Since I use Photoshop cc 2015 the "file -> info" only saves the first word. Since Photoshop cc 2014, Photoshop copies the text and text style from another source (like a website or pdf). So, this gives me a lot of extra work to first copy the text from a website or pdf, paste into a node pad file and copy/paste it from the node pad file into Photoshop. Whats going wrong with adding text to the info file in Photoshop? - I don't want Photoshop to copy the text styles (from a website or pdf), just the text like it always did. - Why does Photoshop only save the first word (keyword) when I copied entire lines with commas from my node pad file? (I'm a Mac user)

I use a Macbook Pro laptop and connected monitor; Since upgrading to OS X El Capitan, Photoshop CC 2015 does not resize its window area when unplugging the computer from the (larger) monitor - meaning all the toolbars palettes are outside of the viewable screen real-estate. This happens with the Application frame on, and the only way I can see to solve it (ie get it to resize to fit the laptop screen area is to save all current docs, quit Photoshop and relaunch it, wherein it will fit to the new size. Resizing the laptop screen res in System preferences doesn't make a difference. It didn't do this in Mavericks - the application resized itself perfectly - but I don't think it's the OS as other apps seem to cope fine with on-the-fly screen size changes.

When you go to Automate > Batch and choose the destination Folder, the file browsers brought up by the Choose menus to select the Source and Destination folders are sorted differently. The Source lists numbers by their first digit (so it's file1.psd, file10.psd, file2.psd) and the Destination lists numbers bey their last digit (so it's file1.psd, file2.psd, file3.psd). This isn't a big deal for doing batches within simple file structures, but it can be confusing when working with a more complex project since the folders are listed in a different order (which can have disastrous results if you make a mistake and don't have a backup!). I've been automating batches for years, and this is a weird little glitch that I'd love to see sorted out. Thanks!

Can't duplicate a group below the current group by holding alt and dragging it. Im using Photoshop CC now, I was using CS5 before and have just upgraded. This was possible in CS5. You can duplicate every other type of layer but not the group itself.

Hello, In my Photoshop CC 2015.0.1 release, when using the "create new document from current state" button, smart objects' unlinked masks are systematically ignored. (MacPro OSX 10.9.5) Apart from that, kudos for Photoshop that I've been happily using since version 3.0 (back in 1995). Cheers

Photoshop CC 2015.1 - Now I can't open new images using drag-and-drop on usual photoshop area (zone 2 on screenshot), possibly to use very small zone 1. It's just my personal PC problem, or anybody have some bug?

When editing video, the play-head can become out of sync with the red line beneath it. This is re-creatable by zooming into the timeline quickly. (It may take a few tries.) I believe this occurs more with larger videos but that may not be the case. e.g.

When i make a keyboard shortcut for playing an action ( Ctrl+shift+< ) it is saved and I summarize and save the shortcuts but the next time I open Photoshop, the shortcut has been changed to ( Ctrl+shift+&) which is impossible to use... This is most likely a bug that should be fixed!

Photoshop CC 2015.5.1 - When adding noise to the blurred area it is not seamless. This happens with all filters in the blur gallery except with the spin blur filter where the noise is smoothly blended to the edge of the blurred area. These sample images have such a high amount of blur just to show the problem I have with the filters. It occurs on both Mac and Windows versions of Photoshop.

When working with a PSD containing text, I cannot edit the type layer within the file, if the file is opened from the recent files drop down or the home screen in Photoshop. I have not tested this with other file types but seems to be an issue with any PSD I open.Opening using Finder or the open dialogue works fine.

Just wanted to provide feedback that there is a bug in Photoshop 2017 when viewing a file on Photoshop stretched across two monitors. I am using a 2010 Mac Pro with two 30 inch Apple Cinema Displays running separately on two ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB graphics cards. The image repeats when placed between screens. This issues does not occur on the 2015.5 version.

just updated a few days ago to 2017.1 and my shortcuts keep reverting to default tool , i searched the forums and found this was a problem a few version back and was fixed , i am on mac, sierra

Recently I noticed the latest release of PS that memory use has double when just starting the program. Also it is sluggish when closing down. Before when starting PS and sitting at the startup screen the memory use was around 400mb. Now at the same place I'm hitting around 1,543.8mb or more and I haven't opened a file yet.

I worked on script for removing unused effects. Instead I found total chaos. I found 10 bugs and I found that is impossible to do script which will work correctly.Here is list of sh*ts you can't remove layer style/effect if app.doForcedProgress() dialog is shown you can't remove e.g. second drop-shadow from three even if script listener records code with list item index... it always removes first you can't use code for removing style/single-effect if all effects are disabled or main visibility is disabled. In photoshop you can do it, but recorded code in script listener doesn't works if I clear style with drag and drop fx icon to recycle bin, it removes style and keep blending options... but code recorded in script listener doesn't there is no posibility read options if mask hides effects... so if you read descriptor, change values and set descriptor, it always reset these settings to default values action "paste layer effect and keep advanced blending" is incorectly recorded in scrip

Photoshop CC 2017. - The stacking order of paths does not behave the way it should after the April update of Photoshop CC 2017. What happened before:I drag the bottom path to the top, and the path that used to be on top, is now the second path.What happens now:I drag the bottom path to the top, and the path that used to be on top, now changes position with the path I'm dragging, hence it is now at the bottom! I work with many paths in my files and the stacking order is important, so me and others who use my files can easily find the right paths to use.Now... I end up spending a lot of time rearranging the stacking order by hand, and I have no idea if this is a bug, a setting I can't find, or a new feature that cannot be changed. But it's increasingly becoming a problem in my workflow. 

Photoshop CC 2018 I am in the second VIEW Mode ( full screen mode with menu bar.)The image to work on is not zoomed, meaning in fits in the screen frame.I move the image to any side so it is only partially visible on the screen.I press quick mask (Q) and the image immediately jumps right in the middle of the frame again.This is a new behavior and very annoying.This does not happen in full screen mode without any menu bar .

The shading effects in this do not work correctly.  The vertical shading effects are the reverse of the horizontal effects.    Meaning, if you have a point light in the center of an image, the light radiating to the sides will light bumps  correctly, but the vertical shading is backwards, as if the light was coming in from the top and bottom.  You can see this in the image I link to here:https://www.dropbox.com/s/plaxehhcdg9i0e3/LightingEffects.psd?dl=0The middle layer was rendered in CS6, and is correct.  The top layer is wrong.This worked correctly in CS6, but has since been broken, and is still broken in the current 2018 version.  This occurs with all three lighting modes; horizontal shading is correct, but vertical shading is inverted.

With the new CC 2018 layer based copy feature, "paste in place" does not paste anything from an action. The action will record an action step for the "paste in place" but the action step does not actually paste anything. Paste in Place does work correctly when doing in manually from the new layer copy feature. Also, paste in place works from an action if it is a selection copy, just not the new layer copy. Also, the regular paste command works in an action from the new layer copy feature (but will center based on transparency bounds).

In Photoshop 19.0, add a Linked Vector Smart Object from the library into your image.Choose Image>Trim. An error will occur and the graphic will become unlinked. Here's the problem in action: https://www.screencast.com/t/jRdrbiqcI

In photoshop CC 2015 (2015.1.1 20151209.r.327 2015) , when choosing File > Export > Export as... > Export all, I can't use the keyboard shortcut for paste to paste anything into the name field. Nothing happens. I can right-click and choose to paste and it works as expected.

In past versions of Ps I was able to zoom in to where my cursor was using Alt+Scroll Wheel. In CC this no loner works. It only scrolls to he center of the canvas and I must move the bars to find my place, which can be choppy and slow. Overall, great product.

I'm doing a simple animation mockup and for some reason, a section of the smart object layer won't stay. The animation is simple. The iPhone just moved right then back left again. The bottom corner seems to always reset its position. No matter how many times I change the position once I move the timeline the size resets again. Any suggestions? I've been trying to google suggestions for 2 days straight and found nothing so far.
