Bridge

 Is it possible to add labels & star ratings to a number of assets inside adobe bridge, and then access those labels and star ratings on a different computer? Or do you always need access to the hard drive where the files came from since Bridge is not cloud-based? 

When i receive emails (Outlook 2016) i drag and drop e-mails into folders on Adobe Bridge 2020.  I used to be able to click on emails that i have saved in bridge and they would open.  Within the last few weeks emails will not open i get this notification. The command line arguments is not valid. Verify the switch you are using.  Any clues on a fix?  It is really time consuming to have to switch back to email and find, or switch back to explore to open. 

Bridge stopped displaying thumbnails for .mp4_H.264 and .mov But ~ Will display .mp4_H.265Worked great up to a about a week ago. I have cleared cache - Updated Computer - etc- Read all the fourms and tried most of the fixes - Still not working - What am I missing?Please Help. Bridge Version 12.0.0.234 on a Mac 10.15.7

HalloMeine Verzweiflung ist gross, denn unser IT Support weiss seit einer Woche auch nicht weiter. Daher hoffe ich auf dringende Hilfe hier. Meine Adobe Programme kommunizieren seit dem Imac Update von Catalina, auf Bis Sur auf Monterey (innert 24h) mit der Raid Festplatte(IB-RD3620SU3) launisch.Heisst 5 Minuten ja, dann nicht mehr = MAC neustart, dann 15 minuten alles ok, = neustart. Dann gar nicht, = neustart, dann wieder für zwei Minuten alles i.O. Es gibt kein erkennbares Muster.  Fehler in Bridge, InDesign, Illustrator etc.Ordner in Bridge werden nur kurz angezeigt dann folgt *keine Elemente*, Dateien lassen sich nicht speichern Meldung *Dokument ist beschädigt*,oder auch Dokument ist zur Zeit von einer anderen Anwendung geöffnet, was nicht stimmt. Auch da ..alles was auf dem MAC ist wird immer stabil angezeigt, problemlos gespeichert und kann ohne zicken bearbeiet werden. Alle Adobe Programme laufen einwandfrei wenn ich nur auf dem Imac arbeite,

can you change which workspaces are shown? I don't use some of the workspaces but find the ones in pull down menu usefull, would love to have access as buttons

I choose one or more photographs, I add the text "bw" in the keyword field, click on some other photo, and the new text is not saved.  I added text a few minutes ago with the same method, and now it doesn't work. Can anyone tell me what I am missing? Thanks, Phil

Is there a way to edit documents in Bridge? I use bridge with Indesign. Currently I replace the documents in Bridge when they are needed to be updated. I do all the creating in Indesign. Is there a better way to do it?

 Hi I don't know what I have done, but my keyword list has disappeared from the Keywords Panel and now only the assigned Keywords are showing. This is not practical when adding keywords.I can still see the keywords in the Filter, so they still exist.

This problem is a ghost. You can google it down to CS6.Was working all fine until i updated today. Three different computers and all with the same result. Dell XPS 15, 16gig. SSD. Geforce GTX960 Win10Desktop I7 4770 32gig, SSD Geforce GTX1060 Win10HP Zbook G1 I7 4770 Quadro K2100M Win10 All with latest drivers and Win updates.I'm getting the following error on app startup This is german and means "operation could not be completed".PS gives me this one:This message means "PS cannot acces the file. The file is locked. blahblah."  Whatever The file is, it is not locked.I reset permissions.I removed everything with CC Cleaner Tool and re-installed CCI removed all Adobe entries from the AppData and program folders manuallyI reset preferences with ctrl+alt+shiftI unchecked GPU accelerationI cleaned my registry from all Adobe entries with Wise registry cleaner and CCleanerI manually removed the rest of all Adobe entriesI checked the Bridge log. When I try to open a webp file through Bridge I get a Windows error that it cannot find "Adobe Photoshop CC 2019" and Bridge won't lauch the webp file in Photoshop 2022. I can open a wepb file directly from Photoshop 2022 and I can double click the file in Windows File Explorer which will open the file in Photoshop 2022. I can't get Bridge to open it. How can I fix this?

Since I updated to 12.0.2 this morning Bridge will keep on growing it's memory usage non-stop until all my free memory is gone after a couple hours, and also eventually start consuming all available CPU and become unresponsive. Adobe bridge -mots clébonjour depuis la derniere mise à jour 12.0.2.252 la gestion des mot clés est devenue très compliquée, exemple un mot clé best ofpar exemple, étant déjà dans un sous mot clé divers existant, il recrée un nouveau mot clébest ofdans un nouveau mot clé evenements 1 en italique puisque evenement existe déjà il a ajouté de 1 et quand on supprime le mot clé et le sous mot clé .... celui ci revient avec un mot clé evenement 2par avance merci de votre réponse  

I found sometime the filter panel can detect camera model so I can select model for filtering, but sometime (meaning in another folder with photos from the same camera) the filter panel does not show camera model selection criteria. it is very strange.

Ctrl+F opens the search window. But the search is frosen to the folder My pictures and the search criteria to Filname and contains. I can specify freely the filename and the search is then perfect. But it is impossible to specify a different folder or another criterium, for instance dates or tags. Or a search specification different from contains.This is new, it has always worked perfectly before. And a clean reinstallation does not help.What can I do?

I have a iMac 2017 edition, 8 core processor, 32 gb of ram and 1 terra-byte of hard disk space and yet it struggles to run adobe bridge - I have 200+ gb of available space! It's unbelievably slow for a 5k computer, but only slow when using Adobe products, does anyone have any recommendations? At one point it used 900% of my cpu according to activity monitor and regular uses 100% to 200% of cpu. Is anyone experiencing this? It crashes randomly and sucks up a large amount of processing power? I am currently using Catalina, and Adobe Photoshop 2020 and Adobe Bridge 2020.     UPDATE: Just uninstalled everything adobe related (removed all adobe files from my hidden library folder, application support, preferences etc ) and no change just fired up bridge and it hit 600% cpu usage when trying to load a folder of tif files. Installed nviewmp and work great! But i want to use bridge for batching and not interested in using gimp or anthing else,

HelloWhen closing Bridge a message box appeared regarding clearing catche. I ignored the message and imagined that I could do this when using later in the day however, Bridge will not now open despite trying many times. Currently the icon is bouncing in the toolbar. I have had no issues previously. I am working on OS 10.15.7. Any advice would be welcome as I am working on an urgent project with a short time scale and cannot open the required Canon RAW files. We purchased a large batch of design assets and began to rename them.  After much thought we decided we would like to keep the original file names based on the fact that we can search the provider (shutterstock) which would make them easier to find in our DB.  I need help removing the text we've added and reverting to the original file names.  Examples below.Current name:baby_feet shutterstock_9193737.jpgstars shutterstock_1018373.epswe simply want to drop everything prior to the "shutterstock" and keep everything the same after.  We would like the follows to look as shown below.shutterstock_9193737.jpgshutterstock_1018373.epsthanks in advance for any advice on how to fix this blunder

When I am in Bridge ver 12.0.1.246 and try to import my Nikon NEF files to an external western Digital 5TB drive with the Photo Downloader feature I get this error message:"Cannot create the specified file. The file name is invalid or you do not have the permission to save to the specified directory."  I tried saving the files to a folder on my desktop and had no problem. How do I get these files to download onto my external drive?

Updated Bridge yesterday to v 12.0.2.252 and, now, files cannot open in Illustrator from Bridge. All files default to open in Photoshop! Illustrator is not even an option when right clicking on the file to select "Open with." This has happened at least once previously with an update to Bridge about a year or so ago.
