Bridge

We plan using the Bridge Export panel with various presets for thousands of images. The tool seems to be largely broken, though. I created a preset, chose one of the available output options and set a valid path. Then I dropped a couple of files onto the preset and pressed the "Run" button.The tool fails exporting with all supported  file formats, but jpg (we need png). The error message says that the chose bitmap format is unsupported, which is silly, as one can't input file formats apart from the one offered in the dropdown menu. I have already reset preferences (which I hate doing, as it is terribly lossy). Indeed, I could make the Export panel once, but soon stopped working again.Could this error be related to moving the cache location? I have moved the cache to a synced location to use it with two machines (the cache on both machines is local and lives on fast SSDs). What speaks against this theory is that the Exporter still works for jpg.Is this bug known and is there a

After spending hours of choosing best pictures out of the all the originals, and after beeing reconnected my external hard drive I realised that  my Bridge doesnt recognise any rating marks that i previously put on my files. Please HELP!!! Its so Urgent! thanks in advance for any kind of help

Ratings given in bridge are not visible in lightroom import process. Bridge is easy to preview and select, it would be convenient if the selected pictures can be imported to lightroom. How can it be done?

I have never been able to get Bridge to preview video worth a darn.  It either doesn't play at all or, at best, it stutters during playback, often locking up in the process.  This problem persists for anything other than low-bitrate HD footage.  Format doesn't make a difference. I know the problem is not my machine because I can easily preview videos with no stuttering in Davinci Resolve. How do I make Bridge preview my video files as easily as Resolve? Thanks, rgames

Hi,   is there a way to enable smooth scrolling in Adobe Bridge 2020? Like a casual smooth scrolling like in every normal application, browser or program? My devices (touchpad, mouse, Wacom pen) work great in any other application. Bridge allows smooth scrolling when using (click & drag) the sidebar. Is there a way to do the same by simply hover over the content & scroll without grabbing the sidebar? Super annoying & useless.   Thank you!    {Thread renamed by moderator}    

When making TIFF files from a Camera Raw files in Bridge is it possible to not delete the cropped pixels (so that the resulting TIFF file can be re-cropped when opened in Photoshop), or can this only be done by first making the TIFF file and then, when open in Photoshop, unchecking “Delete Cropped Pixels” when cropping? Just installed bridge. Added my folder called 'libraries' to favorites.This folder has several sub folders, and pictuures. I do not see the pictures.How do I tell bridge to "scan" this folder?is this supposed to happen automatically? Can I see the scan progress? The beginner guide is stupid. It starts by telling you advanced stuff, but no word about how to get your desktop pictures into bridge

Shooting Video and Sound seperately.Wav files wont preview in bridge.Any attempt to preview audio files from bridge cause Bridge to freeze requiring force quit.Files play fine through Audition.Preview of  Video+Audio (from camera) works fine.... seems odd that Bridge cant handle JUST audio file from audio recorder (TascamDR40)I thought the whole point of Bridge is to help manage/organize multiple files across the adobe family. I have a Canon R5 - all been working flawlessly until this new update. Bridge no longer shows me thumbnails despite refreshing, changing 'view' etc. I then decided to drag one of the files into PS and its saying it doesn't recognise the file type.    Initially I thought maybe my card had corrupted but it won't open any of my previous files now either. Can someone help? I am using Windows 10 on a desktop. I was messing around with default settings and somehow I clicked on something that is now preventing me from opening an Adobe Photoshop file from Bridge. [The "Open With" option under FILE is grayed-out, so I cannot even choose it. My default "Photo Viewer" is "Photos" - and I cannot change it to Adobe PhotoShop!

Hi, my Adobe Bridge (11.1 Windows 10 prof) is not able to show previews of *.crm (Canon Cinema Raw) video files - it trys to generate them - but no result. Is this a bug or is this a missing feature?I hope it is a bug, it seems for me that Adobe is focusing on toy like gadgets since some time, and not anymore on the usability for a fast and ergonomic workflow. Christian

Updated to 11.1, but Bridge in Windows will not open from the Start Menu or from Creative Cloud. It will run when invoked in PS CC, but the thumbnails won't show for some folders. Anyone having similar problems?     {Thread title edited by moderator}

Hi.More times when I selected all files (ctrl+a) Bridge drop one file.Example: folder with 30 files, select all, bridge select 29 files and my batch rename work only 29 files.Anyone have this problem ?thanks

I upgraded to the latest version of Bridge an the quality of the previewsa very poor compared to the previous version.Regardless of the image size and any possible combination of settingsin Bridge, the images are very soft!  Even if the image size is pixel per pixelexact for the display, i.e. say a 1920x1080 image is in the preview windowand at a size is such that maps perfectly to the display resolution and fits thepreview window.This is making trying to decide if an image is suitable for my purpose very difficultas I need to open each image in Photoshop (or some other app) to get a true representationof the image.  This becomes very,very tedious after a batch run of many images, usuallyprepping for web.This was not an issue at all in the previous version as Bridge rendered the previewsas razor sharp as whatever the source was.Is this a bug or have settings been changed that there is some obtuse comboneeded to get acceptable quality?

Hi, I'm trying to go through some 4k footage in adobe bridge but it seems to be very laggy. Is there a way to make it smoother? How do you guys preview your 4k footage before going to premiere? (I'm sure there is no issue with my computer, it's brand new 128gb ram, with a good graphics card and processor). Cheers

When i select multiple images in bridge to do an acrion on using photoshop , it shows"no paranoma or hdr sets found"I have adobe photoshop 2021 and adobe bridge 2020, i dunno if that would help.thanks in advance

The animated gifs don't play in the preview window anymore. All I get is a copy of what I see in the file browser, a static image. It used to play the gif frames in the preview window. There's no play controller in the preview window anymore either. The way Bridge handles animated gifs has changed so much trough the years. From automatic preview of the gif frames just by clicking the image, to preview only with a play function in the small preview window etc. Never know what to expect with Bridge. Now it's back to not being able to see the gif frames at all.Ver. 11.1.0.175W10

Since updating to the latest version of Bridge I notice that any .png or .jpg I Save As in PS will display in Bridge as 72dpi. Previous versions always displayed in 300dpi or whatever resolution I saved as. When I open these files in PS the image size is correct at 300dpi, but Bridge still says the resolution is 72dpi. This is very annoying as I don't know what resolution my files actually are now. Help!

Hi all,Bridge v11.1(macOS catalina, v10.15.7) doesn't export imagesCould anyone tell me the way to resolve this issue?- Bridge is the latest version- Bridge v10 does export them.- tools>photoshop>image processotr is an alternatibe method,  but I don't preffer it. Thanks for any help//

In Bridge, in Filmstrip view, if I have 20 RAW image files and I select 10 files, is there anywhere that shows that 10 image files have been selected (other than having to add up the total in the Filter tab)? The only time I see a total number of images and selected images is in Essentials view at the bottom. Thanks for any help.

XMP not copying for all files - thumbnail generation Boggs down and crashes Bridge. This is happening with duplications and other copying tasks. Ive also noticed gliches in removing items from collection..... and the post button on this page isnt working great either.... come on Adobe, we have work to finish
