Camera Raw

Hello I would like to ask you, when editing a photo in camera raw, a histogram pops up when I scroll the slider. what could I do about it? Thank you

Help me please !!! Suddenly my DNG converter stopped converting my CR3 files and status was saying: 'There was an error writing the file'I have uninstall and install it again and still does not work. Also tried with different SD card but is the same.  Please if you have any suggestions how to fix the bug i am listening! Thanks

Ich habe ein Problem mit neu erstellten Presets in Camera Raw (CC 2019 20.0.5) unter MacOS 10.14.6. Alle Einstellungen die ich neu abspeichere, werden mit völlig anderen Werte gespeichert. Ich habe mir die *.xml in einem Textprogramm angeschaut und festgestellt, dass dort völlig andere Werte eingetragen sind. Es sieht so aus, als stammen diese aus einem anderen Preset, da sie nicht willkürlich scheinen. Ist das ein Bug oder mache ich irgendwas falsch?

Can you save over the same jpeg file after you've made edits in ACR? So that the edits will be there when you open them in another program. I seem to only be able to save a copy (file named _1) using the save dialog in camera raw. I know it's meant to be non-destructive editing. But, if I want to save over the same file so as not to create multiple copies --can I do that?Thanks.

I have a Nikon D7000 and am processing on a new PC with Win10.  I have PSCS 5.0 and now Elements 17 in trial mode.  For some reason my Creative Suite will no longer open NEF (RAW) even though I have downloaded the latest update and Adobe site said my camera is supported.  When I downloaded Elemany  I found RAW opened right up last night.  This morning, it doesn't recognize the format.  No newer update is available.  Any suggestions/ideas?  Thanks

My co-worker is having trouble after upgrading his Camera Raw to 9.12.1. Prior to this, it worked fine, but now the histogram and preview window colors are overlayed with an odd blue color and the image preview is completely messed up.Yes, those are orange pumpkins....Here is the RAW editor zoomed out to better see the blue "overlay"When you "Open Copy", it opens in PhotoShop with the correct colors:Particulars on his machine:Any insight or assistance is appreciated. I have just picked up a d750 nikon and cs4 will not open NEF files, jpeg's are fine...I also own the nikon d700, and cs4 opens those NEF files...Is there any work around, or update available?

Bei der Aufnahme war an der Kamera versehentlich das Seitenverhältnis 16:9 eingestellt. Das Vorschaubildchen am PC zeigt jedoch das ganze Bild im Format 3:2, also sind die fehlenden Bereiche vorhanden. Camera RAW zeigt aber das auf 16:9 beschnittene Bild ebenso die erstellt jpg-Datei. Wie kann ich in Kamera RAW auf das gewünschte Verhältnis 3:2 zurückgreifen? Danke!

Hi, I'm using the new Sony A7R IV, although I've update the adobe camera raw to the latest version (11.4.1). The color/white balance seems don't work stable at sometime.  This issue is very obvious with the timelapse photos. Some of the timelapse photos color will gone totally wired. setting with the same white balance doesn't help, still strange color. I used other raw viewer to open the same raw file doesn't have any issue. So I'm wondering there might be something wrong with ACR 11.4.1 handle the A7R IV raw file. Please help

I posted this elsewhere, but this appears more appropriate.I installed the latest version of Photoshop CC yesterday 11.05.2019 along with the latest version of Bridge. I have exactly the same problem. I have tried to do an HDR in camera RAW from 5 files and "auto tone" will not work. I have tried Canon raw files and Sony A6500 raw files with the same result. I am using Windows 10.I have tried this on 2 different Windows 10 PC's and also on a Windows 7 PC. with exactly the same result.The latest version of Camera raw 11.2.1 will not create an HDR image.Adobe really need to fix this urgently.

HiI am using CS6 release 13.0.1 x64, with Bridge 5.0.2.4 x64.i do not see the radial filter option in ACR. i thought that the raw radial filter had been introduced before my installation. does anybody know whether radial filters were a later development, of if there is a bug in my installation? thanks.

I can no longer select an existing adjustment brush. When I try to select an existing brush, by clicking the icon the represents that brush, a new brush is created. I'm very familiar with using Camera Raw. I don't believe the problem I'm describing is a lack of familiarity with Camera Raw, or the adjustment brush feature.   Any help is appreciated

Hi, I hope someone can help.  I shoot tethered using Canon Digital Photo Professional software, I either use my 5D Mk IV or EOS R and have the same problem when using either camera.  I do a lot of product photography on a white background. I set my colour temperature so that it is consistant throughout. The Canon DPP software shows that I have a pure white background (255,255,255) by displaying a red highlight so I know by looking at this and by the values on the screen that the background is pure white.  However, when I open the raw files in Adobe camera raw either through Bridge, Photoshop or Lightroom, the background is no longer pure white, it is usually around 253 and the colour temperature has changed completely even though in the white balance says 'as shot'!  If I export the same file from Canon DPP, the orginal settings remain ie. pure white background and colour temperature, unfortunately I don't have the time to wait for Canon DPP to export all the files

Hi, Am using Mac, OS El Capitan. I’m using photoshop CS5 and not CC. I used to shoot RAW with a 3 yr old camera GX8, convert the images to DNG and open in ACR and subsequently in CS5. Without converting, I won’t able to open the images at all. So all these yrs I have successfully circumvent the problem.   Recently I purchased a newer camera Panasonic G95, upgraded the DNG converter to v10.5 which is the highest version that EC can recognise. I still can’t open the RAW.   Is the DNG converter v10.5 not developed to recognise this latest camera yet, or I need to go higher version like 11.4? But I can’t install any version more than 10.5   I learned from some articles that I can change the Exif info to lower brand of camera to trick the converter (something like that). Has anyone gone this path successfully? Even if yes, I tried not to do this trick. Still prefer the DNG conversion.   What’s the best course of action whilst retaining my OS and CS5   Worst case, I’

Camera raw (v11.4) changes made in Bridge (v9.1) seems to be lost when opened in the previous Bridge version (v8.1).Lost all my editing work. Is there no downwards compatibility between old & new software versions?   

Yesterday I made an update to the new version of Camera Raw V11.4.0.273. After the update, the GPU acceleration doesn't work anymore in Camera Raw. In Photoshop the GPU acceleration works. My system is Windows 10 1903, newest graphic card driver AMD Radeon HD 6800, 15.201.1151.1008. I looked also for any temporary GPU-Files in %AppData%\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\GPU, like described here: Re: Camera Raw Preferences: Use GPU for image processing  Thx for any help!

Need help with PSE 2019 I have updated the latest version of camera raw to my computer.  However,  when I open up pse and do the check for updates it doesn't say there is an update for the raw plug in.  How do I get the newer version into pse? I really don't want to have to use a dng converter,  that was one of  the reasons I updated my version of PSE. Super frustrated and would appreciate any help.  (Oh and I have a Nikon D750.) 

After the most current update, such presets stopped working in the following applications: Lightroom CC for iPad Lightroom CC (Smartphone) Camera RAW They still work in Classic and in LR CC desktop. We urgently need this to be fixed.

In July I created camera profiles using Xrite's ColorChecker and the associated software for Hasselblad X1D cameras. Both are supported by ACR. The profiles (.DCP files) were created and I imported them into ACR, and Lightroom Classic. I was use them in both programs and make them favorites. I tried to process images from the cameras today (2 SEP 2019) and the profiles were missing. I checked the folder where they were stored (C:\Users\"UserNAME"\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles\Imported and they were there. I tried to re-import them in LR and it reported they were already imported. I created two new profiles and LR reported they were imported, but they did not show up in the folder.   I talked to Adobe support on three times and spent over three hours with reps. Twice they accessed my computer and attempted a fix. I  was finallly told that the problem would be fixed in the next release and the case was marked resolved. Just installed the latest release and the
