Hi, I notice that in the last few versions of 3D Stager the Import options dialog box doesn't show itself while importing CAD files. I usually import IGES files and all worked fine in the past, while importing you could determin the accuracy level of the import like Very High (for the tesselation) etc. In the last few versions although you can choose "show model import options" in settings, it doesn't really work and the model is imported directly with medium/low tesselation level. Does anyone know anything regarding this issue? Alon.

Hello! I have the latest version of Substance 3D Stager installed. When I select a light, the tabs under the properties panel (transform, object, and animation) are all completely empty. I can't see any of the options, despite them being there before. I reset my preferences, tried making a new light, and tried making a new file, but nothing brings the options back. How can I fix this?Thanks!

Both Stager and Dimension (latest version, the previous worked well) have a problem on illustrator artboards.When you apply the same file with different artboards on a 3D object, one as decal and 1 as fill, Stager and Dimension change both of them.In previous version you could keep different artboards on the same 3D object.Please not reply to split all the artboard in different files or upload different Illustrator files!This workaround is a waist of time. The software should work correctly as previous version.See Video to better understand.Thanks for fix the problem.

I have a brand new Mac Mini Pro with 16gb Ram and 500gb hard drive and I am using a trial version of the latest Substance Stage (I have the rest of CC). I have created a scene with a wine bottle with two spotlights, but 3 point lights. I managed to render a few times but then the lighting started glitching. I would hide a light but it was hiding the wrong one. Now if I had a new spotlight it shows in viewport but is non existent in ray tracing. This programme is unusable!

GPU continues to report rendering errors. MacBook Pro M3 Pro, Mac OS Sequoia 15. Log attached.

Hi everyone,I continue experiencing a bug in Dimension and even in Stager regarding the way the 2 softwares show the textures when I apply them.Let me be more crystal clear with an example. I have a cup with an inner texture and an outer one. I try to apply the texture to one of the 2 sides and it appeas inverted: if apply it to the inner side, the texture swaps to the outside! I tried and tried but nothing changed. Then I tried deleting the model and doing "UNDO" to have the model again, everything was correct.I have to apply this work around every time to work properly or I will see the texture not to be showed correctly.

HI, I'm facing a big issue on Substance, while I'm working on a file I often get an error message "Unable to start rendering engine" My GPU drivers are up to date Does anyone as a solution for this issue ? I already looked on some topics but I didn't find a solution... The specs of my computer are these :AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor 3.60 GHz64 RAM 3200MHzRTX 4060

Hello,This happens very, very regularly. I will have a file where I stop using a material... and I cannot delete what appears in its place (once I delete my unused material). In it's place appears a material called: "Default material" (and its unused icon) Then, when I rty and delete that unused material, a different unused material appears in its place called: "Default material 84" (aind its unused icon) And each time I try and delete that unused material, it just counts up another unused material (... 85, ... 86, etc.). There are no meshes assigned to said unused material, it is just sitting there. There are times where if I close the file and reopen it, I can delete the unused material... and there are times when, even after several times closing the file and opening it, the unused material cannot be deleted. There are also times when there are more than one of these unused material, that I cannot delete. Anyone else running into this? Version 2.0.

Stager v3.0.3 On Mac M2 Sonoma 14.6I saved my file yesterday and it was fine, but when I came to open it again the preview was corrupted. Also all the folders in the stage area had disappeared and nothing can be done to move objects around or access the menus or select objects. Rendering is disabled as well. When I open this file I am unable to quit it and have to force quit.It looks like the below screenshot whereas it should be a full colour image of a display unit. I've not had this problem before in either Stager or Dimensions. Like I say it looked fine when I saved it. The same is true of the autosaves. Any ideas what's going on here?

I am unable to access my project material library, so if I want to add the same material to another component, I have to completely remake the material. This turns a simple task into a nightmare and makes Stager unusable. 

Recently experienced two issues:1. Accidentally deleted an object and undo was not functional.2. Unable to move an object (not locked) - relaunched app resolved issue.

I am using 3D Stager since 3 years now. Since probably a week I ran into a serious problem (twice). My whole stager scene is not usable anymore.I can navigate but i can NOT render or delete/add any asset in the scene. Nor can I change anything.Scene assets are visible in the view port but not on the right side, where I normally see all assets and cams.To say it short: this sucks!

Hi there, I am pretty new to 3D and I usually create my models in Blender and import them into 3D Stager to create a scene. I have created a bottle model in Blender (using a simple cylinder) in which I'd like to add the labels to and create a scene for, however, when I generate the UVs via 3D stager, I get these weird distortions, seamlines and angles that make it impossible to add artwork to.  I attempted not to generate the UVs in 3D Stager and just exported the UVs that I guess Blender had created, and it certainly looks more normal and correct on the surface, however, I get these weird lines (which Ig I could erase) and it seems that the file is stretched vertically. I added a perfectly square shape on the UV so you can see the stretch.  So I'm not sure what to do here because as an amateur modeling this bottle took me a bit and I didn't really do anything weird other than giving the cylinder some bevel in Blender. If anyone knows how to generate

Hi community,since Stager update to 2.1 on Windows 10, we are facing load problem with files we worked on before.On opening some ssg-files they load up to 100%  and then screen freezes before showing the content.Stager does not react on anything any more, no close possible. App must be cancelled by windows task manager. Crash report was sent to Adobe.This only happens to some files, other files are loading normal.What is to do, any recommendations here?Thank you for help.Hans PS: right now I tried to import issue file, but problem resists.Windows task manager screenshot image

Recently updated to Stager 3.0.2 and I can't render anymore.I set stager to use high performance for the graphic card in the system settings.My system is compatible according to the log.I use win10 (latest update) 1080ti (updated)I read in some forums that others had the same issue and reverted back to older version of Stager.I still want to know if there is a better solution.When I render, it starts rendering and then crashes with this error:"Unable to start the rendering engine..."

Since previous version, Adobe Substance Stager can't render materials lik Lace with opacity channel.Adobe Dimension hasn't problem with the same material.I create a .sbsar lace material and it works well in Dimension and it doesn't in Stager.See the screenshot comparison and the material (Pizzo AI.sbsar) to test here attacched.I use a Mac Book Pro M1 Max with Mac Os Ventura.Anyone can suggest how to fix it?Thank in advance for your help. 

Substance 3D Stager material i directly downloaded from Creative could desktop from the stock and market place, and they used to show up in the material panel, but suddenly they disappeared from the Substance 3D Stager material panel. any idea why. as you can see in the images i use to have this material in the panel but not any more. please help.  

Hi team,Im doing work on pillar candles. I downloaded the pillar candle asset from the assest library. I apply an image to wrap around the candle, and there is always a slight line cutting through the graphic. I thought this was maybe a viewpoint percentage problem so I adjust from say 78.9% to 80% to round it up (which doesn't save in the file btw), to no avail.I render Ultra / Real time.Its also in the design view. Its always at the exact same spot no matter what I try. Is it a problem with the assest perhaps or something to do with the wrapping engine, or maybe my graphics card. Images below. You can see a slight black line down the candle. Thanks team. Windows 11 / Stager 2.1.4  

I'm not sure if this is a bug or if something just got turned off accidentally, but I'm completely new to Stager and I'm trying desperately to use it for my final which it's required for. Earlier today I opened up my working file to find that all my objects that I had been putting material and graphics on had gone completely black, like the lights had been turned off. I checked the lights in the panel and all of them were still turned on and no matter how I adjusted them it made no difference. I even tried adding more lights it made no difference. I checked to see if the graphics were still showing up in the materials of each object and they were. I haven't changed the location of any of my files or renamed any of them, so I'm very confused. The objects were ones I created in Illustrator and imported into Stager. I tested to see if any of the preset objects that are available in Stager would work and they showed up just fine. Feeling ho

Saying what I think might not just be on my mind, but other users' as well. Trying Stager out because I wanted faster, easier renders of objects for illustration support. Keyshot is brilliant, but a bit expensive, and Maya (my 3D software of choice) just isn't quite as easy/fast to set up and render for all I need. So my experience so far, anyone else having these problems?It took four installs to get Stager to work (running it on an Alienware so not really short on horsepower).It loads and works without stalling and freezing maybe once out of every ten times, including a couple fo computer restarts. Works nicely when it does, renders beautifully and quickly, but why can't I just change the pivot for an object so it's not an akward dance of rotate then push-pull, repeat, to position something?My best tip so far: start the task manager before you start Stager so you can kill it early instead of wasting time waiting for it to not fully load a file.

I have a problem importing a background image. When I try to import a background image, I get the following message: There is a problem reading the file. There is nothing wrong with the file, as I tried to use the same file with a colleague and it works normally.Can anyone help me solve this problem.Thank you.

I have multiple glass plynths I am trying to light serveral are set up and working fine (they have 4 area light surrounding the glass to light up the interior). The issue I am having now is whenever I add or copy new lights into the scene they dont seem to light anything up?  There is probably a much easier way to get the effect i want but I am fairly new so still learning. I have multiple coloured glass pillars inside each other and then wanted to make them glow.  

Where did the Max CPU cores dialoque go? I have current 2.4.1 version of substance painter.I want to use the my CPU to render as a work around for the GPU max vram bug but can not find it. I can turn of the GPU button in the rendering settings but I can not find the CPU Max cores dialoque as listed in your documentation (see window pasted below).I have 32 cpu cores so cpu rendering is almost as fast as GPU nvidea geforce RTX 2070 with 8 vram on my machine. However I need to limit the cores the renderer uses so I can run system, photoshop, etc while rendering in the "background". I would use GPU but there seems to be a known bug with off loading vram when it maxes out which causes system to bog down and almost stop running.Please help! I have burned a lot of expensive time trying to work around no Rendering Q, GPU max vram bug and finally trying to render with cpu while continuing to work in photoshop! Will beta version help? If yes, how do I get access to beta?
