I have the latest version of ACR. I use a Wacom pen as well as a mouse. I have the setting to use my GPU. I try to us Generative AI and I only get a rectangle with both the pen and the mouse. I tried right click, I tried closeing the program and restarting. I do not see an overlay, I cannot brush anything. There is just the rectangle. How do I fix this?
Following updating to the current versions, opening a Sony ARW file in camera raw set to sRGB displays the colors as oversaturated (not color managed). Immediately opening the file, with no edits, in photoshop displays the colors correctly (workspace: sRGB) on a windows 11 HDR-on system. If I apply Camera Raw as a filter to the image in PS, the colors are once again oversaturated/incorrect when displayed in ACR. Enabling/disabling GPU acceleration has no effect on this issue. I did not have this problem in November. I'm not sure which Dec update broke for me.

Hi Adobe, Masking in Camera raw and Lightroom is great, especially the possibility to combine selections (with +Add, -Substract). However, it has been my long time frustration of slow down performance of the application when combining/stacking complex masks based on several AI powered "obect select" or "select people", "select background" and similar. Feature request: please add possibility to "flatten", "merge selections", you name it, stacked selections into single masks. In UI ith can be next to "invert mask". In other words for instance instaed of: Mask1 +Select subject +Select object - Substract background +Select People -Substruct gradient ... etc merge mask!: Mask1 +Merged mask Save the planet from overheating by our PCs. Thank you

Hi,since the latest version (using masks) i cannt get the brushes (camera raw) to work. Objects , radials, linears, etc works fine. It is just the brushes does do what i want.Is there a simple intructions on how to use the brushes? regards Jan
This Idea would make creating day to night Timelapse Raw-Processing very easy in CameraRaw-Converter.To create a time-lapse from day to night, you have to regularly adjust the aperture or exposure time or ISO value. This results in a sharp change in brightness from one image to the next, which would lead to flickering in the final time-lapse video. To compensate for this change, I look for the exact images in RawConverter where I made the change. Now I adjust the brightness of the respective images. To get a smooth transition, I have to manually enter the exposure value from the following images. For example:Image 1 exposure -35, image 2 exposure -34, image 3 exposure -33, etc. So how about a simple function where I could enter exposure -35 for image 1 and exposure 0 for image 35, for example, and the images in between automatically make the brightness transition from -35 to 0. And the same for the color correction. It would save so much time and would certainly make a lot of time-laps
Alguém conseguiria me ajudar?
Hi All,In Camera Raw Under Optics, Profile, Use Profile Corrections, the "Use Profile Corrections" used to automatically find my Nikon lenses whenever I opened a RAW file. Now I have to initiate it with every file. I shoot mainly in RAW so this is quite annoying. Is there a way to have it automatically open the Use Profile Corrections and find my lenses? If you have an answer I will be eternally grateful. Regards, Scottish HorseLady
Good morning, I have a problem with Camera Raw. When opening .ORF files, the edges of the images are cropped, both horizontally and vertically: so, part of the photo is lost! I checked the Camera Raw cutter and it is set to maximum. My camera is an OM System OM 1 Mark II. The image format is 4/3. The inconvenience is definitely unpleasant, I don't know how to remove the malfunction that does not allow Camera Raw to correctly manage the images from my camera. Can somebody help me? Thank you
Camera Raw 14.0.1.952 Clicking on the gear icon to access the Workflow options where I want to use and create a preset that applies true neutral black & white vs the default Monochrome option which is still an RGB image with irregular RGB values. When I select Color Space, the dropdown menu of profile choices doesn't list Grayscale or Gamma 2.2 which will cut out all color. Is there a way to add a profile or a better way to get a Grayscale?
Hi,when i use the brush on slecting parts of the picture and i move over the picture and click to selct the brush changes to a square en the picture zooms in.What did i do wrong. regard Jan
Can someone please help. Since my latest Adobe update I cannot access my saved settings on camera raw. I believe they are in my Appdata/roaming/adobe file, but there seems to be no way to access this. Is it a hidden file? They used to come up automatically, but now it just accesses a general file folder which does not have the .xmp files in them.
I bought a Sony A7iv in December and I have had constant issues editing photos in lightroom/camera raw. I am running the current version of camera raw (11.1 Camera Raw 14.1) and shooting uncompressed raw files in the camera. The issue I'm having is whenever I add clarity or boost the shadows or boost the exposure, I begin to get hundreds of white pixels in the shadows of the image to the point of being unpublishable. I've made sure I'm not shooting in any picture profiles and DRO is off in the camera. I've called both Sony and Adobe support. Sony had me open the raw files Imaging Edge - their proprietary software - and the issue didn't show up so they told me the won't help me. Adobe said can't do anything but the issue might get resolved whenever camera raw is updated. As a final test, I opened the images in Capture 1 and the white pixels aren't their but the image is so soft I wouldn't consider the image usable. I've attached screen captures and a .jpg export
In previous versions of ACR, I was able to use the trackpad/scroll wheel to navigate an image while using the adjustment brush tool. This was especially useful when zoomed in for detail work. However, in version 12.3 the trackpad only adjusts the size of the brush. There does not seem to be any way to navigate the image without switching to the hand tool, which unselects the current adjustment layer. Is there a way to revert to the original trackpad/scroll wheel behavior or a way to keep the adjustment layer selected after switching to the hand tool?

When closing a file from camera raw through bridge, no changes are saved and the message reads "unable to save raw conversion" and "the file could not be created. I have given bridge and photoshop full disc access with no results. This just started happening out of seemingly nowhere.
Hi All, Latest versions of Photoshop and Bridge. 16'MBP M! Max, MacOS Sonoma 14.5 Opened and done any edit on any image in ACR today, then press on 'Done" button, and have this dialog pop on the screen. Ive done research, see this happened already in the years past, but the fix I found there (Bridge and Photoshop have full disk access in Privacy Settings (System Preferences) didnt work. Ive restarted Bridge and Photoshop and teh computer, no change. Does someone knwo how to fix this?
The new denoise feature is certainly a step forward with its adjustable levels, but I’ve encountered a frustrating drawback. Whenever I use the denoise function, it prompts me to "Update AI Settings," which takes an unnecessarily long time. Worse, it often disrupts my brush edits and mask settings in the process. When editing over 100 photos, even minor adjustments to masks, brushes, or denoise settings trigger long waiting times—sometimes up to 10 minutes for a batch to process. Despite using a Dell XPS 17 with an RTX 3060, which isn’t top-of-the-line but fairly capable, these delays are difficult to manage. My current workaround is reverting to Camera Raw 16.5, where I can apply denoise to all photos at once, export the DNG files, and work on them without delays. However, this limits access to the generative expand feature, making it a trade-off.It would be incredibly helpful to have the option to enable or disable the adjustable denoise level feature, offering flexibility for differen
On the latest Lightroom Classic release version 13.5 there is a new lens profile (v3) for the Canon 24-240 lens. It has reintroduced the "bad borders" bug. Workaround is simply to select the older v2 profile.
Hello, I encountered a problem: when editing one photo, I went into crop mode with the grid turned on and after that this grid got stuck in crop mode with no way to cancel, the cross and repeated clicking on the grid in the lower right corner do not give any result, I restarted the computer, reinstalled Photoshop and this did not fix anything, how can I get rid of this grid and return the standard one with the rule of thirds? Hola buenas, estoy presentando errores para usar camera raw.Tengo una 4060, ¿alguien sabría solucionar esto? adjunto foto:
I recently purchased an OM Systems OM-1 mark II camera. The camera is capable of creating high resolution photos (80 MP files) using the cameras native 20MP sensor. It creates the high res files by taking mulitple shots and merging them (in camera) to create a single high res image. Unfortunatly Lightroom Classic does not seem to be able to import these high res files. The normal resolution files transfer with no issue, it's only the 80MP high resolution images which won't transfer.
