Bridge

So if i select a parent folder, then 'show items in subfolders' it works, but if i click the parent folder again, it auto resets to 'show items in subfolders' off? Why cant i have that setting on permanently? Any help is much appreciated.

Bonjour, depuis quelque temps, les menus déroulants des pops up de Bridge sont bloqués sur mon ordinateur, ainsi que sur un ordi portable indépendant. Si j'ouvre par exemple dans Editions, "préférences", je ne peux modifier les détails des vignettes, ou dans "changement de nom global" aucun choix n'est possible... J'ai désinstallé et réinstallé Bridge (dernière version mise à jour) , supprimé les préférences enregistrées, vérifié les virus et registres, rien n'y fait !Merci si vous avez une idée pour résoudre ce problème.

I have a problem with bridge not showing some of the .mov imported from my iphone x, In the same folder, it shows some thumbnails for some files and for the other it show only the icons without also preview option.I tried all solution offerd in forums but it didn't help: like the purge cache, preferences: check software render, prferences: playback - uncheck the video for loop and auto view. 

I cannot remove this lock icon from these folders. I am using Windows 10 PC. Thi smakes it difficult for me to label my images. Please help.

I have an old Mac (OS 10.11.6), current versions require a minimum OS of 10.15.X.  Is there a legacy version that can be loaded onto this older comp

This may seem silly, but the most recent update seems to have gotten rid of a very simple thing. When selecting multiple files in Bridge, it no longer tells you in the lower left, below the thumbnail pane, how many files you have selected. It still says how many files are in the folder, but used to say, for example, "16 selected of 60 items" or something like that.Any ideas on how to see this again?My second thought was starting to drag them, as in Finder on the Mac, but no number when you do that either.Thanks!Brooks.

I'm using a fully updated Windows 11 Lenovo laptop and Creative Suite. I've also set up my own custom Workspace in Bridge 2022, as I usually do, and have saved it as "Scott Workspace." It's nothing fancy and it looks like this:  When I minimize Bridge, however, the workspace is reset at random. The latest version looks like this:  It doesn't always look like this. Sometimes it fully shrinks both left and right sides. Sometimes it is just the right side. But always, the center Preview panel is massively enlarged. When I click "Scott Workspace" at the top to reset it, nothing happens. If I close Bridge and then reopen it, the wonky version remains. If I delete the custom workspace and then recreate it, the same problem returns the next time I minimize. Anyone know what's going on? I've never seen this bug before. Is this common, or somehow just my system?  Thanks!

Hi, I have a user reporting an issue with Adobe Bridge's latest updates. They use color tagging on Finder, and have been reliably able to carry the color tags over on local fileserver connections on older versions of Bridge, but now can't. She downgraded after noticing the problem only for the problem to continue regardless.

Hello, I need to have a shared over network Bridge cache often 'fresh' and updated.What is the path I should follow?Just export the cache for the folders once in a while, maybe regularly?Or purge the cache first, then re-export it completely, regularly as well?Thanks!

Occationally my keywords seem to just disappear.I'm sure it's a cache issue. So I created a new folder on a larger drive, but I need to tell Bridge to scan all the videos there for the metadata that holds the keywords. If I type in "car" in the search panel (looking for everything with "car" keyword) it says "no item in folder", even though I have a thousand images with "car" keyword that were searchable yesterday.Alternatively, I can go into a folder, highlight the videos, and then the keywords register, and if I type "car" again, it will recognize where it is and show me.However, I have like 20k videos. Is there a button that I can click that scans a folder (and sub-folder) to recognize the keywords of all the videos/images? It will take forever to open each folder, highlight the contents, then move to the next folder. Thanks in advance.Van

Hi Just wondering if anyone knows how to add winrar options in the context menu within bridge? Like in explorer when right clicking a folder or file there is an option in the context menu to "add to archive" or compress folder and so on. Can these options be added to the context menu in Bridge as well? Thanks! 

problème de prévisualisation - Depuis que j'ai installé la dernière version de Bridge, j'ai un problème de prévisualisation. J'ai désinstallé l'application et réinstallé à nouveau, mais le problème persiste. Dès que j'utilise la barre d'espacement pour prévisualiser mon fichier, le curseur se déplace dans l'espace de recherche au lieu d'afficher le fichier.  Est-ce que vous avez une solution pour moi ? 

After the latest Bridge update (12.0.0.234), when I import my files, Adobe Photo Downloader (the utility that comes wit Br) "spawns" other folders with duplicate content. In the example attached there was only one photo in memory (XQD) just formatted. I would appreciate any guidance to avoid this problem. (iMac 27" 2020, OS X 11.6)

Hi all, I am using the RAW converter via Adobe Bridge and have a problem to get the Profiles for the cameras Sony A7iii, Lumix DC-S5 and Leica SL2-S shown as an option. Please be aware that I set up the cameras as a Pre-Set as a Raw Standards in Adobe Bridge but the system doees no show the camera profile as an option. I am wondering that the camera profiles for the M10 and M11 will be shown as an option in Adobe Bridge. Can some advise how to overcome this hurdle? Many thanks in advance.

Bridge 2022 • V. 12.0.1.246  • MacBookPro M1 • OSX BigSur 11.6.4 When deleting a single file to trash, it moves ALL folder to trash,then show a window with starting parent folder.Happens for evey file, every folder.Uninstall + new installation + flush preferences + restart = same issue. Any idea ?

I updated Bridge this afternoon to version 2022. Afterwards, every time that I attempted to delete an image from a clients folder, it deleted the entire folder of photos. It keeps moving the entire folder to the trash. Once I unistalled the latest version and went back to Bridge 2021, I didn't have the same issue. I can delete one image at a time and not have the entire folder and contents moved to the trash. Can someone please check the latest version and update the bugs? Thank you!Amy Bezek Photography

Hello all -- I have read prior questions on this topic and tried the suggested fixes including reinstalling Bridge but to no avail. RAW images appear in color in the Downloader frame, and are initially in color in the folder when that window pops up but then one by one the color RAW images turn to black and white.  When opened in ACR or PS the images remain black and white.Any new thoughts on this problem?  Thought perhaps that it might be a glitch in ACR given that the D-Lux 7 is so recently introduced but would obviously like to remedy the problem as quickly as I can.Thanks,Gary

It's several years and Photo Downloader continues to function very unreliably.1. On my other computer using OS Big Sur, it doesn't hold the Advanced Settings at all2. On my MacBook Air running OS Mojave, it retains the advanced settings BUT... 3. On both computers and OSs, it quits out midstream of downloading. This can be for large quantities, such as 70 or more, and also for small, such as only 8 photos. I am traveling and losing tons of time doing my daily download of photos. Does someone have the reason and more importantly the fix for this?If someone from Adobe could weigh in and explain why an app so reliable over 5 years ago has become riddled with problems and let us know now to fix (and if impossible, then how soon will it be -- last time I checked over 2 years ago, they indicated it was being worked on and would be soon... what happened?)?Thank you.Shelley

I have the latest version of Bridge installed.I want to export some images to PNG, but I have only an option to choose JPG.Very frustrating, dont know what to do...

I have lost the whole ability to Label (colour label the file with red: cmd-6 for example) or add a rating (Add a number of stars to a file eg with the number cmd-5 for a '5-star' image). When I press these keys it doesn't change in my thumbnail (content frame) or change in my filter frame.  I've never had this problem before and my Bridge is up to date Anyone any solutions for this please? Thanks Dave

What the hell is going on with Bridge!? I'm trying to work and it crashes on average 10-20 times PER DUCKING DAY my bros. WHY.

How to export photo to email without using the cloud  

Have been with three techs and the issue seems to have gotten worse.   Initial problem was with Bridge adding 3 key words to all my images from a 3-4 year photoshoot.   After working with remote support, the last tech says that Creative Cloud is not working properly.  It shows my account and that my applications are up to date, BUT, PS CC, Bridge all show install on them.    Any image I open (RAW - NEF, DNG, JPEG) immediately  open to PS even though Camera Raw is checked in preferences.  DNG files that go to PS  result in a window that says the format is not supported.   I have a Nikon Z9 and know that HE is not supported but I was working with images from PhotoMechanic into Bridge.   Now nothing works. Tech reinstalled Creative Cloud, PS and Bridge.    I called Apple and we tried to use Time Machine - but that did not work as the applications are being pulled from Adobe CC from latest version so it appears I can't go bac
