers is browsed. I'm going to see if I can recreate it and what settings might be contributing to the problem. For example I have High Quality previews enabled and perhaps using Standard will help. I have no time to play with this now and have found a workaround. But when I have time to play I'll see if it's repeatable and if I can find any setting change that prevents the crash. Russell    

Is there a way to NOT apple profile corrections when importing images into Bridge? Having them turned on for high ISO images creates unwanted rings and I would rather not have to always select all images after import and turn off the corrections every time. Thank you!

Dear all,I am quite new to the Adobe ecosystem, at the moment I have a question that I have not found an answer:I export my RAW images to jpg with a workflow I have created. I include all the metadata. When I look at the jpgs i.e. in apple photo, the date of the image is the date of the export. I would love to display and sort the jpgs according to their picture date. Is there any way?Thanks a lot for your helpPhil 

It was working fine, but now it doesn't get to the first screen before it crashes.  Don't know what has changed!  Any thoughts?

Hallo,Bridge ist mit dem erneuten Update nun endgültig unbrauchbar. Die Skalierung auf einem 31 Zoll 4k  Monitor ist katastrophal. (Die Windows Skalierung steht auf 150%, ist empfohlen und passt super)200% bzw Auto - unfassbar riesige Buttons und kaum Platz für das Bild.  Hier 100% - unlesbar kleine Schrift. Das kann doch nur ein schlechter Witz sein. 2020 war schon unbrauchbar und das wurde nicht gefixt in Bridge 2021? 4k Monitore sind doch gerade im Foto/Video Bereich weit verbreitet...

l'm switching from PC to IMac and have CC installed on both computers. I'm not sure how best to move photos from my old computer to to the IMac. All I do know (I think) is that I can do it via an eternal hard drive or computer to computer. Can you fill me in on the proper procedure for both methods?Thanks,Cantconform2 

For the last two days I have been experiencing image previews (CR2, JPG, TIF) that are flickering during my editing process. The images are trying to load but they flicker on and off and occaisionally will look "glitchy" or corrupt, but soon load after a few minutes of visul aerobatics. This is an important folder of files that I have been working on for two days and can't lose.I'm on a iMac system running Mac OS 10.14.6 and my version of Bridge is 10.0.3Thank you.

bridge wont open in windows 10.

My Bridge shows this message instead of the images. How can I fix it?

I've been using Photoshop since PS3, but today Bridge crashes anytime I select an image. I hard booted my WIN 10 computer, reinstalled Bridge, purged the cache, and reset preferences. Bridge still crashes as soon as I select my first image - and I've tried using different images on different drives. Bridge, and thus the Creative Suite, is now unusable for me. All my other apps work.

I'm trying to create a workflow to resize images for social media.  I've set it to 1600px at longest length and 300px/in, and 7 as image quality, but it's still only bringing file size down to 1.5mb.  I've resized images in Photoshop to 1600px longest length, 300 px/in and 77% quality and it brings the file size down to the early - mid hundreds of kb.  Is there any way I can bring filesize down to around 4/500kb whilst maintaining decent quality in a workflow in Bridge?Thanks for your help, Cat

I have brought all photos files in the bridge. instad opening one file at atime how can i sellect all files and open photes in the bridge?

It's pretty clear by now that Adobe isn't enlisting feedback from professionals who use Bridge when they make "improvements." For those who edit thousands of images a day, Lightroom is clunky. Thus, I use Bridge. I'd love to test out Bridge for future releases so the mistakes of Bridge 2019 aren't repeated. How do I get on the list to help Adobe?
