Camera Raw

i've a relatively new imac w/latest versions of camera raw and PS on it.  i have the hdr setting checked.  however, when i open an image from LRC and click filter, camera raw, that hdr button does not appear. thanks for any help.

 Camera Raw 15.4.1Mac OS Ventura 13.4.1 This is a dng image, composed from two HEIC images, to make a panorama. The image is cropped by the crop being constrained to image. I want to save it as a jpeg. Here is the dialog:  Now, here are the two images. The jpeg has been saved as a full image, with empty areas included: I've been constructing panoramas like this for years. Some panoramas are still saving correctly, but some aren't. Has anyone got any idea what's going on here? I can open the saved jpeg, crop it correctly, and it will then save properly -- but that isn't a sensible solution. Is it something to do with Camera Raw and .dng files? Many thanks!

Hi, can anyone tell me how to show the symbol on filmstrip thumbnails to show that images have had edits made? It seems to have disappeared after updating to latest version..

Hello,Photo Downloader is offering me two of the same camera, Z8 #1 and Z8 #2. The first  one downloads very quickly from RAW Lossless Compression and gives me vertical images in black and white. The second one downloads more slowly but correctly. Why is this happening and how can I remove the first one?

I want to integrate XMP files into my RAW file. I don't want to use two files. I'm using Bridge for Camera Raw.Can anyone help me &#x1f605?  

While waiting for Adobes recommendations for "GPU requirement coming soon for photo editing". https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/acr-gpu-faq.html  I came across this recent recommendations from Nvidia: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/studio/software/ It contains recommendations for Nvidia GPUs for many Adobe applications, including Lightroom Classic and Photoshop. The recommendations for the new AI (sensei) based features are included. Thought this may be of interest for the Community, particularly for people considering updating their computers. 

I have both Photoshop (24.5.0) and Photoshop Beta (24/7/) installed on my system. The Beta was installed after Photoshop itself, but with CC monitoring and updating I am no longer sure which is the latest version. As a general rule I use Bridge to process images and so the sequence with double-clicking raw images has been Bridge -> ACR -> Photoshop Beta until recently. Suddenly ACR (or Bridge, I don't really know which) has changed the sequence to Bridge -> ACR -> Photoshop. For some reason if I use a tiff instead of a raw image I get the proper sequence of Bridge -> Photoshop Beta. I first checked to see if I still had the problem if I specified what to use by right-clicking on the image in Bridge, but that process still works and if I specify the Beta the ACR opens the image in the Beta. But if I just double-click then ACR opens in Photoshop. The Bridge file associations specify that my raw images should open in the Beta, but they don't unless I specify. I tr

Al abrir el Raw en ACR, durante un segundo se muestra bien y después aparece ruido por zonas.Se adjuntan capturas de pantalla desde ACR y FOTOS.  Se puede ver en ellas que se ha aplicado "reducción de ruido", manual. (Previamente lo había intentado con "mejorar-IA, sin resultado: en ese momento creía que toda la fotografía tenía el mismo problema. Lo ví al ampliar al 100 % y ver distintas partes de la imagen).Después comprobé Fotos, aplicación que uso en lugar de Bridge para previsuallizar y decidir si editar o no,y comprobé con ampliación al 110 % que no había ruido alguno , como puede verse en la captura de pantalla.

Hi, I have been cropping the image in PS and then opening the same in ACR to edit to date.But since yesterday, whenever I open the cropped image from PS in ACR, it opens the original full image and not the cropped image. How can I fix this? Please help

Could you please tell me how I get my new Nikon Z8 to show up in the Camera Raw Preferences under Raw Defaults?  There are no camera models listed whether I am in Adobe Default or Camera Settings. Thank you.

Why doesnt Camera Raw support my Nvidea geforce GTX 1660 super GPU? Camera Raw preferences -> Performance. Says it's not supported. I've updated my graphic card with latest drivers from Nvidea and the card meets the required specs. Do I have a problem with the future versions of Camera Raw that require GPU support?

I desperately need assistance!Almost every time I try to open a RAW file (either CR2 or CR3) Photoshop will crash.  This has only started happening in the past month or so. I'm running PS CC24.6 and ACR 15.4. My Nvidia drivers are Studio versions and up to date. I have 16GB or RAM. Opening a jpeg file is no problem whatsoever - it's just RAW that seems to be causing the issue.There is one weird thing - sometimes I can open and edit the fiiles no problem - others it just crashes in an instant.As a freelance photographer I really need Photoshop and the benefits that ACR brings to be 100% reliable, but if I cant find out what is causing the problem, I will need to switch to a different software package.   I hope someone can help me!Many thanksJeremy

mine having this problem only when opening jpegs on camera raw ( any version 13-15 ) , straight RAW files eg CR3 seems normal , but as soon as i saved it to jpeg and reopen camera raw the problem occur again , the editing is normal only no GPU acceleration . . . could this be a gpu driver error ? im using latest amd drivers . . .or maybe wait until fix ? thanks  using latest update of win 10 22h2 and amd gpu driver

App Versions are the latest stable releases. Adobe Bridge 13.0.3.693 Adobe Camera Raw 15.4.1.1510 Adobe Photoshop 24.6.0   Lenovo Laptop running Windows 11 Home 10.0.22621 Build 22621 Dedicated GPU: nvidia Geforce RTX 4060 Laptop - Driver Version 31.0.15.3640 CPU:  i7-13700HX - 16 Core   Problem: Accessing Adobe Camera Raw Preferences in Adobe Bridge won't recognize the RTX 4060 dedicated graphics card instead only shows the integrated graphics on the Intel processor. This is problematic as using any heavy processes in Adobe Camera Raw through Bridge doesn't utilize the dedicated graphics card.   If we move over to Photoshop, and open Adobe Camera Raw Preferences...the RTX 4060 shows up as an option. Same program, same version. Just in Adobe Bridge, it won't give me the option to choose the 4060.   Performing a GPU check in Adobe Photoshop does not change the process or result. Hola a todxs!! Estoy con un problema al utilizar la reducción de ruido con IA con Camera Raw(Ultima versión). Cuando inicio el proceso de reducción el computador se reinicia sin aviso y tampoco genera adobe algún informe de error. Este error es intermitente porque he podido hacer el proceso con algunas fotos, pero desde ya hace dos días se congela y se reinicia el computador. Probe en Lightroom el mismo proceso y el resultado es el mismo pero no se reinicia la mac solo sale un mensaje de error con la foto pero no da ningun codigo de error "Error desconocido". ¿Que puedo hacer? ¿Alguien mas con lo mismo?, Saludos!!!

With the most recent updates to Bridge/PS/ACR, some of my presets have disappeared from Camera RAW.  The actual files are still in the correct folder, but are no longer recognized by ACR.  If I try to load them manually, I get the following error: Unable to load raw conversion settings.  The Camera Raw settings in the selected ".XMP" metadata file are not compatible with this image.Very frustrating since I use many of these presets.  Any suggestions on how to make them compatible again?

Hi, sorry to bother, recently i decided to updated my photoshop to the 2023, and even try the beta, but having difficulties to the complex hud of the "new" camera raw, i used to work fine with the 12_2_1. I tried to revert my current version to it but at this point Photoshop 2023 and even the Beta format doesn't work. Do you know if there's a way or I'm just stucked with the new version? I have big difficulties to adapt to the interface.Thanks in advance for any help or suggestion.

Supongoque corresponde al área seleccionadoa/editable tras aplicar la herramienta seleccionar objetotras enmarcar un espacio con el rectángulo de la misma. Antes solamente aparecía el rombo azul. Por otra parte, tampoco sé cómo eliminar el coloreado que aparece. In the Lightroom version of ACR there is the ability to get L*a*b* readouts (Dev module: in addition or instead of RGB) could it be possible to implement the same functionality in the stand alone version of ACR (the one used inside Br and Ps)? It will be very usedful and would allow to do the same measurments and color adjustments without having to be inside the Lr catalog system. I hope people find this suggestion useful and also hope that the implementation is a simple one since (to my understanding) the architecture of ACR and Lr Dev module is very similar. Thanks for your attention to this posting and look forward to any feedback. 

Hey thereSince Photoshop 2020 updated automatically, and I can seem to to revert to the previous version, my VSCO presets are missing from Camera Raw via Bridge. When I go to the folder where I copied my orginal presets, they still show there, but they still don't show in ACR. Is there any reason for this? Or any tips for restoring the presets to ACR?I am using a MacBook Pro, Photoshop 2020 and Camera Raw 12.1 Thanks
