Hi,Recently deployed ColdFusion 2021 on Centos 7.9.  Also downloaded and installe the hotfix.  I soon discovered wsconfig would not run and I found the articles about downloading a new wsconfig.jar  With the new jar installed wsconfig will run but now complains that "Coldfusion could not locate the connector for this configuration.  Refer to documentation for suppported web server for you OS."The detected Apache version is 2.4.6 and I do see mod_jk24.so in the jar file.  Am I missing something?  

We installed the ColdFusion 2021 version on a new server and configured the existing Coldfusion applications to run on it. One of the ColdFusion applications, which does not have any file with .hbmxml extension works fine, but the other application has a few file with .hbmxml extension gives the following error. We verified the IIS web server's request filtering list to be sure .hbmxml extension is not in the block extensions list. Is there any other configuration files should be updated to run the hibernation files without any problem? I tried to automate my installation and configuration for CF2021 on a docker container but i´m stuck with importing the exported configuration of datasources type "other" ( Custom Microsoft JDBC Driver provided through .jar in cfusion/lib folder).My steps where:1. Start Docker Container & import .jar file in lib2. Create the datasource on CFAdmin - connection established - everything green and connection works with cfquery.3. cfsetup export datasource datasource.json cfusion4. HelloI am having a strange issue. I am trying to implement a websocket with proxy in CF2021, and when I go to the Server Settings->Websocket page in the CF Admin, and select the radio button Use Proxy option, the Submit Changes button disappears?!? When creating an RDS connection to the internal CF9 server (127.0.0.1:8500) I get a popup box with a red 'X' saying 'Unable to contact RDS Server "Home."  Error Executing RDS command. Status Code: 404, Reason : Not Found'Why am I getting this message? It would be nice if we could connect to a database directly in CFB without having to use RDS. (hint hint)

Hi, I installed ColdFusion Builder Extension for Visual Studio Code. I also have the Prettier extension installed to handle formatting.  I got a notification in VSCode saying something like "Prettier is unable to format ColdFusion files (CFML), please pick a different default formatter".  The option presented was to use "Adobe ColdFusion Builder", so I selected it.  Now when I view and save .cfm files it formats the files automatically. The issue is that I don't like how it formats the files.  Can this be adjusted?   Besides the fact that I don't like the way it does or does not indent JavaScript on the page, the biggest issue is it forces a hard line break at around a 100 characters that is notably moving some of my single line javascript comments to the next line resuling in uncommented text.Example:   //Imagine comment longer than 100 characters...end of comment.   When I save it changed it to:   //

I know that folks are using the JDBC connectors (with some gymnastics) to attach ColdFusion X to Azure SQL.  I had previously done this in coldFusion 9 but found that under a load, it was less than desirable (allowing timeouts and conection refusals in the connection pool).So in coldFusion 10 I came across being able to use the Microsoft SQL driver by simply adding this line to make it use SSL:EncryptionMethod=SSL;(in the connection string box)I can't find the chatter on this, but it makes more sense to me to use the built in sql driver instead of JDBC with some JAR updating and restarting..  (feels 3rd party to me!)All was well, for over a year. These work very nicely and perfectly. Just learned about CF2021, downloaded the 2021  developer version and having weird issues with cfselect tag.I have 2 forms, registration and request forms. both use cfselect tags to create two or three dependent dropdowns.On my registration form:I have 3 dependent dropdowns. A states dropdown,  zip codes and US cities dropdown all use cfselect.  When user select a state, related zipcodes populate the second dropdown and then when a zipcode is selected the related city gets selected in the 3rd dropdown. All work great. The selected, value and message attributes all are working just great! Good afternoon,In an attempt to finally upgrade my environment from CF2016 to CF2021, one of my servers is experiencing an issue with losing connectivity to the data sources. Upon reviewing the coldfusion-error.log I find the following error on each of the data sources: "java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.DriverJDBCVersion.".The required files are installed to cfusion>lib: mssql-jdbc_auth-11.2.0.x64.dll and mssql-jdbc-11.2.0.jre11.jar.I was able to correct the issue by shutting down ColdFusion services and clearing out the contents of the cfusion>wwwroot>WEB-INF>cfclasses and restarting ColdFusion but this is not a viable solution for a Production system.Any idea what might be going on? I am on the latest update of CF2021.

I have an index page that calls several includes using variables. Part of my site has an inventory section. I would like to insert the name of the inventory item into the title tag. From the index, I can tailor the title tag in the header to show the section and categories, but since the query for the individual item is in the included file, that variable doesn't exist yet when the index comes up. I tried to use the cfhtmlhead from the inventory page, but it neither adds to nor replaces the title that is called in the index.cfm page. Here is my code, but it doesn't work.<cfhtmlhead text="<title>xxxx</title>"></cfhtmlhead> I guess, I could pass the inventory item name in the URL, but most items have spaces in them and then I have to deal with that too.Thanks, Kirk

Is this a bug? The cfsqltype cf_sql_smallint type doesn't work for any integer under 99, but the cfsqltype cf_sql_smallint does. For example - <cfset cookie.factId = 1> <cfquery name="factMatchSelect" dbtype="query"> SELECT id FROM factSelect WHERE id = <cfqueryparam value="#cookie.factId#" cfsqltype="cf_sql_tinyint"> </cfquery> 

Is this a bug? Running the following produces an error no matter what 'type' attribute value is entered, even 'any'. However, it runs fine when the type attribute is omitted. <cfparam name="cookie.factId" type="any" default="1">    

never had this issue before but when querying a db from my component I received the following error: [Macromedia][SQLServer JDBC Driver][SQLServer]Invalid object name 'collection_lines'. The query works just fine from console and the table exists all db privilages match. To troubleshoot i pulled the same query from my cfm page rather than the component and it functioned normally.

We recently installed CF2021 and our IT department flagged us as having an old JRE installed in Coldfusion2021\cfusion\jetty\jre.  We already configured CF itself to use a different JRE instead of the one in Coldfusion2021\jre, and we also set jetty to use the same JRE by changing the path in the jetty.lax file.  Interestingly, it originally referenced the main JRE, not the copy in the jetty folder.  As far as I can see, there's no reference to the jre in the jetty folder - is it safe to delete this?  Or do we need to maintain this jre as well?
