Sorry if this is unclear as I'm not great with explanations, but I think there's an annoying little bug in Camera Raw, specifically the Upright Transform feature, even more specifically the "guided" option. So, I do real estate photography full time and I use the transform tool for upright/perspective correction in Camera Raw for practically every image I shoot. I bracket exposures so when correcting distortion and perspective it's extremely important that every image in a set lines up exactly, so I do batch edits for some adjustments. The issue I have is when I select a batch that I've bracketed to correct together as a group, when I use the Guided Upright tool, there is usually one photo in the bracket that does not adjust with the others. So, when I first noticed this was a problem, after I would draw my guide lines I would synchronize the batch, which is annoying but somehow has worked its way into my muscle memory. But then I noticed that even then, it doesn't always synchronize the
I am having an issue with trying to open my raw photos in Photoshop and Camera Raw. The photos look fine in the thumbnail, but when I go to open them in Camera Raw, there is a neon band of color across sections of the photo and the file is corrupted. Anyone else have this problem?Screen shot of file from folder - no corruptionFile after opening in Camera RawThis has happened on multiple photos, but not all the photos from the same Compact Flash cards.Anyone have any idea what is going on?Much thanks,Donna
The targeted adjustment brush has suddenly simply stopped doing anything. The "target" circle is still there, but when I apply it, instead of, say, slowly wiping out the bright red of clipped highlights when touched with the brush, the reds everywhere in the image instantly disappear as soon as the brush touches one part of the image. But when I go back to the basic panel, the red/blown highlights are all still there, completely untouched. (Furthermore, on the targeted adjustment page, the mask doesn't show up-- presumably because the brush isn't working.)
Recently bought a Canon GX7 Mark II. Now I cannot open the raw files in Photoshop CS6. I have the most recent ACR (9.11) and the camera is listed as being support from ACR version 9.9. When trying to open the CR2 files, Photoshop says it cannot open the file and suggests I update... but as said I already have the most recent update..... What am I doing wrong?
I have a new camera a Nikon D810 . It does not open raw files. I have PSCS5 extended. This had not been an issue in the past with previous cameras. Thanks, Balto
When using camera raw the image keeps changing into large random blocks instead of a single image. I have updated all video card drivers (nvidea GT730) and have the latest raw convertor. I have also tried taking the use graphics processor out in the raw settings. Any suggestions please.
Hello everyone, I am new to the Photoshop world. I have just purchased a Nikon D3400 and have PS CS6. It is updated to the ACR 9.1.1.461. My problem is that Adobe says that the D3400 camera IS a supported device, however, I cannot open the NEF file and I'm being forced to convert them to the DNG file type. Why am I having to convert my images from a camera that is 'supported'? Can anyone help me here? Thank you.
I see where the latest version of ACR supports the Hasselblad X1D camera, but none of the X series lenses (currently four) show in LR to apply corrections. When will I see the appropriate lens support?
I run Camera Raw 9.10.1 under Photoshop CC 2017 on an iMac with OSx 10.11.6. The iMac has an ATI Technologies AMD Radeon HD6670M OpenGL engine graphic processor. Photoshop configuration recognises the GPU and operates in the advanced mode. However, Camera Raw does not recognise the GPU. The preference box in Camera Raw is ticked for GPU use but it shows "unsupported hardware / driver version". There are no updates available to either the iMac or Camera Raw. Any ideas why this is happening? Is there a list of compatible GPU's available?
I have Camera Raw 9.10.1 installed, Photoshop CC opens my .c2r files just fine. The compatibility page says I need LR 6.5 and Camera Raw 9.5+ but I don't know where the CC version of Lightroom falls on the version scale and opening "About Lightroom" just says "2015 Release, Camera Raw 9.0". System Info gives me Lightroom version: CC 2015 [1014445]Is this a limitation of Lightroom, or am I doing something wrong with the 9.10.1 installation? I'd rather not have to manually convert all my raw images before I can import and work with them in Lightroom.
en el CR tengo los filtros interior y exterior invertidos... como puedo modificarlo? a que puede deberse?
I just installed the latest version of Photoshop on a different computer than my home CPU. For some reason, every RAW NEF file I open on this new computer opens looking like an actual negative. See picI never had this issue when using on my other CPU. My RAW plug-in is the latest, and my camera (Nikon D810) is supported. Is there some setting I'm missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Hi, I have a feature request for the Develop module in lightroom. In the histogram, I would love for the RGB percentages from where the cursor is hovering to also show up graphically in the histogram. Ie, if your R is 50%, G is 25%, B is 75%, then they each have a corresponding vertical line displayed at their corresponding horizontal place in the histogram. Many thanks
I have a Panasonic Lumix FZ300 and have downloaded Camera Raw 9.1.1 and a much later version. After each download, Elements 15 will open raw files. Then the next time I try, it will not open raw files. Any thoughts? I'm using a MAC 10.12.5
When importing my RAW (CR2) photos taken with my Canon Rebel T6 camera the images are striped and washed out (see screenshot below). When I view them on MacBook Pro with Sierra v10.12 the preview images are scrambled as well. However, when I view photos on my camera everything looks fine. How can I accomplish this import into LR6? Note: All Adobe and Apple updates are current prior to import attempts. LR info: Lightroom version: 6.10.1 [ 1117303 ] Any help is appreciated as I have customers waiting. Thanks!
I'm getting the Camera Raw error message still despite upgrading to new camera raw and even switching it back to Camera Raw version 10 without results. It also will not let me edit as a copy to send to Photoshop. I just bought a new Canon 5dMarkIV and now can't open the images in photoshop. Please help
Why is this happening, losing part of the image.
I use Photoshop CS3 and the DNG Converter. All with the lates updates. The DNG, who are made from the EOS6 cr2 files, are woking fine on PS CS3, but the DNG who made from the Canon G1X cr2 are very distortet. special the witerange pictures. On win10, CC PS, and Canon Software the Pics are good. The lates Camera Raw in CS3 PS is 4.6.For the EOS 6 is 7.3 needed, for the G1X M2 the Version 8.5 is needed. But I thing the DNG converter change different RAW files to a universel DNG Files. Is it normal that it not work, or have I make any mistake?Could it be true that I have to buy a new Photoshop Version only to read the Files from the new Camera?
When I select several images in camera raw and adjust the exposure it does not change the exposure of any of the other selected images other than the one I am viewing in the preview pane.edit: this is also happening when I paste develop settings. The exposure settings dont get pasted. And yes I have exposure checked off in both the sych preference pane and in the settings paste paneThis used to work in previous versions of photoshop/bridge/raw. I hope this is a bug since this process is a big part of my workflow.rant:I cant believe that for what we pay that there is absolutely NO support for bridge/raw from adobe directly. VERY disappointing. If I am paying for a subscription I expect at least an email address I can send issues to. In what world is this acceptable customer service?
I use ACR for about all my image work and am trying to get darker tones in greyscale like most of these images havehttps://www.picturecorrect.com/tips/are-you-making-these-10-common-street-photography-mistakes/ This is typical of what I am getting on my own in ACR. Anyone have a preset or something I could see to know what I need to adjust?
Can anyone tell me why my raw camera looks like this?
Hi ,I have this big problem and I tried many solutions and Still have same problem any help please ?
I just got a 7D Mark II and it doesn't support the Camera RAW I have. I have everything up to date however it isn't the version I need. What can I do?
when I try to import from the files already on the hard drive, I get the original raw file and also the dng. Why is it adding the CR2 raw file to the folder?
I do lots of batch processing in camera raw and one of the adjustments is to apply a crop to several images at once. I can then move quickly from one image to the next making small adjustments to the crop. However since the last couple updates I can no longer do that. I can apply a crop to a number of images but I can't make adjustments to the crop. I'm using a wacom tablet and pen and when I place my cursor at the corner to make the crop area larger or smaller I can see the double headed arrow. As soon as I make the slightest movement it changes to either the rotate arrow or the move tool. I have to try several times for the double headed arrow to stay and allow me to move the handles. Most of the time it's quicker to clear the crop area and just redraw the crop. So long quick editing. Any suggestions on why this is happening and why it just started?
