Last night i was able to open my project file with premiere pro beta. I guess it updated since last night, because now I cant open my projects which is concerning due my projects being in the middle of a large / importnant edit. Im not sure if I can somehow move this project into regular Premiere Pro. Just need to have the project be able to open.

This has always been the case I think... Working in a multichannel sequence where the DMEN (full mix) bus goes to outputs 1+2 and the seperate stems go to higher tracks. Typically I edit with the master bus set to 2 channels and switch to 8 for export. This always requires that I reload the sequence for outputs 3-8 to work.  It's a very minor gripe but be good if it could be addressed. Thanks PS loving the new audio transition timeline interaction. Much more DAW like.

And it's my own fault. Forgot to specify output folder after creating a new project.  It put the file in the folder I last specified for the previous project, and I forgot what that was, so I had to go find it (it was apparent next time I went to export).  A long time ago we discussed making the DEFAULT destination folder for exports to be the PROJECT FOLDER, not last used folder.  Should have a settings switch to choose project folder or last used. Anything happening with that? 

On the latest update I made today premiere beta started crashing bad. I did a full reset as always remomewded on the settings, later reinstalled the nvidia drivers all clean install just in case and finally reintalled Premiere Beta, finally disabled all audio or video plugs. But finally after everything opens ok without any tabs opened, when I try to open the essential sound tab it crashes and closes Premiere. Any other tab works ok. Looks like something is wrong with the essesntial sound system, I am runing a rtx4090 with latest update so dont think it can be an issue. What its the issue? It was working all ok as this morning before I updated and know its creating this creashes.

Maybe I'm the only one, but when trying to set up a new project, there is no way to change the save location.

Hi.  I'm working on a sequence and am fixing the sequence transcription as I edit.  When I cut portions of the video and audio, the sequence transcription does not cut the video/audio that I cut, so i have an incorrect transcript.  I have to retranscribe the whole sequence, which means that I have to fix the errors from the automated transcription again, which is hours of lost work.  I have not found a way to erase the transcription portions that no longer go with the edit.  I had to export the transcript that I was working on so as to not lose the work, but I'm worried that it will create a mess. 

Dear adobe, can you hide or make it costumable for the header bar below the tools bar, its really annoying having another panel that less usable for my editing. I see that some people also noticing this issue in reddit and youtube, and when i try the new beta version this issue is also not fixed for me. Can you do it? Thankyou!

After using Speech to Text and using the tool to create edits (removing filler words/pauses), any clips in the timeline that are selected for a label color change apply to all clips in the timeline - not just the clips selected.

I have a 30 min TV video spoken in clear Dutch. Somehow the transcript feature is transcribing it in English. Never had problems with this before. Also I've tried changing the transcription preferences to Dutch and turned off and on the 'enable language auto-detection'. I hope this can be resolved. 

I have auto tag turned off but somehow it manages to tag clips I am editing in the timeline. Have not figured out exactly what triggers this action. UDH clips (canon mxf iframe) in a 1080p timeline. Effects I use are Motion (position and scale) Lumetri and WS. 24.3.0.13 W11

It seems like the IA used to the enhance speaking feature was only trained for english speakers. It totaly changes the words of the speaker in other languages, like Portuguese. Sometimes it even cuts words in the middle of it. This is an incredible feature, it would be very helpful if it could be fixed to work in other languages.

When I enhance a video with german speech the program misunderstands words and replaces for example Rockstep with Rocket or Rocks eck. It feels like it is sometimes wrongly editing and changing some words

This has been reported before (as far back as 2016, give or take) so this is redundant but maybe a new set of eyes will see it.  I am working on a documentary with tons of multicams set up.  Sometimes the waveform for the multicam  doesn't show up so I'll do 'render audio' in order for the waveforms to be created.  If I close the project and re-open it, those rendered waveform files disappear and the audio has to be re-rendered in order to see again.  So annoying!Premiere Pro 24.3 BETA2021 Apple MacBook M1 Pro Ventura 13.4.1c

Trying to start the latest Beta version throws up an error: The procedure entry point could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro (Beta)\HSL.dll  

In the clip speed / duration pop-up (ctrl+R) I can't click the link icon to unlink speed from duration. Tested in 2 different computers. I'm on the latest beta version. 24.3.0 build 43 on windows 11 and windows 10.

I have a few mp4 files which did not encode correctly from Media Encoder. I did an update. When I redo those exports within Premiere, tell it to Send to Media Encoder, then tell it to overwrite the existing file. It fails to add the job to teh Media Encoder queue. Maybe it has something to do with switching Beta versions between exports. Not sure.

I have been using text-based editing for a while. I have auto in and out set. However, when I attempt to do a ripple delete via the transcribe panel, nothing happens. It leaves the text and clips highlighted.  I opened the same project in 24.3.0 and highlighted the same section, and the ripple delete worked as expected. This is on Mac OS 14.4.1.

I've used text-based editing the past few weeks and had no problem, but today immediately after the latest update, it stopped working. I can see the text but if I highlight it, it doesn't let me delete it.

I recently updated to the latest Beta version, 24.4, and noticed that some essential features, such as text editing, cutting, deleting, and ripple delete, were not functioning properly. As a result, I downgraded to version 24.3, and now everything is working as expected. Upon checking, I found that the video segment is correctly marked, and the in-and-out points are working fine in the 24.4 version. 

ive realised something about premiere pro beta. For some reason when you Press alt. the top left of the screen opens up mode where the keyboard keys now effect the file, edit, clip, sequence, markers, graphics and titles, view, window and helpso alt and c will open the clip dropdownthis is good and all but in the newest version alt seems to toggle this feature rather than enable on down and disable on up. meaning if i press alt. im now stuck in this mode until i press alt again or click the mouse button.ive attached a video and in this video you can see when i let go of alt. the little lines under the tabs are still present

In version 22.2.1 and 24.3 beta (build 44), proxies made for Interpreted footage add a freeze frame after the original duration.  Both Windows and macOS.Example: 1. Import clips with frame rate 29.972. Interpret frame rate to 253. Create proxies Result: Proxies work fine up to the original clip length (they get longer after interpretation), but after that, they show just a freeze frame. Expected result is moving images, not freeze frame.This workflow has been working perfectly fine since version 22.6, but with the new proxy presets, it's broken. Please fix.
