P: Photoshop can't open, freezes on splash image, uses all of ram trying to open then crashes.

I have googled every possible variation of this problem and tried every fix for this problem, none of them worked. I have tried reinstalling photoshop, deleting everything even remotely related to photohop in the appdata, deleting custom fonts, restarting the computer, updating graphics and computer, and holding every possible combination of alt, ctrl and shift while trying to launch in administrator mode. The result is always the same. It opens the splash image, gets to loading preferences or brushes, spikes RAM usage to every last byte of RAM I have, freezes the computer, then crashes.

And no i'm not running it on a potato i'm running it on an Alienware Aurora 4090, it should have more than enough power to handle this and Photoshop ran perfectly fine for months. Then just today it crashed and has never started up again.

Photoshop version 25.11

Help.

Uninstall all BETA apps & re start. That worked for me. You don’t have to uninstall any preferences or plugins like I did 🤦‍♂

Bon je réponds à mon problème résolu...

J'ai du supprimer toute application adobe de mon mac (y compris créative cloud) puis tout réinstaller. Ca refonctionne.

Courage à tous. 😉

I have been wrestling with this issue for 4 days and I finally figured it out on my Mac M1 Max. I have the Clean My Mac software and I went in and unibstalled the Media Encoding software because I only use the Photoshop, Lightroom, Lightroom Classic and Bridge software package. As soon as I did that, I restarted my computer, went to Ceative Cloud, clicked on Photoshop v25.11 and it launched immediately. I was about to give up but I'm pleased that I didn't. I don't know if the Media Encoder program is an issue on your computer but it was clearly an issue on mine. I hope this fix can work for you.

All of sudden my Photoshop does not open either. I have used PS daily for decades without issue, but have not been able to open for 3 days now. I have a high power Mac mini 2 plenty of HD space. I have unistalled and re installed nothing seems to work. How do I contact Adobe direct?
