Camera Raw

When creating a radial filter in Camera Raw and letting go of mouse there are no handles to adjust just the overlay area  

During the last tour of Cornwall I set the camera to 16:9 format which I now regret. I assumed that having downloaded in RAW that I would have all the data from the whole sensor. Certainly the file size is the same whether I set 16:9 or 4:3, 22.95 MB. However the number of pixels for 16:9 is 5184 x 2920 and the number of pixels for 4:3 is 5184 x 3888. But I cannot find anywhere in Lightroom to change the format without losing pixels by cropping. Am I right in thinking that I have all the data in the RAW file (.RW2)? Is there any way you know that I can access the 4:3 format for the photos I shot in 16:9 without cropping and losing more pixels?

Hello,I noticed today that as soon as I send a RAW file (.cr2) from Lightroom to Photoshop for editing (Photo -> Edit in -> Edit in Adobe Photoshop CC 2022), it always has a blue tint. The same happens when I directly try to open a RAW file in Photoshop and Camera Raw is opened there.The pictures were taken with a Canon EOS 60 D. Photoshop, Lightroom and Camera Raw are up to date (versions 23.0.2, 11.0.1, 14.0.1, on Windows 10). I should also mention that the problem no longer exists after conversion to a TIFF. Does anyone perhaps have the same phenomenon and could tell me if I may have accidentally set a preset somewhere? However, I am not aware of anything except that there had been an update from Adobe in the last few days. But a downgrade from Photoshop and Lightroom to the previous version also showed no change. HiAfter the last update every time I open a jpg into Camera Raw then in to PS I get a window saying it's an "unrecognised format" I repeat the process and it opens up?? weird bug, or is it jiust me and my PS? 

The Masking and Color Grading Tools are missing in camera raw. I have the latest versions of Photoshop and camera raw. 

When editing in ACR and go to hit save I get the message under status "this image could not save" I've tried everything that I could think of settings wise. What am I doing wrong? It won't even save in Photoshop either. 

I have various brushes stored in Lightroom and I would like to save them in adobe camera raw.  Is there an easy way to do this? Thank you,

Hi all, In Bridge, while working with Adobe Camera Raw, you can go to develop settings and choose to clear settings and thereafter the raw file reverts back to its native state. Fine. In Bridge View settings, I have it set to show the .xmp metadata files.    What if you want to rejoin a .xmp metadata file to a raw file. Is that possible? How do you do it?

I have the most up to date software for camera raw and I'm using MacOS Monterey thats also up to date. When i go from bridge to edit in Camera Raw it doesn't fully open the software eveything is blacked out

The color noise reduction in Camera Raw is not works on windows 11. No effect changes when I adjust value.The same photo ,the same PS and Camera Raw version,it works on windows 10, but not works on windows 11.This is very important function, please fix it as quickly, thanks.

First, there is no problem before my PC upgrade to windows 11, I found this problem after my PC upgrading to windows 11: The color noise reduction in Camera Raw is not works, No effect changes when I adjust value(0~100).I'm pretty sure it doesn't work at all.the same dng file(shot with SAMSUNG Galaxy S10), the same PC ,the same PS and Camera Raw version, all the setting is same.it works on my another windows11 surface pro(intel graphics card) . Yes, all the same ,it has no problem on intel card. But color noise reduction in Camera Raw can process JPG files correctly. I have try :1.install other Camera Raw version (v14.0 & v13.1 & v12.4)2.Uninstall the NVIDIA graphics drivers3.turning off Use GPU for Image Processing4.new install windows115.reinstall PS 2021 and PS 2022I tried everything,there is no way to fix the problem.

I have 10 images selected, and first one is way I like it.  Stumped from there. In the past, I think there was an apply buttom?  Now I right click and get goofy copy from  soemthing text, and then click, done, nothing happens. Thanks!

What MAC OS do I need to open and convert Nikon NEF files from a D810 and Z50?Can those converted files be used by Aperture running on a 10.7.5 MAC OS?

Hi. Last update of Camera Raw is really horrible.  Another update where are many annoying bugs. Why the [Profanity removed by moderator] is Camera Raw so slow after this update? When You have many XMP profiles in collections, it is extremely laggy.Need find some way how downgrade Camera Raw to previous version. I tried downgrade Photoshop, but  it still using last Camera Raw. BTW: Before this update was everything fine. Not HW related - i7 4770K, 32GB RAM, 970GTX.

Just opened updated camera raw and the welcome to camera raw 14.0.1 screen will not go away. I can't get to the raw program

Hello everyone. Is anyone facing this issue? It appears that Bridge is somehow corrupting my RAW files. They appear to be ok at first then they only show up as the image attached.  Viewing of the files is possible in other programs, but I cannot work them in bridge.   

Hi,I melt some picture to create a panorama and then i cropped a part of the image.Now i'd like to process the image in camera raw but I notice it's going to process the whole image. How to take into consideration only the useful portion? 

The new linear gradient requires you to press "Shift G" to add a a new gradient. Is it possible to do away with this (prefer the previous version without having to press shift G) ? I like to add a few gradients and it is time consuiming to always press shift G to add a new one.

In Adobe Camera Raw, one of my first jobs is to go to the 'Optics' section and enable user profiles for the lens I have used .... I cannot think of a situation where I would not want to use these..... SO , is it possible to have them permanently 'ON" rather than have to do it for every picture ...... please dont talk tooo techy 🙂 thank you
