Camera Raw

Hi there, I have the most recent versions of Lightroom 2015.10 / Photoshop 2017.1.0 and Camera RAW 9.10 installed but i am still getting this message when i edit images in Photoshop from Lightroom:This version of Lightroom may require the Photoshop Camera Raw plug-in version 9.10 for full compatibilityPlease update the Camera Raw plug-in using the update tool available in the Photoshop help menuAny advise would be appreciated.Thanks,Glen

As the DNG converter has been updated over the years, has it stopped recognizing some file extensions (or perhaps camera models)?  I updated several levels and it will no longer open any CR2 files.  To be sure I wasn't just doing something wrong myself, I tried to convert a CR2 file that I had converted over the weekend in an older version.  Same file, same source folder (as it only lets you select a folder and not the file itself).WindowsThank you in advance for your assistance!

Let's say I have 100 photos in the develop mode already imported and some of them are favorite picks (P).I hate touching my mouse while doing this, I would like to go to one of the picks, select it with my mouse with one click,  and then select all the rest coming after it until the next pick, with my keyboard only.I will explain it in few steps so it will be clear.- pick 10 photos (P).- go and stand on one of them.- mark the selected photo and then all the rest coming after it until the next pick.- now jump again to the next pick etc.- do all that just with my keyboard.Is it possible to do such thing? With the keyboard of curse.Please let me know if there is an easy option here.Thanks a lot.

I just got the nikon d5600 and was completely frustrated when I realized I couldn't access my raw files in bridge or photoshop (I have CS5).  I tried downloading what I thought I needed -DNG converter 9.8 ? and had to upgrade my whole system in the process.  Its still not working and I don't know what I need to do so i can work on my raw files

Hello,I have the issue you can see in the video:Canon 7D2 CR2 problem with Lightroom CC and Photoshop CC - YouTube In some cases when I import a CR2 made with Canon 7D2 into LR CC or PS CC I have this issue.On the other hand, there is no any issue in any non-adobe image viewer software, for example irfanview. It happens about 2 times in 2000 image. It is not a huge percent, but so frustrating if you need that 2 image.I have tried several things:- Win7, Win8 and Win10- desktop PC and 2 notebook- I have swapped my hard drives and reinstall all software to new ones. (both the operating system and LR+PS also)- different memory cards, SD and CF, with low-level format- it also the same with ACR 9.4 and 9.12- there is no any issue with 50D, 7D, 6DIt is only happen in LR and PS, so that's the reason why I think it is an ACR issue. But I really do not know what kind of error can be in the CR2 file that cause this.Have you ever seen sg like this or have you got any solution for this?Thanks.Regar

Hi,My workflow for my Raw files (ARW) is -1. Import into LR (for Image management purposes only)2. Edit in PS (for all image manipulation)I never get the Camera Raw module displayed and am unsure if LR has applied settings specific to my camer/lens. It has obviously converted my Raw format for viewing.I know I can run Camera Raw dialogue from Filters in PS, but this isn't the same in terms of Raw conversion settings I may want to apply specifically/automatically e.g. spcific to my camera/lens.Also when running Camera Raw filter, from the last 3 or for releases, it has become almost impossible to use as the display gets totally confused as to what it is displaying i.e. blocks of picture.Please advise if I am missing something - I use CC and always up to date.

I have a Nikon D5600. Raw will not open these files. I've tried to update my CS6 Raw processsor but the update  continues to fail. The D5600 is a supported camera.

Grad filter loses alignment when dragged across image when using 'hand' icon. The alignment issue appears to increase if the 'hand' icon is grabbed off-center in the image. The alignment error appears to be in a small arc with the centre off the side moving according to where the handle is grabbed. I.e.; if the handle is grabbed in the center(ish) the misalignment is small, increasing as the grabbed position moves towards an edge of the image. The issue is inconsistent but repeatable.

Since the latest update to Camera Raw I cannot get a usable image in Camera Raw when accessing through Camera Raw Filter in Photoshop. When the camera raw screen appears it show squares of colour rather like large pixels but no image. Can anyone help please?

Olá, depois desta ultima atualização o ACR ficou com problema na imagem.... ta muito ruim... as cores não correspondem com as reais da foto. após clicar em abrir imagem para ir para o PS a imagem volta ao normal!!!! Se após manipular a foto no PS, abrir a mesma no ACR as cores distorcem novamente. Por favor, gostaria de uma solução.

I am unable to update my camera raw with photoshop elements 15. I check for the update under help, but I'm told that everything is up to date. Does anyone know the steps I need to update my camera raw so that I don't have to change my NEF's to DNG's in order for me to edit them?

What version of ACR is most recent for photoshop elements 15?  I see v9.12 but am told that it won't update using installer. RONC

Still using ACR 5.7 with PS CS4. I am confused about lens profiles... can they be added in 5.7?  I have searched this forum and it is unclear whether I can add lens profiles. I have run across information that the profiles of common lenses are included and the corrections are automatically applied.

All,I use Lightroom and Photoshop to create HDR images by "Merge to HDR Pro in Photoshop"I then would set the mode to 32 bit and click "tone in ACR", which would bring up ACR for that 32 bit smart object.After updating my Lightroom and Photoshop today, I run into a problem. Photoshop says "the command camera raw filter is currently not available" after I click tone in ACR. It seems as though ACR will no longer let me use it with 32 bit images....PLEASE HELP, this is how I do all of my professional work and need to resolve this ASAP. I have already tried reinstalling both Lightroom and Photoshop, and manually installing ACR to no avail.Thank you!

Just upgraded to Camera Raw 9.12 with the Photoshop CC and Windows 10.  Now when I use the CR filter, the file opens and looks like someone spilled water on a colored pencil drawing.  How do I uninstall this update and revert to the previous edition? 

I want to import and work with the RAW from my Sony a6000. It says it can’t import this version. How do I update so it will import these?

Now my Photoshop crashes every time I try to open a jpeg file. This never happened before with all the other updates. Is this just me or is this happening to anybody else with this update?

I am looking for an update to Photoshop Elements 15 Camera RAW. I have a Panasonic ZS70 that creates RAW2 file, I have done an update to Elements and it indicates that all the updates have been executed, when I display the version that I have it indicates is version Elements 15.0 and when I display About Plug ins for Camera Raw it display and indicates that I have version 9.10.0.739 and according to Cameras Supported by Camera RAW indicates that I need 9.10.1 So how and where can I get Elements to update the Camera Raw.?Any ideas anyone

Hello!First, sorry about my english, my language is portuguese.My cellphone is a Samsung Galaxy S6 and it take RAW photos in .DNG format. I took a photo of the Color Checker in .DNG, opened it on the DNG Profile Editor, set the 4 corners of the color checker at the tab "chart", and then click "creat color table..." button, exactly as I do do create the profiles for my Canon T3i and Canon 6D.But when I try to export the profile, NOTHING happens, the profile doesn't appear at the folder with the other profiles I have (C:\Users\Leandro\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles) neither appear at the profiles list on Lightroom.I also tried to import this .DNG from the cellphone on Lightroom and export again to DNG to make sure that isn't some problem with the file from the phone, but still have the same problem.Can someone helpme?

I took a couple of pictures at an event in camera raw but now that I look at the pictures, they seem blurred and others distorted. Can these images be salvaged?

Hello Everyone.I have the latest Creative Cloud. Inside Camera Raw, I have noticed when I Drag, and play with the Sliders, sometimes I see like Histogram, or some boxes pops up, I don't how to explain, it comes and goes quick, therefore, I cant take a screen-shot. how can I Disable that.Thanks.

When i use the crop tool, right after y finish selecting, the screen turns red and i cant keep working. I've done this a million times in other computers and this is the first time that i come across this issue. I didn't touch any kind of settings. Please help A screenshot so you can see:

I just updated camera raw and now when I open the filer in photoshop all my highlights are appearing muddy grayish blue and are showing as clipped even though the histogram is perfectly fine. What can be the problem. Is it a setting issue I can adjust?
