Bridge

I set up Bridge with a custom workspace called 'My Workspace'. Since the latest update of Bridge it won't open with my custom workspace every time. It often opens with the default workspace which forces me to reset the workspace. How do I get My Workspace to show up every time I open Bridge?

I recently updated to Bridge 2019. It worked for about a day. Then it started crashing on launch every time. I went back to Bridge 2018, which also now crashes on launch. I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling, restarting, clearing preferences, clearing cache. Does anyone have any additional suggestions?

Hello everyoneWhen I'm on the central "content" window with my thumbnails, just clicking a thumbnail immediately launches Photoshop.Can not click on the thumbnail to see its meta or preview.In fact I can do it but by clicking and leaving the mouse button pressed, I wait one or two seconds and I release.There Photoshop does not launch and the behavior is "normal".I am working on MacBook Pro 2015 with Sierra 10.12.6I am on the 2019 version of Bridge, I did not specify.I specify that this behavior was identical with the previous version of Bridge.Do you have an idea to solve this problem?Thank you

Hello Gents,I have very annoying bug with the new 2019 bridge.When open the browser freezes. Chrome, firefox, edge. Does not matter.When I close bridge the browser immediately works again.Anybody a fix or please somebody from Adobe put it in a bug report. It sucks.Regards.

I am trying to build a cache that can be exported and shared among some Bridge users.The files are all in a network share that is not local to me, but is local to the other users.I get the folder added into 'Favorites,' Bridge sits forever 'Building criteria...', then it sits for hours longer indexing the files.This is with the most current Bridge CC 2019 version.The share contains 400+ GB, 80k+ files...is there any way it can be 'hurried up' so the cache is created within one day??What are the best cache settings for such a large group of files??

I'd like a feature to show a border around the content. Currently the closest thing is to set a background color, but it's a waste of ink. I currently have to add temporary borders to the content if I want to print with borders.It would also be great if I can automatically crop each content (e.g. add 0.1 inch crop). The content I create typically have bleeds which I don't want to show up in the sheet.

Hi all,Just updated bridge to the latest version (9). It seems to be slower than the previous versions...ie I select images and open them in camera raw (latest version), but they takes 4-5 seconds to load (spinning wheel whilst waiting for images to load into ACR) (same if I only select one image). Previous version was much faster to load images into ACR.Win 7, intel i7, 16GB ram, 60GB SSD+2TB HDD. I've increased photoshop's ram to 80%...no difference. Anyone else noticed a similar issue?.Cheers.

Why to my PDFs made in Adobe Bridge 2019 CC from Adobe InDesign files look so bad? They are all pixelated.Here's what I'm doing:I open Adobe Bridge 2019 CCI select several Indesign files and drag them onto the CanvasI set the resolution to the highest setting and select export to PDFThe PDF that gets created looks terrible, all pixellated.Can anyone help?

Hi fellas,Anybody using Bridge as sort of central DAM in a organization? We are contemplating of using Bridge as a principal DAM for our pictures and press photos. Since we have fair amount of users using the complete CC suite, we might as well deploy Bridge as our DAM entrypoint we reckon.But has anybody done that already? And how would you manage the access rights to the photo libraries or even certain specific assets?We read about the new centralised cache, but how is this built for the complete library? And what if a user has not the rights for a certain asset but still he is using the centralised cache?I have a feeling this is somewhat an new path, hopefully you experienced lot can shed some light on this or get the insights of the Adobe masters even 😉Big thanks!Martin

Just installed the new look Bridge. All is good but I hate the change to the labelling. Instead of a highly visible coloured line under the image, we now have a small and easily missable coloured dot. Does anyone know if its possible to make the dot bigger/more visible? labelling

I liked the way bridge had always worked regarding labels. When you put a color label on the image, the stars bar under the image turned to the label color. It was very easy, at a glance, to see what color labels were associated with the image. Now, in 2019, there's just a colored dot. You can't take a fast glance at the labels because the dot is lower, not directly next to the bottom of the image. Now you really have to look and think about it. Please fix it back to the old way! Great product but htis was NOT an improvement! Please don't "fix" what isn't broken. Thanks!

Since updating to 2019 I find the Bridge application freezes when moving images to another folder, particularly a large number of files.It is the sort of issue that was common in Bridge many years ago but the more recent versions have been very robust and glitch free.I have to force quit Bridge every time after moving files from folder to folder.

Since 2019 update (ver 9.0.1.216) copy / paste shortcuts are not working.Resetting preferences does nothing.Installing and reinstalling does nothing.Everything worked fine in 2018

After last October update I've had problems with Bridge switching randomly back and forth between old and new UI. Very unstable. I have tried to uninstall it but it keeps switching. I never know what version I'm gonna get when I open it. The last day it's been stuck on former version OS: W10. Always updated.

downloaded bridge 2019, have installed, uninstalled twice. the thumbnail in the content window flashes correctly then goes corrupted. It looks like the wrong channel on an old tv. Does not matter the size of the thumbnail or location the file come from, desktop, hard drive or server.Any ideas how to fix?

So I updated to the new Bridge CC 2018. Very happy to see that the Output module is now an inbuilt feature.My problem is that when I 'Export to PDF' my contact sheet is totally blank. It SEEMS like scrolling in the folder window pane has improved in this version. when using a Magic Mouse it Jumps drastically. I am wondering if the developers who worked on this update may made an edit the the sensitivity here. If so this is good news as they'll be able to find where the change was made and make it less sensitive for the Magic Mouse. Here's hoping they can finally fix this huge Bug.! Yaygood luck.

Bridge has recently undated itself along with Adobe Camera Raw to version 11.I have an old camera profile stored as a DCP file that I now wish to use with the new version. I have been through numerous pages on the internet with instructions as how to do this, but none seem to work.I am running on a Windows 10 PC.Any suggestions please.Regards

Hi,I’m running the very latest bridge 2019 version. On some rare folders I cant generate the cache on the folder. It just says that an error occured and that’s it. Where can I find detailed logs about the encountered error ?thanks

Hallo wer kennt das Problemnach Updaten auf CC2019 verliert Bridge die angelegte Farbeinstellung - das eigens neu angelegte Profil liegt im Verzeichnis bereit, lässt sich in Photoshop auch aktivieren und speichern, wird in Bridge ebenfalls angezeigt. Beim Anwählen wird das neu bezeichnete Profil auch übernommen - jetzt sollte das Farbprofil bei alle Programme synchron aktiv laufen - nein tut es aber nicht schließt man Bridge ignoriert dieses ausserdem die festgelegte Einstellung und zeigt beim neu starten wieder die Einstellung "Current Setting" an.Alle Programme die darauf zugreifen zeigen (nach Neustart) an, dass sie mit keinem synchronisierten Farbprofil arbeiten !!!!! Für jemand der professionell und farbverbindlich arbeiten muss ist das eine Katastrophe - wer hat eine Lösung oder hat das gleiche Problem?... und euch Spezialisten von Adobe muss gesagt werden - macht ihr endlich euere kompletten Hausaufgaben statt unkontrolliert Updates aus dem Haus zu schmeißen und das als Fortsch

It happens to me when the dialog box showing the progress bar appears. After the box disappears, Bridge does not regain "focus." I have to Force Quit.Same thing happens when i run scripts, cannot exit script dialogue even with 'cancel' or <esc>.Please fix this, it is ruining my photos workflow.

Je  travaille sur Mac et depuis quand j'ai mis à jour le système  ( MAJOR :((( ) Je n'arrive plus  à synchroniser les couleurs via Bridge . A chaque fois la synchronisation n'est pas prise en compte .... Une vraie catastrophe pour moi. Auriez-vous un conseil à me donner ? Je vous serai éternellement reconnaissante ! In the "What's New" article for your new Oct 2018 version 9 of Adobe Bridge, it states that:"Adobe Bridge now lets you change the capture time of the JPEG and RAW image files, just like the way it is done in Adobe Lightroom."I have a massive collection of photographs I've scanned on a flatbed scanner and saved in the .TIFF format. When I load these into the new version of Bridge and go to use this "Edit Capture Time," it's always grayed out and I can't select it.Question: Are we really only allowed to edit the capture time of JPEG and RAW images, or am I doing something wrong? Thanks for any help!
