Camera Raw

Asensin sekä pöytäkoneeseen että kannettavaan uuden Elements 2032 että Camera Raw tiedoston. Tämän jälkeen Lightroon versio 6 ei enään suostunut käynnistymään kummassakaan koneessa. Miksi ei, se toimi vielä oikein Elements 2021:n kanssa?

Hey, I cannot load more than ~2000 RAW files into Photoshop (2022 and 2023) at once whereas if I try in 2021 it works just fine (easily converted 10,000 photos at once many times). A blank error message is shown and the app hangs. To reproduce, drag over 3000+ RAW files into PS and wait for the Camera Raw popup (or the blank error message). My RAW files are .ARW's from A7R4  Win 10, 3970X, 256gb, RTX 3090

I recently bought the Nikon D750. I cannot edit my photos in CS5 because the camera raw is not supporting that camera. Can anyone please advice?

Is there a way to invert negative images in camer raw? I use my DSLR to photograph negatives in raw format.

Hello,   I don't use Bridge, I use Aperture 3 to organize my photos.  I use the "edit with photoshop" function to send the photos to photoshop.  When I do this though, my raw files do not automatically open with camera raw, as they would if I just opened them through photoshop itself.    How can I open the camera raw plugin from within photoshop?  or How can I tell aperture to open the files with camera raw before opening photoshop?   Thanks,Kevin Mastman

Hi everybody,running Camera Raw 15.2.0.1381 on Windows 11, with Radeon RX 6600 (updated).After the last two camera Raw updates (Photoshop already downgraded, to no avail), the Contextual Menu Hints are displayed as white , with no detectable writings.the menu in the right column daoesn't even appear.See attached images

It's been a while since I used camera raw, but i noticed mine had updated recently. I go in and start playing with presets and I just can't make any sense of how they work. So...there's a long list of them  - Adaptive: portrait- Adaptive: sky etc.  I hover over one and see the histogram change, hover over another and see it change again. Move back to teh previous once and its diferent again.  Like it seems to apply its effects totally at random so presets have totally random impacts on the picture. And if I click two am I adding two? There's nothing in the UI to indicate that X preset has been applied or that I can, I don't know, take it off maybe.  It's incredibly confusing what on earth they're doing. Whcih is a shame because some of them are really nice, but it appears to be an absolute pain to get them to do something predictably. What am I missing? 

I have a PSD file with some layers. At the top is a hidden group of layers. The first visible layer is an smart object. If I try to open the smart object with Camera Raw, Camera Raw and PS crashes 😞If I delete the hidden group an open than the smart object with Camera Raw, everything is working fine 🙂The error is reproduceable! I attachted to videos. One with the crash an one were everything is working fine.I'm using PS v24.2 and CR v15.2

I'm using Photoshop CC 20.0.4 ACR 11.2.0.135 Mac OS 10.13.6I downloaded Adobe DNG Converter 11.2.1 (159) and it apparently doesn't recognize CR2 files, which are grayed out.Please advise.Tom

Hello, recently I'm getting a few of these, in no order or pattern it seems, just on occasion, but ruining multiple images. I'm shooting Sony raw, and transfering from my SD card onto a G-drive. Then after opening the file in Camera Raw from the harddrive, this purple bar is appearing. If I go and open the image from the SD card, it's gone, so something is happening in the transfer. Someone I transfer the files and don't really look at them, end up formatting my card, and then am stuck with this. Can anyone help?   

How can you get a previous version of  Camera RAW? I am having problems with the latest version of photoshop and need to go back to the previous version but when I uninstall the current version and install the previous version it brings in the latest version of camera raw and that one doesn't work. The previous one worked just fine.

I have a version of Adobe DNG Converter, but it will not open my Sony A1 files Will the latest version of Adobe DNG Converter open the Sony A1 files / window 10If so, will someone please provide a link to the download  Much appreciated !!!  

I have trouble opening a RAW file (.raf) in Camera Raw from Bridge, to then make an edit in Photoshop. What pops up when trying is a text box showing "Camera Raw editing requires that a qualifying product has been licensed". I have an active Photoplan licens, so it shouldn't be a problem. I have tried solutions such as:- closing down Bridge- opening Bridge through Photoshop.. but with no luck.  What do I do?  I am working from a MacBook Pro 14 M1, and all apps are up to date

14.4 version is missing Brightness slider. Is this because of similarities with Exposure slider, hence the removal. 

This is so frustrating. I'm a full-time photographer on a $6,000 Windows 10 laptop. Historically, ACR opens very fast for me. Yesterday, out of left field and for seemingly no reason at all, ACR now opens slow, and will crash multiple times during an editing session. I've been searching for answers and going through old support threads...no idea why this is happening but issues like this sure are a common theme for working professionals who entrust their time to Adobe (I've lost a dozen hours at least so far this year troubleshooting this and other PS or Premier issues.) Any pointers on where I should be looking here? Does ACR create a crash log with any usable data? Any helps is appreciated.

Hello, I use an Apple Macbook with Retina display. When using various types of software, Photoshop included, with a bluetooth mouse, I have a more or less constant scroll correspondence between all applications except Camera Raw. On it I have thumbnails set vertically to the left of the screen and scrolling through them is very awkward because everything seems to move much slower than all the other activities I run on the Mac, to scroll just a couple of thumbnails I have to spin the mouse wheel numerous times. This also happens when vertically scrolling the image you are working on zoomed to 100%, but to a much lesser extent. The operating system settings do not correct this behavior because they affect all mouse/trackpad behavior, thus compensating for Camera Raw, everything else is unusable.Is there a solution/setting internal to Camera Raw to solve the problem or should I wait for some kind of bugfix?

Hi!I have noticed that after installing Camera Raw 15.1 with my PS 2023, the psd files that I usually save duing my work became 3-4 times larger in size, and the save time of psd files became very slow. Usually my files are around 100-150mb, but after they became 400-500mb. Originally I thought it had something to do with the PS version, but after doing several tests and trying different settings, I realized that downgrading to Camera Raw 14.5 was the solution for my issue. My psd files went back to the original smaller size and the save time of psd files became a lot faster.Something that I wanted to bring up and see if anyone else experienced this issue.I am currently using PS v 24.1.1 on macOS Ventura 13.2.1. 

I've been playing around with the HDR feature in ACR and the biggest problem I'm having is figuring out how to actually view the HDR images after I save them as AVIF files.  Loading them into Preview on the Mac just shows a flat SDR image, and loading them into Google Chrome does show an HDR image, but it's nowhere near as "HDR" as it appeared in Photoshop or ACR.  The highlights are much dimmer and areas that I allowed to get blown out suddely appear correct.  It is as though Chrome is knocking the exposure or at least highlites of the image down to reduce the brightness.  Like I said, however, it's still in HDR - way better than the obvious SDR version, but it doesn't look anything like what I see in Photoshop. I'm doing this all on my MacBook Pro with 1600nits peak brightness.  Any idea what may be happening?  Are there other apps for the Mac that support HDR AVIF files?  I wonder if they'll look the same.  I don't know if the issue is wi

Hello! Mac Studio M1 Max after upgrading to Ventura 13.0.1 noticed such a thing. Photoshop 24 starts normally, but when you try to open any file (no matter raw or jpeg), it crashes. Presumably this is due to Camera Raw 15, since downgrading to 13 can open files without crashing. Also Lightroom 12.1 does not even start, it immediately crashes. Someone faced a similar problem? At the same time, on a MacBook Air M1 on Ventura 13.0.1, Photoshop and Lightroom work fine. Maybe the problem is in the camera is equal to 15 and Apple M1 Max? And when you manage to open a file with version 13 of the camera raw and try to make enhanced detailing, an inscription appears that my video card (and this is on a mac studio) is not compatible with the metal chip. Maybe there are owners of mac studio who can help me? 

Hi there,I have been using adobe photoshop 2020 & lightroom for many years for my own hobby. But in recent months I have notice when I go to use the Camera Raw to edit my photos in Photoshop 2020 it always rotates my images vertically. Which is annoying when trying to edit landscape images.I have tried the CRTL + L or R keys but nothing happens. There is no crop tool available either.I thought about downloading an older version of Camera raw when it use to work.
