Hello, I created a file in illustrator with the RBG setting and the preset, Film and Video (3840x2160) so I could get a high quality video when I export it. When I am in CH and I click render as vector, the text on my screen dissapears, Im not sure how to get it to render my text as vector for better quality because when I export throught ME the colors are duller in the final video. I would like the colors to look as crisp as the CH file. I attached a comparison below, I would appreciate any help? Thanks!
Here's my workflow for the lip sync for Youtube.
I have searched and seen some similar questions asked but the solutions don't quite seem to answer my question. A lot of the posts about arms are trying to get them to move together. I am not sure what I did or didn't do but I cannot get the arms to move independently when dragged. I tried removing the Limb IK behavior and the dragger behavior but if I remove the dragger behavior, the arms don't move at all even though I pulled the Chloe puppet into my scene so that I could look at how it was setup and there are no behaviors on either arm and they work independent. I am stumped.I will attach a link of the puppet so you can see for yourself. I feel like I am getting soo close to getting it just the way I want it!Thanks in advanced!
Quick question regarding dragging arms and hands... With my new character design (with higher level of details, mainly for the hands), every time I drag the arms, the hands take a while to slide and the result is weird. Do you have any tips on how to avoid this?
Hey, has anyone experienced an issue where Character Animator no longer recognizes the puppet file it exported? Noticed an issue when it told me that the character rig I created now says that if the character animator project is located on a server, I should save it locally, but even when I did that, it still didn't work. (The project was located on a TB hard drive.) Then when I tried to download the puppet I exported before, It posted an error saying that the puppet file was unrecognizable. Please advise.
am a new pie 🙂 , have no idea how to make side view from a puppet
Although the program allows me to access all its functions properly, every time I select a layer or behavior it takes a very long time to load. Here is my computer data:macOS Catalina version 10.15.7Processor 3.4 GHz Intel Core i5 quad-core processorMemory 40 GB 2400 MHz DDR4
I am learning CA and am having a difficult time. I am wondering, which side is the right side and which is the left. Is the right side the actual right side of the puppet OR is it the right side that you view on screen? Thanks
I'm having an issue with a rig. Once I switch to the Recording mode, the head (as well as limbs along with it) is offset from the default position to a position that's to the top right of the default position. I am able to "manually" reset the position by dragging the character's head, but I was wondering if there was a legitimate fix for this issue. Would greatly appreciate any and all help! Here's a video of the issue and my manual fix: YouTubeHere are the rigs: Google Drive
Hi team, i already captured all my scenes in FullHD. The characters (all vector) are scaled and walking in them. Now i would like to scale the whole scene up to 4k. I already tried exporting 4k through media encoder, but the Footage is blurred after it. I also checked 400% resolution of all characters and tried to scale the whole scene via live link through after effects. Unfortunately everything without success. Do you have any ideas, without recording everything from scratch?Cheers Sebastian
I have watched a few videos and fixed many of my beginner issues but one thing I have not figured out is why the hands of my puppet will not move with the arms. Actually it appears they are attached correctly but it is almost like there is a pin that I am not seeing that is pinned to the very tip of the finger. The character will stretch the arms but the tip of his finger does not change. I am having a lot of fun with this program but this is kinda getting me. I even used the arm set from the generic model. I would also like the arms to move like arms really would (IK) but that is probably a post for another time if I don't figure it out. I can DM anyone the puppet but I would rather not post it here..... I am not an artist. This is my first shot at creating my own puppet. TIA!
I can't find out what this error code means - anybody know? When trying to load a photoshop file (psd) I continually get this error 'The Photoshop file operation failed. Reason: (-1)', it is driving me nuts, anyone help?? thanks in advance.
When I am trying to create a replay, I record the motion, set my blends and then select all of my layers but when I right click to save the replay it only grabs my dragger handles and ignores the keyframes and triggers or vice versa. It won't grab everything to save the entire replay. Please help!
Character animator has begun crashing at some point every time use it. An even greater problem is:1. When it crashes, it gets stuck at the spinning beach ball2. I got to force quit, the UI disappears, but the app is still listed in the Force Quit window3. I wait awhile, repeat the force quit. CA will not go away or reopen (through applications or by opening project)4. I check activity monitor and can't see any related process running (that I can identify)5. My computer won't restart because it thinks CA is still running6. I am forced to hold the power button down to force a shut down. So, I've tried these things:1. Signing in and out of Creative Cloud2. Deleting preferences, caches3. Uninstalling CA and reinstalling, then unistalling all CC apps and reinstalling4. Disk repair5. Wiped everything from my computer and did a clean install of Catalina (not ready for Big Sur) So, I'm stuck. Help. Specs:OS: Catalina 10.5.7 Model Identifier: MacBookPro14,1 (13-inch, 2
You can see in the image below that the eyes, mouth, nose face background are all in the head but when you click back to record the head dissapears Not sure what I did wrong. I followed the instructiosn ont he YouTube vid. This is my first try at this so please be kind. 🙂
~70% of the time I add something to my "head" folder in a puppet, it will shift everything in the head layer in a random direction back in the rig. I am using photoshop for my puppets and have my puppets rigged up like +Character - Head folder - Body folder Not sure I have ever seen anything shift when adding things to my body folder which contains the body/legs/arms of the puppet. Mainly I have to quickly rig puppets to move things in front of their faces at times. Appreciate any help! =]
I started a youtube series and am looking to outsource the animation of my characters, specifically the vismemes. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to how I could mitigate the chance of someone stealing and using my puppets as their own. My first idea, since I am only looking to outsource the animation of the visemes, was to create new puppets with just the mouths and copy the visemes over to a new project (with the complete puppets) once I receive the freelancer's work. I'm just thinking out loud, haven't tried this option out yet. I would really appreciate any advice I could get!
this has happened twice now where i have already recorded a lot of parts using the puppet but then something happens where it isnt rigged right, i go to the rig to fix it but now the puppet isnt showing...
Hi,I use Manycam software to use my phone as a virtual webcam. On my computer (windows 10) it works fine using it with Zoom, Webex, etc...But in Character Animator I have black video. What could be the issue and what should I do to solve it?
I am trying to get my puppet move for the first time. I named the layers as the basic CHAD. I think I tagged the eyes correctly. But the puppet's pupils doesn’t move at all. can anyone tell me why?
Been having this issue pop up occasionally. After recording a performance, Character Animator won't play. I hit spacebar or click on the play arrow, which lights up blue but... no playback. I am able to watch playback through Dynamic Link in Premiere but not in Character Animator. Any ideas?
