Hallo!Ich bin gerade glückliche Besitzerin einer Sony 99 II geworden. Lightroom 5, und auch 6 unterstützen das RAW Format nicht.- Gibt es eine Lösung, abgesehen von anderen Anbietern ?
It has been said here many times in the past that Bridge is rubbish for managing large numbers of images. I have about 35,000 (mostly raw) images and my workflow is based around Bridge and Camera Raw, and I have certainly noticed things getting a lot slower in recent years.Large selections (and collections) of images take an age to collate and update. Once you've got HQ thubnails and previews generated, their metadata needs to be compiled for the Filter panel, taking up to a minute. Adding or removing images from large (several thousand images) Collections similarly takes an age to execute. I recently split my collection into two distinct subject folder 'branches' in an attempt to speed up operations. This got me thinking about a few preconceptions I've had for many years. My images are mostly Raw (NEF) with XMP settings. I like this setup because settings are stored as separate files associated with their images, and are very portable. Besides, I'm not keen on the idea of a Camera Raw
I understand from the forum, that Adobe are not going to update Elements 14 to include the new Raw Converter, and the new version15does not include it either.Does anyone know if Adobe intends to include it in elements 15 and if so when.Gratefull for any infoGeoff Haynes

I recently uninstalled and reinstalled my PS CS6 program. I'm now unable to open new RAW files, and the Update feature in the Help section is grayed out. How can I fix this?
I recently purchased a Nikon D500. I do not have Adobe CC. With my Nikon D750 I have been using the converter to convert the NEF files to DNG's for use in my older version ( Photoshop CS5). I recently up dated to the latest Adobe DNG 9.1 and this WILL NOT convert the files from NEF to DNG. I get an error message. Please help.
Hello,i am a new user of Photoshop cc and camera raw 9.8. I am using a canon 7d and raw images. I can't work out why when opening certain images in CR i only see the highlights and shadows sliders sometimes. this is depending on the image i open (which are all raw) other times i get the recovery, fill light options.any assistance greatly appreciated.Stefano
I used to log in Adobe TV for tutorial (free) for CS6, with many evangelists, explaining the new features of CS6(e.g. adjustment brush...). Now it just disappeared. Where can I find them?
Hi. I'm trying to convert my RW2 files converted so that I can then use Photoshop Elements 9 to edit them. However, although I've downloaded the latest version of DNG converter (several times!), it still won't detect or recognise any of my RW2 files. Does anyone have any suggestions please? Thanks. Steve.
GH4 RW2 files. I shot the same target using different gh4 color profiles to test how they look with grading in adobe products. One was even taken in black and white. When i click on the files from my computer adobe photoshop camera raw opens up but ALL the images are showing the same color profile...even the black and white one comes in with full color! Even when i open them up directly inside of photoshop the color profiles are not being used.I did the same test in LR and i can see while importing into the LR library the difference in color in the thumbnails for a second or two, but then all of a sudden all 4 images are instantly changed to the same basic color profile.I understand that the RAW images are all the same at base level and a color profile is added as instructions for the software on how to view and handle them. So how come they are for an instant being seen and taken into effect but in a second later they are discarded and the base raw profile is th
basically what the title says. I saw a tutorial for lightroom 5 and it mention some tools beneath the histogram which mine doesn;t have. I am wondering if 1.4 has mask features somewhere else
Hi,I am trying to understand what is the relation between tag "AsShotNeutral" (from DNG 1.4.0.0, page 37: "AsShotNeutral specifies the selected white balance at time of capture, encoded as the coordinates of a perfectly neutral color in linear reference space values.") and the value of variable CameraNeutral, used in Chapter 6 to calculate the Camera to XYZ (D50) Transform:ReferenceNeutral = Inverse(AB * CC) * CameraNeutralD = Invert(AsDiagonalMatrix(ReferenceNeutral))CameraToXYZ_D50 = FM * D * Inverse(AB * CC)I assumed AsShotNeutral and CameraNeutral were one and the same, but would like to confirm that. For example, consider the following data, extracted from a real linear DNGfile:AnalogBalance = [1, 1, 1]AsShotNeutral = [0.641604, 1, 0.42088]CameraCalibration1 = CameraCalibration2 = [0.9465, 0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0.9773]ForwardMatrix1 = [0.7163, 0.1301, 0.1179, 0.1926, 0.9543, -0.1469, -0.0278, -0.3830, 1.2359]ForwardMatrix2 = [0.7239, 0.1838, 0.0566, 0.2467, 1.0246, -0.2713, -0.0112
Ok, so I'm trying to update camera raw and the icon has said "waiting..." for 24 hours now. any ideas?1/2 day laterWow this sucks. Cant work with images between LR and PS until i update Camera Raw and for 24 hours now the little icon in my CC says "waiting" - - - - > is there anybody here?
Hi,I am a new user to adobe family. I use adobe Bridge & Camera Raw to edit (crop & color grade) and everything is very slow. For example if i open the multiple files in ACR it takes almost 10 seconds to sharpen the image after i change it. Crop is very slow too. Any suggestions? My PC conf:Dell precision T362032GB RAMi7 6700Quadro k620SSD hdd with system and programsIts a clean install, i tried purge the cache and even change the cache folder.I tried with or without GPU support.Any help would be appreciated
I've set (numerous times) default settings I want ACR to apply when I import images from Photo Mechanic, mainly to do with white point and sharpening. After I set the sliders to the required levels I then click save default. I would expect ACR to apply the settings to all images that are imported automatically. Am I doing something wrong? I'm using two different camera bodies if this helps? Also 2 requests for ACR if Adobe are reading this?.1. Why are the 'tools' right over on the left of the screen? This doesn't make sense at all.2. I wish the crop tool would allow you to straighten the image using the corners and also have a center grab point like on Lightroom. Thanks[Moving from The Lounge to the Camera RAW forum. - Moderator]
类似这种情况应如何解决,不止出现在下面,不规则分布
Long time no see!The last few versions of ACR have given us Transform Guides. You use these to draw along actual horizontal and vertical edges to straighten perpective distortion. They're great. My problem starts when I have spent a few minutes carefully lining these up on an image, and then decide to apply an ACR preset. The guides disappear and the distortion returns. This is still the case in ACR 9.8.Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?
When will this happen?
DNG Converter (9.8, but earlier also) appears to always load into the converted DNG file one of the custom .dcp profiles available for the camera in the ...\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles directory. The only way I have found to make it load the default profile (which I assume is Adobe Standard) into the .DNG file is to delete all custom profiles for the camera from the directory. I need these DNG files for purposes other than LR/ACR.Is there a way to control whether to load a custom .dcp profile and, if so, which one of those available in ...\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles?
This title is a little clearer and hopefully will attract people who work on DNG Converter.DNG Converter (I am using 9.8 but it did this earlier as well) appears to always load into the converted .DNG file one of the custom .dcp profiles available for the camera in the ...\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles directory. The only way I have found to make it load the default profile (which I assume is Adobe Standard) into the .DNG file is to delete all custom profiles for the camera from that directory. That's a pain because I then need to put them back in there whenever I do want to use them with ACR.For reference, here is a screenshot of the never-opened, just converted .DNG file as read by exifTool showing my custom .dcp profile in place of Adobe's default (note illuminant, matrix and name):I need these DNG files to be standalone in order to be processed by programs other than LR/ACR. How can one tell DNG Converter to load default profile information in the converted DNG?
I recently bought a Lenovo Yoga 900 PC featuring UltraHD screen and reinstalled my Elements 10 software. Everything works fine except that all characters are microscopic, like divided in size by two according to the higher resolution. I could not fine an option to increase size of characters (like doubling the pixels). Is there a clue to solve the issue with Elements 10, or is the issue fixed in Elements 15 (it could be natural as more and more PC feature UltraHD screen)?
I have a single monitor. I use PS Bridge 2017 as my images organizing software.I usually do several clients a day and then in the evenings, I work these files.I shoot everything in RAW.Part of my work flow is to adjust everything in Bridge. Then I click "Tools> Photoshop> Image Processor". I set it and then run it......As a result, Photoshop OPENS on the TOP of my desktop. Images OPEN and CLOSE as PS does the RAW PROCESS.AT THIS POINT, I want to be working on the next set of images in Bridge, HOWEVER I cannot because PS FORCES itself to the TOP as it does the raw conversion. So, I have to WAIT until it is done...the start the process all over again. THUS my question:How To: Keep PS in the Background during Raw ConversionKirk Voclain
