P: Program error when saving, lag when zooming, changes not reflecting in document window (macOS)

Since the 22.1 update, MAJOR bugs:

- ‘could not save because of a program error’ when saving, work around: hiding a few layers or folders.

- major lag when zooming in

- actions and changes delay in showing, to the point where they never show up - once I close the document and quit Photoshop and go back in the changes are  visible.

what’s going on??

Working on MacBook Pro 2017 (8g memory) running Big Sur

Same. ps 2021 bugged as hell.

Some time - only print-screen and past in other doc.

( after a day of trouble shooting  with a Adobe tec person,  the only way to resolve the problem of the glitches is to go back to the 22.0.0 version)

this is a problem/bug that started yesterday, tried to save an image of 1G and recieved pop up warning could not save because of program error. I tried saving for large document same thing, tried duplicating image and saving same warning, shut down- reopened same thing - forced quit - reopened same thing.  shut down computer, repaired disk, opened image and same problem ... tried to purge but purge all under edit is grayed out. This is a HUGE problem!!!! cant continue working on images for client since I cant save them!!!! have a dead line and this no laughing matter. how do I downgrade to previous version of photoshop cc, little bugs with this version making it difficult if not impossible to work.

@JeffreyTranberry

Just started having this issue! That's 5 updates and 5 new bugs! First I couldn't save then I couldn't create smart objects and would get the same error message. The only acceptable solution was rolling back to the previous build. Would love to have a stable version of Photoshop again. Please hire a better team to find and fix bugs before sending out updates.
