Bug Reports

This is still now fixed. Can Adobe please take note. Bridge 2026 (issue still not resolved from Bridge 2025).Mac OSX 15.7 Sequoia Try scrolling a loupe over the large preview of an photo (scrolling the loupe with a trackpad or mouse), it does not want to scroll small amounts... so you need to move the mouse faster, at which point the loupe suddenly jumps into action juddering a long distance forward, then stops. A nightmare. Adobe you have my email pleae respond and say you are lookng into this.  It's been 2 years now, and nothing done. This is super basic stuff, plase sort it out, or just ask AI to sort it for you, whatever is easiest for you, just do it, surely me paying you counts for something? I know of NO other software that cannot scroll small amounts, slowly and smoothly, none, except Bridge.

The issue mentioned in the post below has not yet been fixed... (since bridge 2023) https://community.adobe.com/t5/bridge-bugs/preview-panel-of-bridge-2025-still-looks-jagged/idi-p/15513466 https://community.adobe.com/t5/bridge-discussions/rendering-options-and-jaggies-when-preview-size-is-small/m-p/14081999 https://community.adobe.com/t5/bridge-discussions/heavy-aliasing-in-bridge-23-previews/td-p/13417927

Bridge is trying to render thumbnails from .raw and .RAW Noritsu and Pakon filmscanner files because it's thinking they are Panasonic.raw files. This results in a never ending loop with 600% CPU load with freeze, which even gets my Mac M5 cooking. Please add an option for not rendering certain file types. Besides, i see 100% load on idle with a fresh install with all startup scripts deactivated and CEO extensions removed, sitting in a folder with .dng files. So something is severely wrong here. Sorry for double posting. But the structure here is a bit confusing when coming from google. Breadcrumbs for navigation on smartphones would be a smart approach instead of 5 redirections.

I can enter full screen preview when a still image is selected by pressing the space bar. I can move to a video file using the arrow keys while still in preview. I cannot launch full screen video preview by pressing the space bar.  Bridge 16.0.0 on Windows 11 To repro:- Have a set of still images and videos in a folder.- Select a still image.- Press the space bar.- I see the image in full screen. Nice.- Press the arrow keys to see a video in full screen. Nice.- Press ESC to exit full screen preview.- Select a video.- Press the space bar. Result: Nothing happens.Expected: Space bar enters full screen video preview, just like it does for still images.

Bridge can apply ratings to still images by pressing 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 on the keyboard while in full screen preview. This doesn't work with videos. Bridge 16.0.0 on Windows 11To repro:- Have a set of photos and videos in a folder.- Select a photo and press space bar to launch full screen preview.- Press 1 to apply a 1 star rating.- Press right arrow until you get to a video.- Press 1 to apply a 1 star rating. Result: The video's star rating doesn't change.Expected: 1 star ratiung gets applied to the video just like it is for images.

(in Bridge 16.0.0.63)  OSX 15.6.1   Double click a 2 GIG .psb file and it wont open....

Ik kan geen foto's meer printen vanuit Photoshop-programma. Bij 'Printerinstelling wordt het programma afgesloten van zodra ik 'Afdrukinstellingen' aanklik.Heeft iemand een tip/oplossing ?

This has happened a couple times in the last year or so ( obviously earlier occurances were tied to other updates ) .  Please correct. I do have the settings as below, so I would expect them to transfer over on the update.Supplemental note, I was unable to drag the bridge 2025 keyword xml file into the bridge 2025 folder using file explorer. I had to actually cut/paste the file.  Very odd.

Hi, since upgrading to the latest version of Bridge I've got after every launch an announcemt something like this: Adobe Bridge would like to use other apps' information. I find this inappropriate, and I haven't yet found a way to prevent its coming. Please tell me how I can disbale that stupidity! Regards, Tuomas

Both versions of Bridge display files incorrectly, in my case TIFF files, which contain the new “Temperature and Tint” adjustment layer. To get the colors to display correctly, I have to create a merged pixel layer as the top layer. Bridge: 16.0.0.63 and newest Betamacos26 I tried the usual things like clearing the cache and resetting the bridge. As soon as an adjustment layer with temperature and tint is present, the colors are displayed incorrectly. If I place a merged pixel layer as the top layer, the image is displayed correctly.

New Beta Version of Bridge opens Lightrrom not Photohop Beta - I have checked preferances and it is Photoshop Beta that is set but it still opens lightroom. II get around it by righ clicking photo in Bridge and selection open with camera Raw.

I need Bridge to work on my Microsoft Surface Pro (ARM) Windows 11

I installed photoshop 26, set at Bridge/preferences/applications to invoke it and yet when I open a dng file from bridge - camera-raw of photoshop 25 is invoked; the icon of photoshop 26 at the bottom taskbar remains minimized and another expanded icon of photoshop 25 is added there. I have W11.

I may be at the luxury of using a Mac for a long time, but I have a Windows laptop, and I cannot drag a folder to the Bridge pinned app to open it. Is this a Mac exclusive or an app issue?

I'm on Windows 11 and all Adobe prodcuts are up to date and Windows.  When I open Bridge or Photoshop and try to do any editing and save or rename I get a "permissions needed" error message.  None of the edits or adjustments to the files save.  This only started 2 weeks ago.   The exact message is  "This file cannot be renamed 'fence'  because you do not have permissions or the file is in use."

Hello.   I just updated Bridge to 2026 - running Mac OS 14.7.   Prior to the update, I was able to drag a folder of images from Finder to my Bridge icon in the taskbar and it would open that folder. This no longer works.   This old process was super efficient. Now to open something, I need to double click through MANY folders within Bridge to get to what I need.

Using Bridge (16.0.0.63) and I can no longer send files to (25.6 Build98) Adobe Media Encoder (Tools/Media Encoder/Add to Encoder Queue). Adobe Encoder launches but no files show up in the queue.

This bug too has been around for some time.  Each time Bridge has an update I hope that it's been addressed but alas, not so. Selecting files in a folder (say, I select all the .NEF files but not the .JPG files) and then drag-and-dropping those selected files to another folder (say I want to move .NEF files into their own directory) moves those files PLUS it moves other random files as well. Scenario:  Folder 1 has a mix of NEF and JPG files.  I select only the NEF files, and move them by drag-and-dropping them into a newly created "NEF" folder.  Bridge will move the selected NEF files, but it will also move random JPG files from the origninal folder, even though those files were not selected. This happens every single time.  It is a major pain in the butt.  Adobe, can you please address.  Thank you.

This bug has been around for as long as I can remember.  I just feel like this needs to be addressed.  Deleting images from a given folder in Bridge, and then Undoing the action (Command+Z) restores the deleted files, PLUS, it restores others, previously deleted from other folders, and restores them into your present folder.  It creates a huge mess.  Adobe, please kindly address.

Subdivision in staples is lost after names are changed in batch, as well with stapled foto's (double blue line) as after funfolding out all staples

Before updating to 16.0.0.63, on a Window computer, I could batch rename my paired files (.NEF and .JPG).  Now the program assigns each its own number rather than the same number for the paired files.  I have to batch rename the NEF files and then repeat the process for the JPG .

Links in Illustrator .ai files are not surfaced in Bridge like they are for .indd and .psd files. It seems Illustrator link support is missing or broken. I would like to be able to see in Bridge that an .ai file has links and then be able to use the "Show Linked Files" Bridge context menu item. Illustrator links are stored in the "Manifest Reference File Path" metadata, while InDesign and Photoshop use this key: "Ingredients File Path" Perhaps Bridge could read both keys when Showing Linked FIles.

Bridge (version 16) was working normlly as of this morning. Later, when lauched there were no windows and  most of the items on the menus were greyed out. I tried emptyig the cache, reinstalling the program, etc to no avail. Eveb the "About Bridge" window doesn't appear. Other apps are fine., including Photoshop. This is on a MacBook Pro M5 with Tahoe installed.

just upgraded and now bridge is no longer working with photoshop. both are update. system has been restarted.  who needs a workflow when you are paying hundreds of dollars a year for apps that work inconsistently! unbelieveable how far your products are slipping.
