I am getting a "403 - Forbidden: Access is denied." error. We have multiple websites are setup on 2 IIS servers.The 2 IIS servers have same apps on both servers.The IIS servers are behind VIP. I am getting the above error on only one of the site on only 2nd IIS server.Also, the error is only for accessing .cfm page and hot htm pages at same location If I turn off the 2nd IIS server and have only 1st IIS server behing the VIP. Then everything works. for e.g.we haveVIP 1 - Site 1 - port 81VIP 2 - Site 2 - port 82VIP 3 - Site 3 - port 83https://vip1/webapps/Test.cfm - workshttps://vip1/webapps/Test.htm - workshttps://vip2/webapps/Test.cfm - does not workhttps://vip2/webapps/Test.htm - workshttps://vip3/webapps/Test.cfm - workshttps://vip3/webapps/Test.htm - works Ruling out Netscalar issues,1. other sites on 2nd iis server works2. on the problem site, htm pages works3. the VIP settings look identicalIs that correct, or we need to look at something specific on nets

It worked previously with the older version (Adobe ColdFusion 2018.0.02), but when I updated to the newer version (Adobe ColdFusion 2018.0.02 2018.0.18), it gave me the error mentioned above. Is there any issue related to the Apache POI JAR file? Because when I used the older version of ColdFusion, the JAR file I used was 'poi-3.17.jar,' and I am still using it with the updated version. Can anyone help me with this issue?

I am getting an odd error and looking for help.Every so often I get the error "could not find the included template"eg."Could not find the included template /includes/CT_MCT_checklogin.cfm.""Could not find the included template /tools/CheckSettings.cfm."The scripts are running a lot but the error only occurs about 0.003% of the time. (ie. one script is run every 60 seconds but the error only occurs about 3-4 times every day.)The randomness of the error has me baffled as to what to do to handle this. When the error occurs I can refresh the page in the browser and it works again.Has anyone else ever encountered this problem?Note: we upgraded from Coldfusion 7 to 10 a few weeks ago and this has been happening ever since.

I upgraded to ColdFusion 2023, and now my Amazon S3 functionality is broken.  Looking at the ColdFusion documentation, I should be able to use the listAll(parameterStruct) function to get my desired results, but for some reason, I am getting errors.   I am trying to retrieve a list of objects inside a bucket.   The documentation only shows how to get a list of buckets in a storage account. But it says that I should be able to retrieve a list of objects inside a bucket, but doesn't provide an example.  Would anyone have a complete example of how to do this? 

I'm using a HostNexus CF server (CF10 Enterprise v10.0.14.291717 running on Windows Server 2012 R2 with jvm v1.8.0_172C). I am sucessfully using Amazon SES for email using CFMail to Amazon's SES SMTP gatway.  I use the useTLS = "yes" option in the CFMail tag. Amazon is upgrading to TLS v1.2 and is sending me warnings that my SES connections are using TLSv1 and will no longer be supported within a few weeks. Since the server is not on my network, I don't know how I can troubleshoot to see the TLS version that CFMail is connecting with, and attempt to get it to use TLS V1.2. I did a trouble ticket to the provider, but it seems they don't have any idea for how to proceed (i.e., Restarted mail services from our end. Can you please check now.).Anyone have any ideas of what to try on my end, or what the provider can try on their end to get me to TLS v1.2? Thanks, Marty M 

Hi, The full error of course is:HTTP Error 500.0 - Internal Server ErrorCalling LoadLibraryEx on ISAPI filter "C:\cf2021cloud\config\wsconfig\2\isapi_redirect.dll" failed I am setting up a new server,  and  I have one site running under IIS with cold fusion and works swimingly. It's magic number is 1 and all is well. The problem occured when I created a new IIS site and ran the cf connector and chose add. The connector did its thing and created the jakarta virtual dir etc and added an isapi filter pointing to magic number 2 this time. I have checked permissions across the board and confirmed paths, the simple stuff. my question is really is there something I missed when adding a second IIS site after cf was already connected ? I didnt see a way to edit my original connector or anyting, looked like I needed to add a second one. We have updated to ColdFusion 2021 Hotfix 9 and out ITR team is flagging cf-logging.jar as a lof4j vulnerability.  I have been unable to find a clear answer to remediation actions or verbiage that this is a false positive that will satisfy our Cyber Security.  Tenable plugin 156860.  

I can access my site fine from the server its on with the domain name, login in fine, etc. But when I try from a remote machine on the same network it gives me the login in page, but after that I get the Forbidden message. Thoughts? Logs aren’t given me much… I added the IP address to the server.xml thinking that would be the issue, but not luck. address="x.x.x.x" ForbiddenYou don’t have permission to access /page.cfm on this server.

We have been using the result structure from CFQUERY for years to retrieve an inserted ID, but it started to fail after applying update 2021/11 recently. It would appear that we now need to pull the inserted ID out of another structure entirely. I created a simple test scenario below and dumped out both the query and result structures - note that GENERATEDKEY is no longer in the result structure: <cfquery name="myquery" datasource="#ds#" result="myresult">    insert into ejtest(testfield) values('test')</cfquery>  The test table has both an identity field and PK set on that field. I am not able to run my project in docker container after upgrading to MacOS Sonoma in Macbook M1 Pro. First I thought I have some issue in my Dockerfile. So tried with a default blank command  docker run -dt -p 8500:8500 -e acceptEULA=YES -e password=ColdFusion123 -e enableSecureProfile=true adobecoldfusion/coldfusion2021:latest Still not able to run ColdFusion, so attached some log files. As of December 2, 2022, Tenable security scans are once again flagging ColdFusion with a Critical vulnerability, identifying the latest CF Update 15 (that we applied two weeks ago).  States we had previously mitigated this issue, but is back.   Has anyone else seen a vulnerability scan (of any level) identifying cf-logging,jar   as using v. 1.2.15.  (A logging library running on the remote host is no longer supported.). Identifies:[drive]:\ColdFusion2018\[cfinstance]\hf-updates\hf-2018-00015-330106\backup\lib\cf-logging.jar I can only find posts about this vulnerability in posts from Jan 2022, where Adobe says they checked and they "weren't vulnerable" I'm concerned because it is flagged as Critical and security teams will expect this to be mitigated.

Looking for some sort of integration (maybe third party) that allows for building out JS/HTML dashboards using Coldfusion.Leadership has asked that I create dashboards with graphical interface, such as pie charts, etc. These dashboards need to be acceessible via the CF web application that warehouses our client data. Ideally, the dashboards will also feature links wherein users can drill into more detail if desired.The CF web app uses Azure SQL db and runs on Windows.

Hello I am new to Cold Fusion,        Well I am new to Cold Fusion 2023. The last Cold Fusion version I have used is CF 10.We have a web site that I would like to migrate to Cold Fusion 2023 and it is basically a document search web site. I need to know if the 2023 version has the same functionality for collections and search as in the past. I know that Adobe has replaced Verity with SOLR. Any major differences in setuping the collections, indexing and searching them?      Is there is anyway I can move the current web site to testing/development environment to do the testing until we decide on investing in the new Cold Fusion Server? The testing environment should also have SQL server. Thank you so much!

I am submitting values to MS SQL where I set the value in the CFQUERY usingdatabasefield = <cfqueryparam value="#TheValueHere#" cfsqltype="CF_SQL_DECIMAL"> The database is set to DECIMAL(8,2) If I manually type in a value into the database such as 1.5 it works fineIf I use the cfqueryparam above, and post 1.5, it rounds to 2, so that's not right I removed the cfqueryparam, and again submitted the valkue of 1.5 in the variable, and it worked fine, I end up with 1.5 in the databasedatabasefield = #TheValueHere# Would anybody have any idea why using CFQUERYPARAM DECIMAL is causing it to round?

I'm hoping I'm missing something obvious here and this will be a simple fix. I'm working with the LinkedIn API, specifically creating a share. I've got all the authentication working and have successfully created plain text and article shares.  However, in order to include an image with a share I'm hitting a snag. According to the documentation, after making an initial call to obtain the uploadUrl, you then upload the file.  Specifically:  "To upload your image, send a POST request to the uploadUrl with your image included as a binary file." It gives this cURL example: curl -i --upload-file /Users/peter/Desktop/superneatimage.png --header "Authorization: Bearer redacted" 'https://api.linkedin.com/mediaUpload/blahblahblah'  I have tried numerous ways to replicate this call with CFHTTP, but LinkedIn always returns a 400 Bad Request response.  No other info. Here's my latest try: <cfhttp url="#uploadURL#" method="pos

We have a stored procedure in Oracle which has an insert statement into global temporary table. Given the CF2018 PM is updated to HF 5, does anyone know the latest tested Java (JRE) version for the toolkit?  Currently, it is running 11.0.1, though interested if it can/will run 11.0.20, or if not, the latest version currently tested on the CF2018 PM toolkit.
