Version 23.3.2 Mac, however, I can reproduce in other versions.   Layer in artboard "Test 1", layer menu > duplicate to artboard "Test 2" in the same file. Downscaling an image using Export As produces blurry and stepped images. Save for Web produces clean and smooth images. This is using the latest version 21.1.1 on Windows. This image was 4500x3000, I've downscaled it to 1500x1000 in both Export As and Save for Web.Just look at the attached images and see how the word "Cover" looks so much worse in Export As when compared to Save for Web.

I have encountered many problems with Photoshop over the last years, this meant I often had to 'Alt-Tab' my way to a different application so Photoshop could release its grip and free the fields. I have a PSD with multiple slices. When I select Save for Web (File > Export > Save for Web (Legacy)), it no longer prompts you when you try to save to a file that already exists. It simply overwrites the file straight away without prompting. I have had multiple chats with different Adobe Support staff with multiple cases being opened, and the problem still exists in Photoshop 23.3.0 and above. I have cleaned up preferences, removed Photshop, and resinstalled. Have also run the official Creative Cloud Cleaning Tool and the problem still re-occurs. Latest test was removing Photoshop and re-installing version 23.0.0 and that worked fine. The problem disappears. When you save a slice, if the file already exists, Ps will prompt you to ask if you wish to overwrite the existing file. After updating to Photoshop 23.3.0 and 23.3.2, the problem re-occurs. If you switch from a tool to another while holding the tool's shortcut button (i.e : switch from brush tool to eraser tool with a shortcut, but holding the "e" key while erasing something) make photoshop toggle between those tools. Some people may make use of it, but not me. In addition, the keyboard shortcut often lag, making photoshop do the toggle out of nowhere. Photoshop version 23.3.1 (updated 2022-05-03) Illustrator version 26.2.1 (updated 2022-05-03) Mac OS 12.3.1   I have Illustrator smart objects in all of my production template photoshop files to show job information.  In each I have 4 occurences of the same smart object (so I only have to update one, and the rest populate).  I opened the master smart object to edit the info and resaved it.  When photoshop received the update, the alignment shifted.  It appears that photoshop is aligning it as 'Center', regardless of what my setting in illustrator, which was 'align left' in this case.     I did a couple tests with the smart object:  1.  Aligning the text right, and center, and back to left.  Each time I re-saved the smart object, when Photoshop received the update, the text stayed in the same location. 2.  Adding spaces to the end of the text field and saving.  When Photoshop receives this update, the text moved back

Photoshop's new webp support under save-as copy produces images that are over saturated compared with the original in photoshop, and when compared to exported jpg files. I noticed with the latest Photoshop version, that running actions that do not contain an entry for subdivisions lead to Photoshop freezing. Really basically. I'm in photoshop and when I type the letter "p" photoshop immediately crashes. Using other fonts seems to let me type type the letter. Curiously the font has no issues in other adobe apps, just photoshop and just the letter "P". I'm usisng a Macbook running macOS 12.1 and photoshop version 23.1

Anyone else having an issue with Photoshop crashing when trying to change image size.  I have a lot of orders to complete and this was no issue until I did the update.  HELP!!!!!  And I have done three of these

Hello. After last updates (Osx Catalina and CC 2020), when the save window appear, the focus, highlite, is on all the file name and extension instead only the filename. I suspect the issue is related to Catalina, but I ask if anyone has noticed the same thing. Alright, not sure is this intentional or not, but it's a weird behavior.   Whenever I change a layer opacity on a file, upon switching to another file, the layer opacity change on the previous working file will be applied to the new/current file that I just switch over to. Exact process, I typed in a number on the layer opacity (without hitting enter), then switching to another file, the opacity change end up applying to both files
