How can I Create Table of contents, that can thick the box when you read the particular lesson?Like the image attached.

When I try to export it gives me a Word file that doesn't have any time stamps. Thanks!

Hello all,I am using the Knowledge Check option in Captivate 9 to create some questions. I would like my students to see the correct answers after they failed twice before they move on to the next question. I can't seem to find any option under Quiz Properties. My questions are multiple choice and True/false.What am I missing? The custom feedback does not help, as the answers vary from question to question. Is this possible?Thanks!Lilybiri​

Is there a way to make the mouse-over-layer transparent in quiz questions?Because it is not possible to bring the text of the active-area of an answer middle next to the checkbox (or radiobutton) instead of the upper left and I have to include some graphic I decidet to put things in captivate the way you see it on the right of the picture. The "OK?"s are two text-fields outside the block for the answers (marked in captivate with the blue line).Exported in HTML5 there is an mouse-over-effect you see on the left. Searched a very long time how to make the mouse-over-layer transparent (or even change his color), which would be the easiest if not the only solution to make this look OK. Within Captivate, I am trying to simulate touching and holding a button for three seconds on a touch pad to get a second window to come up.  I have an image of the touchpad and an image of the second window.  Now I have to set up the interaction.  Is it possible for me to have an image "show" -- in this case, the second window -  only after a click box or button is held for three (or more) seconds?Thanks for any help!Ryan

The module name defaults to "Captivate E-learning course" when it is posted to the LMS.  The project title, project information, and table of contents are named properly in Captivate with the real course name.  Is there another place in the Captivate 8 software where the LMS might be drawing this default name from? I have to rename the module whenever it is posted to the LMS.

even if she has license as seen in primary conatct toolhi, primary admin Ela Molek see Mucko Zvezdana (user) as normal user of captivate license, but Mucko Zvezdana has in her portal only option to buy Captivate license and not to download it. Why is that? Please help. thank you, Ela

Very new to captivate.  Trying to record myself using Tableau Desktop reporting software.  Tableau has a feature that when you hover over certain points on a chart, a Tooltip will pop up with additional info.  However, when I'm using the Video Demo in Captivate this window does not pop up.  It's like Captivate is blocking it.  I've confirmed it only happens when recording a Video Demo or in the screen prior to clicking the Record button in the Video Demo menu.Any thoughts on why this might be happening?Thanks

Hi,I recorded a short cpvc video of the screen while demo-ing an application. It plays perfectly in Preview, both right after saving, as a cpvc file, and after loading into the cptx project. In Preview it looks great..When I publish the project, the demo does not load. I just get the endlessly spinning wheel.I'm using a 30 day trial of Captivate 9 on a Windows 10 machine with lots of capacity.What is wrong here? What can I do to get it to load and play?Thanks!

Any reason why the file size increases so drastically when an Animated Gif is brought into Captivate?  In Windows Explorer, the file size is 1.32mb and in Captivate it's 32.29mb.  Explorer:Captivate:

Has anyone heard of an LMS not accepting special characters anywhere in the file names of SCORM 1.2 ZIPs? E.g.: All special characters (! @ # $ % ^ & * , - ? / ; : \ | ( ) space) removed from published file names (LMS)I got this request, and I believe it's for Saba LMS. I did find some mobile gesture images that had "@" in them. This was using Captivate 2017. I did my best to try and hunt down where any files that contained special characters were located and referenced once published. This was my process below that I documented so I could repeat it. Hello, I'm currently experiencing an issue that I can't figure out. I'm pretty novice when it comes to Captivate so please bear with me. I've created a presentation with 3 slides. First is an intro and the second two are D&D activities. For each D&D there are 21 Drag Sources, and 3 sets of 7 Drop Targets (So 7 Drag Sources can drag to any of 7 drop targets) The issue here is when I land on the first D&D activity the slide is paused as expected, but as soon as I drag an item to a drop target the slide advances on to the next slide before I'm able to hit submit.I've checked the timeline, everything is set accordingly, I've set all Drag Sources to Infinite Attempts with both Failure and Success Captions. In terms of timing, everything is set to display for the rest of the slide and appear after 0 seconds.I don't intend to use a timeline in my final output, so I've shut it off in the skin editor and my timelines are only a second long.What am I missing here?

Is there a way to specify fallback fonts for Captivate projects published using Typekit fonts?   How are the fallback fonts set? A workaround would be welcome.Can probably get away with it for actual project I'm working on, but future projects (all responsive) will continue to use web-fonts and client has requirement for fallback fonts.[Captivate 2017, release 10.1.0.285; Responsive Fluid box project, Mac OS 10.13]

I have been testing some of our lessons on an iPad using a bandwidth limiter to see how they perform on slower connections.One thing I am consistency seeing is that audio becomes out of synch with the captivate timeline. It seems to delay the audio for 2-3 seconds before the audio plays. But the timeline begins to play during that delay. This throws off our carefully timed slides.All my audio is on the timeline for the slide, NOT and event audio attached to an object.This is Captivate 2017 on a Mac, version 10.0.0.226I do not see any lags on a fast connection on the iPadsI do not see any appreciable delay on my desktop computer, even when I have throttled its bandwidth down to the same amount.I am throttling my bandwidth down to typical 3G connection speeds using Apple's Network Link Conditioner app.I have put in some JS and I can see the current frame changing during those 2-3 seconds before the audio begins to play. I have also put in a smart shape and animated it from the beginning

I have tried all weekend to download a trial of adobe presenter--it is a mess! not only do you not get a nice download icon it wants to manually download two parts and when I could finally unzip and open something it was just the instructions. Do you want to eventually sell this product or not?

Just wanted to check if anyone's tried Captivate 9 or 2017 with High Sierra (10.13)?I was caught out when I upgraded to Sierra last year and Captivate didn't work, so thought I should check before upgrading this time. Thanks in advance!

Can CP be used without an LMS? For instance, if I just wanted to use it for instructional lessons but I didn’t need to keep track of users…like in a help article. Can this be done, and if so, is there a certain way I save it…what do I do?Thanks,Tanya

Hello All,I have found that during some publishes the default browser keyboard navigation, using tab to move between elements and space/enter to select them, is not working.The problem seems to come from the Captivate javascript file.This happens whenever you tab across elements or try to "press" one via space/enter.I would not bother, since the actual mouse click events seem to behave as normal., however it is a customer derived requirement. Have any of you experienced this problem?I am not using the current version of captivate but the one previous, 10.0.0.236. This is due to the auto-play feature being removed in the current version.

Hello, I have a menu in our software that I recreated in captivate. I used rollover states to create the rollover feature of our menu and it works flawlessly going down. Scrolling back up though it phases out from the last button to nothing before it loads the picture in the rollover state of the button above. This is done in HTML5. Anyone have any ideas or suggestion why this is happening?
