I've been coming along quite well with syncSWF lately. I understand some basic functionality, setup, and interaction. But I'm a bit confused about how to properly setup constraints. At MAX, I was fortunate enough to sit in Nigel Pegg's syncSWF hands-on intro at MAX, and he showed us some basics with podWidth/podHeight. I've easily been able to implement this into my swfs, but only on a specific object. What would be the best way to set constraints on the entire movie's stage? i.e. if I have 20 movieclip on the screen, I don't want to set podWidth/Height for every single movieclip. I want to just resize the entire stage so that it fills the pod. I also want to make sure that if the pod is sized under the stage's width/height, that the stage's height and width - along with all of its contents - are properly undersized to fit within the pod. This doesn't occur by default - instead, if contraints are not set and the pod is sized under that of the swf, the swf shows outside of the pod's

We'd like to get some high quality camera setups in Breeze. Webcams seem rather low quality, even the 'true' 1.3 megapix cameras. It certainly doesn't look anything like the demo provided by Adobe. I'm think that a low quality digitial video camcorder would be the best solution, but having one of those on your desk all the time might get in the way. Any suggestions on quality webcams/mic combos? Maybe a small profile camcorder? Is a camcorder with Firewire necessary or will USB2.0 suffice? How about a camera similar to one used in video conferencing where you can control the camera for conference room Breeze interactions? I'm trying to sell this system to my organization, but the audio/video quality is something they don't like. I think that newbies that are techie people are confused with the audio/video controls as well.

Hi there. I would like to know if I can translate the breeze in english to other language? All options. I use API to do this service? Or I use XML? Can anyone help me? Thanks

When ever we launch a Breeze quiz it opens in a new window, which is fine, however it confuses our users as to what to do next after they have finished the quiz. I would like to add a link to the last slide which sends a command (javascript?) to close the window. All my attempts to embed JS have failed because all links within breeze open in a new window automatically, and I'm unable to close the window that has not been open by a script. Any help on the subject would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all, I'm trying to create a custom template f(for publishing)or my company. I would like to be able to export the template so I can send it to others in my company, but I am not able to find the file to send. Please help. Thanks, rareyes

The first slide of my PPT has some basic animation (no audio). It works fine in PPT, but after I publish to my local server, the animation isn't there. The rest of the presentation works as it is supposed to. Is there a certain way I have to save or publish the file to get a basic animation to run? Thanks. Kristi

Hello, I ran into this problem where all my swf files embedded in my Breeze presentation (through microsoft power point) are being converted to images rather than being flash files. I have checked the properties in Breeze for all of the swfs and the embedFile is set to true. I have tried embedding video as well and the same thing is happening. what makes it more complicated is that a few days ago I did work on a presentation with interactive swfs and published it without any problems. any help is appreciated. thanks

I've prepared a quiz with several multiple choice questions, but the radio buttons for all of the questions are aligning to the center of the question, rather than the top. I've tried ungrouping the bullet from the question, aligning them correctly, then re-grouping, but that process eliminates the question from the quiz in Breeze. Please help! I need to publish this quiz, but it looks bad with the bullets aligned incorrectly!

Is there an ability to send an e-mail upon an attendee passing a course?

This should be easy. I'm opening Breeze presentations in New windows, and they keep defaulting to the Slide Only mode, when I want users to see the video. Anybody know how to make them always open with the video showing? Yep, in the Theme Editor, I've already got them set to start in "Default" mode. Thanks for any help.... Mitch

While talking about Breeze and access from outside our network, my colleague and I started wondering whether we need to be concerned about what users can do once in a Breeze Meeting room. Does anyone have any experience or thoughts on this subject? Do we need to worry about what files a Presenter might upload? Is it possible for any kind of malware (such as an infected .jpeg or such) to be uploaded and get outside of the Breeze environment? We suspect not, since Breeze needs to process the file first. Are there other Breeze capabilities that might add a potential risk to our network? Are there any unique concerns if a user were a Meeting host? Again, we don’t think so, but wanted to reach out to the Breeze community to gain from their knowledge. Thanks for any of your thoughts.

We have created a curriculum in Breeze training, but we know some of our remote people will not be able to view the course because they are on dial-up. Does anyone now if you can burn the curriculum to a cd or an exe. file and still be able to extract the results? Thank s in advance.

A good deal of users who register themselves cannot login to our customized BreezeCentral site. They can reset the password, but still nothing. And they don't show up in the admin tools. Any suggestions?

Hi, Using Breeze Meeting to record a 1- to 2-hour meeting, using Premiere teleconferencing to record the audio, results in an audio track that is, by the end of the recording, more than 5 seconds out of sync with the video! Is there a way to fix this? Thanks!

We will send you an update with the new date and time. We apologize for the inconvenience. **************************************** My response: This is totally unacceptable. This is the second time in the last two weeks that I have had to reschedule these meetings. I am a project leader in my firm. It took me a while to get people interested in these seminars. Most of them being flash programmers. Now because of your fiasco, I have lost face in my agency. How can two screw-up take place right next to each other? You don’t tell me that the meeting is cancelled 5 minutes before it starts. I am an average programmer. I do understand that things don’t normally work as they should. But in the process I will not screw my client. I would at least inform them a few hours or a day early saying

I'm making a series of training with Breeze. Each Lesson is made up of three parts, a course, as assessed simulation and a Knowledge test. Is there a way I can link the three Breeze courses inside a curriculum folder?

Hi, Is it possible that I can incoporate Breeze into a web portal and allow users to chose which language they want to view Breeze in. For example a user logs into the portal, selects that they want every thing in French (as they are a French client), they then chose to go view a presentation, but when they open the presentation all the Breeze buttons are in English. Is it possible to set Breeze up so that when the user choses which language they want to see the whole portal in, this is also relected in Breeze.

Is there a way to allow students to have the flexibility of clicking through slides (or sections) of a course, yet still have it tracked in Breeze that they completed the entire course? Or, is there no way around forcing students to go slide by slide listening/reading each and every slide in its entirety before Breeze will count it as complete. It would be nice to have control over which slides are required and which are optional in any given course...For example, we have a "theme" on each of our training courses, where the slides have an intro and a closure slide. If a student gets anxious and does not want to sit through these slides, Breeze will not track that they completed the course. Any advice would be appreciated!

I have published my Breeze Presentation through PowerPoint over the top of an existing presentation. Breeze has created a new version and says that the presentation was modified when I made the upload. However when I play the presentation the old version plays not the new one. I have tried refreshing, restarting the computer and deleting temporary internet files but to no avail. Any suggestions?
