I've been using Bridge for som years now, but I have stayed away from the rest of the suite from Adobe. And I've had the same old good old bugs you all complain about. But it always worked, even if at times (most times actually) quite buggy. I have 2023, 2024 and 2025 on my system if one of them didnt work for some reason. 2023 was ALWAYS my fallback as it was at least stable regardless. Soooo I just installed Photoshop and Lightroom Classic after years of abscence from the Adobe World. But after installing PS and LR, nothing works. Every single version just crashes and stalls. Result is I have to force quit and open up again. But same thing happens. It crashes. It unusable in any way shape or form.Then I noticed that the install has flipped the "autoupdate" switch in "Creative Cloud"..... I ALWAYS wait and see if theres new bugs introduced. Clearly now, nothing works. LR and PS works flawlessly. Just not any version of Bridge. What up with that? Grumpy Face

Unable to succesfully download/open Bridge V16.Mac suggests file does not have a date attached and will not open the download from Creative Cloud.Previous version 15.1.2.737 crashes when a search is entered.

As title says, the new update completely removed my ability to open any files in bridge rendering it completely useless. Needs fixing ASAP.

Ich habe seit paar Tagen das Problem, dass wenn ich Bilder von der Kamera importiere und in Bridge öffne, sind alle im Querformat. Auch Hochkant Bilder. Ich muss dann alle Hochkant markieren und manuell drehen. Hat wer eine Lösung? Hab über die Voreinstellungen nichts gefunden. Ich hab die Verion v16.0.0.

I installed Bridge 2026 to upgrade Bridge 2025 15.1.2 and it will not launch. I allowed the upgrader to copy settings and remove the old version. I have tried rebooting and running as admin with the same result. After reinstalling Bridge 2025 I can run that but the keywords panel is completely empty! There is no "Bridge 2026" folder in AppData\Roaming\Adobe\. Where are the settings that were copied over? I'm running Windows 10 on an old computer.

Hi!While using it, I noticed that it handles images slowly, sometimes it freezes during use. When exiting, clicking on the red X reacts slowly, it exits the program after 5-10 seconds, in worse cases it freezes. I hoped that these problems would be fixed, but I don't see any significant progress in this area. Please fix the errors. Simple free image management and viewing programs work faster with images. Please study competing programs. 

For the last week i have had issues in bridge. Working on a Macbook and have the latest version of Bridge 16.0.0.63. After downloading files onto my laptop i can see all the image thumbnails, then as i click on them some of them change to LR CR3 instead of the image thumbnail. I can't open them in Camera Raw or Photoshop (image below). I can see and open them in Lightroom. I've tried different SD cards and they both are doing it. I have tried purging the cache and increasing the size of it. Please help.

This error pops up on every Illustrator startup now: Error in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Startup ScriptsCC\Adobe InDesign\indesign-v20.0.jsxLine I:I/0 error Tried reinstalling Creative Cloud and all apps using CC cleaner, no effect. Tried resetting preferences, no effect. Renaming the .jsx file (and then five or six others that it cycles through - or deleting the whole folder) helps but it's not recreated and removing it breaks Bridge automations. Uninstalling Bridge helps, which is why I wondered if Bridge is somehow locking the files such that Illustrator can't read them?

My bridge is frozen or crashed, I've restarted and nothing is helping and it's just saying not responding

I'm runnning into several problems with this.1) Bridge creates duplicate copies of files already imported.2) The interface does not display the iphone photo folders in name (date) sequence.  This makes it hard to find and select folders that have yet to be inported, adding to the duplicate problem.3) The import function seems to omit panoramas.4) Photos taken with the Project Indigo app are not identified as coming from PI. Bridge 15.1.2.737Iphone 15 Pro Max  IOS 26.0.1Windows 11 25H2  

SInce last update - I am on CR 17.5.12319 now - the inner circle (feathering amount) has not been visible. I can still adjust the feathering on the slider, but the graphical interpretation has gone.It's on two Windows 11 machines - a laptop and a very well spec. desktop, so I don't think it's a hardware issue.I don't know if this is on purpose, or perhaps somebody has made the same observation.Jan, DK

This was previously posted with no respose from Adobe. Blue thumbnails on video files persist. Latest verrion of Bridge on a new M4 Studio with latest system. 

Every time I open Bridge, I have to check the Camera Raw settings and the settings of the entire program. It turns out that Brigde stopped saving my settings. What's worse, I could always display individual photos in the catalog in the menu on the left. Now only the catalogs are visible, and the photos appear at the bottom. I don't know how to change it, as it was before.I use MacOs Tahoe.

Why is it that Adobe bridge 2025 has issues tagging keywords with CR2 Cannon files, I have a MacBook, latest operating system,camera raw and Photoshop etc. Older versions of Adobe Bridge had no problem tagging the images with keywords. But with the new version I keep getting "cannot apply metadata" one Adobe technician told me to just change over my files to a different format, which is easy to say but difficulty do if you have tens of thousands of images.

Hi,I'm using Adobe Bridge Ver. 15.1.2.737 running on a desktop PC running Windows 11 Home Ver. 24H2, and I wish to use the Photo Downloader option to download .HIF files saved to a SD card from a Sony a6700.  I have installed the relevant HEIF and HEVC extensions and Bridge viewer happily displays the .HIF files by browsing to the relevant photos directory on the SD card and also once they have been saved to a directory using windows file explorer.Any thoughts on how to get this to work, or possibly this will require an update to the "Photo Downloader" part of the program to recognise .HIF files as photos?Thanks, Pete

Suddenly, Bridge is displaying jpg files in preview mode with a coarse grain, while dng and psd files remain fine.Does anyone have any idea what is going on? It is still working correctly on my wife's PC, but I cannot find any difference in the settings...

Today I open Bridge and it turns out that I don't have folders in the folder panel. I always had a tree of folders and subfolders, I also saw a preview of my photos there. Now it's gone. A lot of information has been hidden, it takes a lot of patience to find it. What happened? Did changing the system to Tahoe work that way, or the Adobe team can't keep up with Adobe's repair. I will also add that the Bridge application takes a long time to open. I also often receive a message that it has been closed.

As title states couldn't find a clear fix anywhere. Have tried purging cache fresh install etc.Sequoia 15.6 M4 and bridge is up to date

I Have an adobe Bridge library that I am working on on Computer #1. I ended up switching to a second device and continuing to work on it exclusively on Computer #2 When I switched back to Computer #1, nothing I had worked on on the second had synced over. I have tried to update the app on both computers, sync the files again, I've restarted both devices, logged out and back into adobe on both. Despite adobe showing that the library on both devices is 'up to date' the items I added on the Computer #2 still only show up on that device, not #1. Additionally, the same Adobe CC account on Computer #2 shows the full library, and adobe CC on Computer #1 only shows what I had worked on on that computer. Does anyone know of a way to re-load manually, or another solution? The odd thing is that when I switched to Computer #2, all the files I had uploaded on Computer #1 showed up on #2, and now the files I added on #2 won't go back to Computer #1. When trying to do a Batch Rename, in window that pops up I am unable to select the Rename In Same Folder or Move to Other Folder options.Copy to Other Folder is the only option available to select.Am I missing a setting that got changed or did it get turned off in the latest update? I use this feature quite often (including last week, as in a few days ago) and this is the first time I've had this problem. I'm reading/using the files on an SD card. This is how I've always done it, without issue. I'm running Windows 10 Pro Version 12H2

It's still very difficult to let Adobe Bridge run e.g. the Image Processor or PhotoMerge in the current 'normal' version of Photoshop – not an older (earlier installed) or newer (public beta). Assigning extensions doesn't work, setting the Applications preference doesn't help either, and tweaking the startup scripts easily becomes a mess.   Since the use of Public Betas is being stimulated more than ever (due to the many AI improvements), keeping or getting control again over Bridge's application connections is clumsy. Please come up with a sensible and useful solution for this.   BTW: I'm on a Mac.

Hi. I'm having trouble searching Bridge for file names. It is extremely inconsistent. Sometimes is doesn't find a file name. Other times, it is only finding some of the files and not others that I know for sure include the word in name. And sometimes it even works. I've tried various ideas I've seen on these forums -- adding non-indexed files, renaming "v36" to "v36_backup" and confirming that my Macbook Pro's "Privacy & Security" tab is allowing Bridge. None have worked. I really need this search function. I have been naming the files of my bird photos religiously with the relevant bird name since I started with Creative Cloud and Bridge a couple months ago. I've been doing the renaming using Bridge. Now when I want to find all photos of a certain bird, most times only a handful of the photos come up, with most or none at all coming up in search. The problem is the same whether I'm searching for the photos on an SD card, my Macbook hard drive or an external HD.One m

Bridge 15.1.0.625 under Windows 11A folder of images that I had previously viewed without any problems suddenly brought up the error: "Unable to multiply transform. GDI status: InvalidParameter". No idea what that means.I had to click OK several times, Bridge displayed several blank thumbnails, then appeared to go back to normal again further down the batch. Team, can you explain what caused this, please?

Buenas: Tengo un ordenador Geekom A5 (AMD) con Windows 11 pro. El problema que tengo es el siguiente: cuando abro el Adobe Bridge y selecciono una foto se me apaga el ordenador por completo. Yo trabajo con archivos RAW. Los tengo convertidos a DNG. Selecciono la foto DNG que quiero ver, y en ese momento se me apaga el ordenador. Tengo el Bridge actualizado hasta la última versión que es 2025.  Con la Camera RAW, Adobe Phothosop, Lightroom etc, no tengo ningún problema. Solamente con el Adobe Bridge A ver si me pueden ayudar. Muchas gracias
