Photoshop version 23.3.1 (updated 2022-05-03) Illustrator version 26.2.1 (updated 2022-05-03) Mac OS 12.3.1   I have Illustrator smart objects in all of my production template photoshop files to show job information.  In each I have 4 occurences of the same smart object (so I only have to update one, and the rest populate).  I opened the master smart object to edit the info and resaved it.  When photoshop received the update, the alignment shifted.  It appears that photoshop is aligning it as 'Center', regardless of what my setting in illustrator, which was 'align left' in this case.     I did a couple tests with the smart object:  1.  Aligning the text right, and center, and back to left.  Each time I re-saved the smart object, when Photoshop received the update, the text stayed in the same location. 2.  Adding spaces to the end of the text field and saving.  When Photoshop receives this update, the text moved back

I've got several actions that switch my grid parameters in Photoshop. I noticed with the latest Photoshop version, that running actions that do not contain an entry for subdivisions lead to Photoshop freezing. In the example in the screenshot, the actions GridSize 20 and GridSize 32 work fine, but running GridSize 64 leads to a freeze every time. Really basically. I'm in photoshop and when I type the letter "p" photoshop immediately crashes. Using other fonts seems to let me type type the letter. Curiously the font has no issues in other adobe apps, just photoshop and just the letter "P". I'm usisng a Macbook running macOS 12.1 and photoshop version 23.1

Anyone else having an issue with Photoshop crashing when trying to change image size.  I have a lot of orders to complete and this was no issue until I did the update.  HELP!!!!!  And I have done three of these

Hello. After last updates (Osx Catalina and CC 2020), when the save window appear, the focus, highlite, is on all the file name and extension instead only the filename. I suspect the issue is related to Catalina, but I ask if anyone has noticed the same thing. My working speed is affected and I would like to know if anyone has a solution to ensure that only the file name is highlighted (in save and export).Thank youMichele

With the brush tool enabled, Right-Click to select any brush, resize a brush, or change the round of a brush, including Kyle Webster's brushes, it disables the Brushes Presets window for a moment. I've noticed this happens on both Mac & PC.

Alright, not sure is this intentional or not, but it's a weird behavior.   Whenever I change a layer opacity on a file, upon switching to another file, the layer opacity change on the previous working file will be applied to the new/current file that I just switch over to. Exact process, I typed in a number on the layer opacity (without hitting enter), then switching to another file, the opacity change end up applying to both files

Every time I export a new image, the quality goes back to "Good". This is very bad, since sometimes users might end up forgetting to switch it, which ends up in a super low quality image.This happens during the same Photoshop session, and as well as a new session.   I have tested this with several 10mb images, as well as 500kb images.   Side note:  Having a percentage quality option from 0% to 100% is much better than these new options. "Good" is actually pretty "Poor" in my opinion, there's no way an image exported as "Good" should ever be pixelated.

I recently moved from an Intel Mac to a Silicon Mac and having a bug where the Save for Web: "Save Optimized As" dialog keeps opening in the bottom left corner of the screen, rather than the last location that i had it open before (which seems to be the normal functionality based on how other dialogs retain their last open position).    I am using save for web because I use image slices for game development. I have 12.3.1 Montereay on my mac & & PH 23.3.1 have odd disjointed image or black screen coming up whe opening files All the layers are there but what give??

Hi I am trying to save my layers as a GIF in Photoshop. The layers are JPEG files I've drawn myself so aren't from an existing video.   I am using "Export save for web" but everytime I try to save the file an error message pops up. It reads "Could not complete this operation. An unknown erro has occured."   I have tried reducing the pixel size so the image is now 566x800px, but that hasn't made a difference. Dear Adobe Concerns, I am an Adobe user since 1994. Recently, I am having a problem regarding document/image size issues which I have never faced earlier or I have never recognized it. I already talked with two college professors who are specially teaching on Adobe Softwares if they can help me out of this problem but unfortunately they failed to resolved the issues and they never recognized this issue too.   Actually, I have opened a document sized 45mm x 45mm with 300 ppi for one of my client. After opened the document, when I am checking the image size under the "Image" menu, it's showing 44.96 x 44.96 instead of 45 x 45mm, and for this reason, I failed to upload that image to a perticular website as they were asking for the file size 45 x 45mm.
