Hi, sorry to bother, recently i decided to updated my photoshop to the 2023, and even try the beta, but having difficulties to the complex hud of the "new" camera raw, i used to work fine with the 12_2_1. I tried to revert my current version to it but at this point Photoshop 2023 and even the Beta format doesn't work. Do you know if there's a way or I'm just stucked with the new version? I have big difficulties to adapt to the interface. Thanks in advance for any help or suggestion.
Muchas gracias, anticipadas
Currently, the preset amount slider does not affect calibration, but it did before, this makes almost all of my preset useless because I and many other photographers use the calibration tab for stylistic purposes, and being unable to adjust the intensity quickly interferes with our workflow.
In the Lightroom version of ACR there is the ability to get L*a*b* readouts (Dev module: in addition or instead of RGB) could it be possible to implement the same functionality in the stand alone version of ACR (the one used inside Br and Ps)? It will be very usedful and would allow to do the same measurments and color adjustments without having to be inside the Lr catalog system. I hope people find this suggestion useful and also hope that the implementation is a simple one since (to my understanding) the architecture of ACR and Lr Dev module is very similar. Thanks for your attention to this posting and look forward to any feedback.
Hey thereSince Photoshop 2020 updated automatically, and I can seem to to revert to the previous version, my VSCO presets are missing from Camera Raw via Bridge. When I go to the folder where I copied my orginal presets, they still show there, but they still don't show in ACR. Is there any reason for this? Or any tips for restoring the presets to ACR?I am using a MacBook Pro, Photoshop 2020 and Camera Raw 12.1 Thanks
hello, it's the first time I encounter this problem. The first time I edit 10-20 photos in camera raw and then the application crashes, now I looked at the activity manager and I see that camera raw uses 15-18 gb of ram for raw editing, until now it was taking up around 5-8 gb of ram. I haven't made any changes to the settings so far, there would be no reason for this situation to happen. Please help me with an advice. Thank you

Hi everyone, recently I switched from Nikon D800 to Nikon Z6II. In doing so, I noticed an unusual and new bug when using Camera Raw. Basically, when I create an HDR in DNG format through Lightroom and then open it in Camera Raw, the program loses the lens profile setting, usually set to automatic, for recognizing the lens used and correcting distortion. I have to manually re-select "automatic" to see the lens correction applied. With the same workflow before using the Nikon D800, this issue didn't occur. I'm not sure if it's related to the camera that generates the images or if it's due to a recently released version of Camera Raw. For the record, when I open individual files in Camera Raw before creating the HDR through Lightroom, the lens used is recognized and the correction is automatically applied. The problem only arises with the HDR DNG created in Lightroom and then opened in Camera Raw. I hope someone can resolve this bug. Thank you.

after updating photoshop , when i opened it for the first time there was option to use camera raw as it is (vertical film) or to change it to new UI (with new look and horizontal filmstrip ), i just clicked new UI to see how it looks , i thought if i dont like it i will just go back to using older UI but there is no option to select older UI , i contacted adobe but person who was helping me just suggested that i should install older version of camera raw or ask for help from this forum , i found it bit frustrating that if there was simple option to choose new UI so why not give option to revert back to older UI with newly updated software. maybe its bug or adobe forcing people to use new UI even if they dont like it
Hi all,When we have Photoshop open, go to Help> GPU compatibility... >We are getting an error message within Adobe Photoshop 2023 stating “Your graphics processor is incompatible: x OpenCl unavailable x DirectX unavailable x Insufficient VRAM: (0 MB of 1500 MB required) - OpenGL available GPU Detected: Unknown GPU (UNKNOWN)" How can we get the GPU to be recognized by Photoshop, please? Same thing happens when using using ACR in Photoshop. Flashing goes away when disabling GPU under Performance tab in Preference, making editing painfully slow however. Hello everyone, for some time I have a problem with CameraRaw. As soon as I open it my fans start up and the processor goes up to 400/600% occupancy. The GPU is almost never used (about 1%). So Camera slows down incredibly and with each modification on a photo there is a huge latency time which means that I can hardly work anymore. I'm on an Imac 5k 27" i7 32gb / SSD 256gb / Radeon R9 M395. My graphics card is well recognized by Adobe. I don't understand. Help 🙂
Danke für Eure Inputs-----ood day, I process my vacation pictures first with Camera Raw and then they are processed in PS. Mostly I use in PS the automatisms of image corrections like: Brightness, Tone, Gradation and Contrast. Also the lens correction as well as the alignment. Saving is done via : File - Export - Export as!
This long time Lightroom bug had been a thorn in my side for many years now, but have not seen other posts about it. I often clone out the color chart out of an image after using it to set WB and Exposure. Sometimes though, just turning clone on/off or updating the spot changes the tone of the entire image!! Does not matter if it's regular clone, heal, or content aware just cloning out the color chart changes the tone of the whole image, this is definitely not how clone is supposed to work! This seems to be linked to any use of the Clarity slider, whether it's inside a mask or global, using the clone tool resets anything in lightroom using clarity to 0! Seems to happen more on nearly white images, but is extremely annoying to my work-flow not being able to use clarity and the clone tool simultaneously, and having to make a separate tiff in photoshop just to do a single spot heal on an image. Please fix this bug, it has been
So, as one community expert said to an unsolved problem, that it was solved and we should make a new post and locked the old one, I am making another, which will again be in vain as there is no way this will be solved, but let's try anyway, shall we? Mac OS 12.5.1, M1 iMacPhotoshop 24.1Camera RAW 15.1.1while trying to use ACR filter on a smart object, it gets stuck with this:Clicking the cancel button on this progress bar dialog does nothing (makes the OS error sound), actions in the Camera Raw dialog dont work as everything is greyed out and this window does not have focus. Tips and suggestions mentioned in previous thread DO NOT WORK and it started happening only a few days ago, on the newest photoshop and camera raw.
Hi, I had a previous post https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-bugs/photoshop-crashing-whenever-i-try-to-upload-a-photo-from-the-device/idc-p/13885902#M86575 Sooner or later i found out it's also about Camera Raw. While i try to open jpeg, png doesnt matter. And also i check camera raw filter is also crashing PS. I can't even click Camera Raw settings, it's keep crashing in the second i click. I did a lot of stuff, including changing some PS settings, i uninstall whole creative cloud and reinstall, i install older versions of PS etc. but nothing helps... I'm trying for 2 days to fix this problem and nothing helps. I have to use PS pretty often in next days, so i have fix it asap. Is there anyone can help me? Thank u.
Good day!I originally posted this issue in the PhotoShop forum but it is a issue related to Camera Raw.That thread is here...https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/driver-update-recommended-but/td-p/13885904The issue is when I was using the Enhance feature I would get these errors... I then went into PhotoShop to perform a Grahpics Processor Check I found the latest driver and updated it and ran the check again Tried Enhance again and received the same results. I am not sure what the issue is. I am using the latest version of Camera Raw and my system is up to date. I have 16gb of ram and using Win 10 Pro. The processor is Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10510U CPU @ 1.80GHz, 2304 Mhz, 4 Cores(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)I have tried a number of solutions but none of them have worked. Could it be that the Nividia GeForce MX250 just isn't good enough? Or is this a bug? I have had similar issues in the past and then suddenly no more issues (probably after an update). Is it beca
What has happened to linear point curve its missing in ACR v15.3.1.1455, did they discontinued it?In my photoshop i only see parametric curve, not point curve! This is screeenshot from internet in case you now sure what i am talking about. Edit: never mind found it.
Hi, photoshop freezes when I open a raw file
I want to see what settings are used in lens profile for my particular lens. I found .lcp file on my computer that is lens profile correction file from Adobe Lens Profile Creator, however i cannot load it in the software to see the actual settings used. Is there any way to see what degree of adjustments are used in the lens profile?
Apologies for posting this in the Lounge but I'm not sure of the best category otherwise. Please move it as appropriate. I have a Canon EF 70-200L f/4 USM zoom. This is the non-IS original version of the lens. Per Adobe it's supported but I can't find its LCP file anywhere in the free DNG Converter installation on Windows 11. I know where to look -- C:\ProgramData\Adobe\CameraRaw\LensProfiles\1.0\Canon -- it's just not there. There's one for the IS Mk II version (Canon EF 70-200mm f4L IS II USM) - RAW.lcp) and another apparently specifically for the 5D (Canon EOS 5D Mark II (Canon EF 70-200mm f4L USM) - RAW.lcp), but I shoot a T8i / 850D. The others I found are for the f/2.8 version of the lens. I've tried using the existing profiles but empirically they don't appear to do a very good job, not surprisingly. For example, depending on focal length they both under- and over-correct vignetting. Are there any other legit / legal sources for LCP files? Thanks.
I do not want to convert all of my .ARW (Sony A99 II) to DNG. Should I set up a seperate folder and copy the files I wish to convert into that and then save the converted files in the same (or another new) folder?
