Hola, habitualmente cuando trabajo con captivate classic para mac, el apartado de propiedades "carácter" aparece vacío después de un tiempo trabajando con el programa.Algunas veces se arregla reiniciando y otras incluso debo instalar el software de nuevo.¿Pueden ayudarme por favor?

Hi Everyone, I am tasked to create either a button or an exit slide feature that saves my position in the timeline so that when i exit the course I can come back and pick up where I started. To be clear, I have already implemented this step so the user can pause/play while they are viewing the material (https://youtu.be/drk8vK5yFKE?si=IRhjasG3wnrcLwyv). My concern now is precisely upon exiting, is there a way to create a save state either through the variables within captivate or using javascript or utilizing both, and how what does this look like?  Thanks so much! I've been at this for a couple weeks and cannot find the answer to my prayers.

Hope all is well. Can I ask if it is possible to add a point on slide enter? I'm planning to add a point at the end of a module and there will be no button at all, so when they enter the last slide, it will score a point and mark as complete. The reason for this is, on some of my training modules, I have a mouse scroll effect (continues to the next slide) and also place a shortcut that jumps to the end of that scroll (incase a learner doesnt have a mouse wheel). If the learner uses the shortcut, I just realized that it misses few slides. Therefore, they cannot achieve 100% slide completion and giving an issue unable to proceed on the next module. If I made it like 90% but a learner didnt use the shortcut,  lets say on slide 90 out of 100, they will already received a notification on the LMS that they completed the training (releases certificate) I bit of confusion for me, So I was thinking instead of counting the slides, I will just put a score point at the end and

Hello dear community,I’m currently a bit puzzled with the new Captivate. I’ve recently changed companies to set up an e-learning environment there - I originally come from iSpring. I intended to switch to Captivate, and my understanding of the "capabilities" was based on Captivate Classic (as it is apparently now called).However, I'm somewhat disappointed with the capabilities of Captivate 12, and I’m not sure if it’s really worth it. Can one simply rely on Captivate Classic to create learning content, or is the service for Classic going to be discontinued at some point? I don’t feel comfortable recommending Captivate to my company right now... and I’m leaning more towards Articulate.Is it just my impression that the capabilities of Captivate 12 are significantly more limited due to its focus on responsiveness

I have been trying to decrease the slide length for two drag and drop slides. Whenever I try to change it on the Timing portion of the Properties tab, it will not do so. Additionally, I have tried to use the timeline to decrease the time, but it is locked and refuses to move. Any assistance would be helpful, as I feel I have tried everything and nothing will work. 

I went into "Edit Theme" > "UI Components" > "Dropdown" and updated the font for all the states of the dropdown menu to the font that I want to use for it. It shows up in the theme the way I want it.    After I clicked Apply, I went to the slide where I had updated it, and in "Normal", "Hover" and "Disabled" it shows up correctly.   However, when I click on the dropdown menu and it switches to "Selected" state, the font reverts to what had been the default previously (Times New Roman).   When I tried changing the font of the other states that I have control over (Normal and Hover), and then went and re-applied the Theme, they didn't update.  Only the "Disabled" state seems to be controlled by the Theme. Neither "Selected" nor "Disabled" allow you to change the font. Hello!!! I am putting in a couple youtube videos in a project. The videos seem to be hit and miss as far as closed captions come. They all have closed captions on youtube but then when I put them in captivate, come seem to have the closed captions, and some don't. Does anyone have any in site??? Thank you!!!

Simplesmente, acentuações e caracteres especiais que não funcionam no Adobe New Captivate 2023. Testei diversas confirgurações de teclado, mas não reconhece a entrada pelo teclado (nem o virtual), apenas copiando e colando de outra ferramenta para o captivate, o que é inviável para quem produz e precisa de agilidade na criação.  Alguém sabe como solucionar?

So when I opena. project using the standard 'Light' template in the new Captivate, I get a little blue warning in the bottom right of the main window saying a font is missing (see screenshot) "Roboto" - to my knowledge I have not used any fonts outside of the included theme ones. Would there be a way to identify what element is looking for this? is it a UI element? is the only answer to manually click on each element in my project and see if any are randomly set to that font? 

White borders appear around the program window when I open pdf files with Adobe Acrobat. This happens both in dark and light modes of the display theme. Problem appears both in fullscreen and normal window modes. In the corner of this "white border" i can press the phantom exit button and it closes the app just like the native exit button would do normally. This glitch/bug annoys and is actually hard to work because sometimes the normal window exit button stops working and only this "phantom red button" would be pressable. Tried turning off the security mode(all buttons there are turned off) and tried various compatibility options. Nothing seemed to help.

I have a few quizzes in Captivate 2019 and I utilize the question pool to create random quizzes.  Is this possible in the new Captivate 12?

I'm working with Adobe Captivate 12 and have a specific requirement for a Multiple Choice question. The question has 5 possible answers, 3 of which are correct and should each give 1 point when selected. Additionally, I want to award 1 point each for not selecting the 2 incorrect answers.In other words, I want to give points not only for choosing the correct answers but also for avoiding the incorrect ones. Is there a way to set this up in Captivate 12? Any guidance or steps on how to achieve this would be greatly appreciated. 

I am using Captivate 11.8.0.710 and have published the course to an LMS. I have set the Quiz attempts in the Quiz -> Pass/Fail settings to infinite attempts. The Retake button is turned on. Do users have to retake the quiz in the same session using the retake button?  Currently, when a user fails the quiz and doesn’t choose Retake at that time, and ends the session of that module, when they come back to the quiz, they can no longer retake it. Instead, all they see is first question of the quiz in review mode with no navigation. Every time they return to the module, they are set to the next question in the quiz, but always still in  review mode with no nav. For example, if there are 10 questions in the quiz, they could leave and return to the quiz 10 times to see each question in review mode but they would never be able to retake it. Is this the designed behavior?

I am trying to publish a Captivate Project for a device. This will be put into Moodle. When I clicked on "Publish to Device" the first screen came up. There is a place to put in the Fonts Domains. When I click on the link to the Creative Cloud, I get a screen that wants me to purchase Creative Cloud, which our company already owns. When I chose my fonts, I used Web Safe Font, which is what was suggested to use. I did not click on the Cloud icon to choose. Is this something that I should have done? I am ready to publish this, but am at a loss as to how I can get the fonts domains. Thank you in advance for any assistance.Diane Guiett   

I am working on Captivate after 2019 and I am totally lost! The entire toolbar is different. I can't resize images the way I did, cannot edit the color and placement of the TOC(what happened to the skin editor?).  I can't drop an image without a media block, cannot import slides from a PPT and so much more. I feel like I don't know this tool at all. Is it possible to switch to the classic version from here?

I am having an issue with Captivate Classic.I have a slide with many text call outs on a video.  The Video position is set asTop 0%, Left 0%, width 100% and Height Auto.  When testing the video resises properly for the various devices (Specifically Desk Top and iPad (horizontal).  There are perhaps 12 or so callouts.  All have positions set at:Top x% Relative, Left y% Relative, width z% and Height Auto.  When testing against the various devices all callouts behave as expected (they remain locations wise as they should) except for one?  I have specifically checked the one not properly positioning and verified the Position is set like all the rest.   In the CpC Layout review I can see all the callouts positioning as expected except this one. I get the same sysmtomif I preview the project.Anyone know what I might be missing?

I am receiving the above error when trying to insert image blocks.  I have tried the instructions provided by Saurav_Ghosh in this thread https://community.adobe.com/t5/captivate-discussions/error-message-something-went-wrong-while-content-block-insertion/m-p/13951680  These instructions have not worked and i have also tried reinstalling the app,. Does Adobe have a solution for this issue?  

I would like users to have a choice to go back and do the simulation again, but the simulation does not work the second time once it's gone through. Is there a way to make the simulation work multiple times? I am working on the version 12.3.0.12. Thank you very much in advance. 

I've still got older eLearning modules in Captivate Classic 11.8.3.8 and want to keep my closed captioning for my SCORM output but now I need to have MP4 output as well and was told I might be able to export the closed captioning to SRT for the MP4. I see a document on how to do that in the New Captivate, but is there a way to do it in old? Until the new Captivate has all the same features/options as the old Captivate, I can't move over for these older files. We do update them, but not as often as we'd like due to resources. Thanks for any help. I manually created captions for one of the modulesa and have two projects now, but I'd rather be able to use the same project and publish 2 ways. Thanks

Use company's test version of captivate 12.3. On fail set result 1 to go to a certain slide it always to the first question in project. Why is it doing this and why can't tell it to go any slide of my choosing?

Hi  I'm trying (30 days trial period) Adobe Captivate Classic but I'm not able to get any of the animations (SWF) offered in gallery cause the dialog filters GIF extension files only. What am I doing wrong?  Thanks in advance for your prompt answers Albert
