Just installed the latest Bridge update (13.0.1.583)Double-clicking on a TIF-format file opens Photoshop 2022 instead of 2023. So I go to Prefs->File Type Associations but all the relevant format types are set to Photoshop 2022.I click the drop-down to select a new version, navigate to Program Files->Adobe->Photoshop 2023->Photoshop.exe which is fine. But now I have to do the same thing with every File Type that I want to change. Why doesn't Photoshop 2023 now appear when I click the drop-down on the a File Type that I want to change. That would be *far* quicker. Or can there be an option to select multiple File Types and do a bulk update?
It would be nice to have a way to show grouped images for HDR and Stacking in Bridge so that you can mark several images that belong together. Currently there is no way to group several photos that make up one HDR image or one stacked image. Since HDR and focus stacking are now becoming essential to create dynamic images, it would be nice if Bridge allows you to see which images make up the HDR or stacked groupings when looking at the film strip. I know that you can gerry rig something using color codes but then this does not work if you have a several HDR or Stacks back to back on the film strip. Taking this feature a bit further, once you group the images, you could then just click on the group to open in photoshop, without have to select all of the images again first. Currently you have to select the images in bridge you want to open in photoshop and then you can merge them to HDR once in photoshop. This feature would reduce the need to reselect images every time you want mer
In Bridge moving stacks from one folder to another is broken. You can expand the stack and move it or right click and move it. There is a bug in the new version.
Sorely missing ability to be able to browse, create, and share online assets from Adobe Creative cloud for client review. It's available on the Creative Cloud App, but confusingly not in Bridge. Would be great to be able to create a folder of assets for creative review and be able to access those same files on bridge with the note annotations and be able to make changes and create versions all from the same folder/cloud access point through bridge.
I really need a setting in Bridge for the UI to condense Image sequences into a single stack or displayed as a single item. I work in a studio that has hundreds of TBs of server side source, almost all in various Image sequence formats (EXR, DPX, PNG, TIF, etc.) Bridge is the best way to search for source like stock footage, but I really need this feature to make it even better. this would make the search function extremely usable because it would return results that are image sequences rather than an entire list of thousands upon thousands of individual image files.
I would love to see search by facial recognition. I frequently have to scan through folder after folder to find a photo of some person. If Bridge could match by face, it would be a great boon. Thanks for considering this.
In previous versions of Bridge we could arrange the Thumbnails to suit a preferred running order of images. This was an excellent way of editing images. We can still do that in the Folders view, but not in a Collection. I'd like to get this back please.
For many years whenever I upgrade Bridge my manual sorts do not transfer to the new version of Bridge. I realize this may be due to some error that occurred quite a few years ago. However, the problem continues. The manual sort information is stored in text files. It is still present in the files corresponding to older versions of Bridge. I have found a workaround that a regular Bridge user like myself should not have to use. I can copy and edit the text files and everything works perfectly. There seems like there should be a better way for a user to migrate his manual sorts to the new version of Bridge. I can share more details about the method I have been using for years. Clearly, I will have to use my tried and true method to migrate my manuals sorts to Bridge 2023.
When I process files and make a new folder, older version would automatically give me an expansion triangle/arrow to expose the subfolders in that main folder. 2023 is not doing that. I have to view all images in that folder and scroll until I find the folder, then open it. THEN it will show up. October HAS a new JPG folder in it, no triangle/arrow.
PLEASE!!! add the possibility to always show rating and label of a file in fullscreen preview. Now it is only shows up if I change the rating or the label. But it would be extremely useful to see these always when I press the space bar to view the file in fullscreen preview.
Bridge 2023 has problems, it will not minimize and does not have a proper title bar. Once opened the programme cannot be moved to see other items.
When renaming folders in a certain way, like the one below. The system thinks is something else and changes the icon to it, making it unusable. Unless I change the name back
Bridge 2023. The PDF preview is great. I love that I can page through a pdf in preview without leaving Bridge. The only problem is the previews of the pdfs are pretty small. Is it possible to simply make them larger so they are easier to read? Using the magnifier is not practical if you are trying to read a page.
Adobe Bridge 2023. As a new feature when View Subfolders or a Smart Collection is selected a large dialog box now appears at the top of the Content Panel, and there does not appear to be an option to not show it. Of course this pushes the rest of the content down cutting off the metadata on the bottom row in the Content Panel. I know the workarounds - collapse the toolbar or select grid view or resize the thumbnails, but each has drawbacks and needs to be reverted when returning to the Standard view. And why should I have to anyway? This is simply a really really bad idea. It was fine before when it just appeared in the breadcrumb menu. Trust me - this is not an improvement. It just interrupts the workflow and is a major inconvenience. I don't need to be told what I just did in a banner an inch high. The Cardinal Rule - Don't Fix it if it ain't broke.
I can't develop folders in the folder panel since 2023, even though it worked on Bridge CC 2022. I hope it wasn't intentional to remove this feature
I am no longer able to copy and paste my camera raw settings from one photo to a next - it keeps coming up with camera raw editing is not enabled. I have purchased Adobe creative cloud and I have updated camera raw
License valid for full CC subscription. If thats a general, issue please fix.
The new version of bridge I can't copy a file from one place to another. it gives me an error message:Windows cannot find c:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2022\Photoshop.exe Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. All I did was right click on file, Ctrl C move to another directory Ctrl V it copies the file... then I try to open the file by clicking on it and this window pops up and I can't see the file. If I go out to Windows explorer the file opens. But it will not open in bridge. In the old bridge it opened. Please help!!!
The quick image renderer from Bridge doesn't work because it says I have an old PS version, which is not true.
The Metadata panel has a feature enabling Expand All. Please make this persistent so when you move to a new workspace and then back to the one with this panel it retains the last state. In other words I don't want to have to click on Expand All every time I return to a workspace with the Metadata panel.
The zoom and move tools disappears on R12 from the release.. Over the years, I found them very useful while doing fine tuning of images.. Please them back...
Using camera raw filesinclude a section for Remove Background (Same or better quality that exists in PS)The file conversions should retain an alpha channel in case of any clean up required on the imagewould be great if the file can be outputted as a photoshop proj
Is it possible to add automate keyword or tag using Neural Engine on Apple device? If this possible, it would be leap movement
I'm using the latest beta of Bridge (13.0.0.561)Using fullscreen mode for previewing photos info about 'zoom' and 'loading' remains hidden by the notch on Macbook PRO 14'.
I like to use a hierarchical folder name system eg 2022\09\16 or 2022\Sep\16 or even 2022\2022-09-16 It would be good for the Photo Downloader module to provide such options.
