We are running some tests before going live with clients. In the test we have five live events which use the same content (meeting room). We clean up the room and re-use it for each event. We have set-up the five events in the Events Management module and invited participants through that module so they are registered in the system. We have set-up thank-you emails for both attended and absent participants (along with various reminder emails ahead of the event).I am wondering how does the Events Management module determine if a participant attended the given live session? We have noticed that it has sent the "You attended" email to participants who attended an earlier session but not the current session (but were enrolled for both). It didn't seem to know that they didn't attend the latest session and seems to be basing their attendance because they have previously attended an earlier session in the same room.So I am wondering what the trigger is for attended/absent in a session run thr

Hi,For my business, I need to be able to create videoconferences. I could do it with the adobe connect GUI, but I can't do it with the web services API, I couldn't find the way to do it.I actually know how to create a meeting and how to register users to it, but I need to create events instead of meetings.What I need to do is to create an event where users can login without password. I need to be able to create the event with the API and also register users to those events via the API creating their accounts.I can do the last part easily but what I can't do is to create the event. I can't find any documentation to do it and if I try to create an event with sco-update with the type event into my-events folder, then it appears in the GUI but the event seems broken since when I click on it, I receive an error message.My question is, how to create a webinar where only the presenter will stream video and where people will be able to log in without password. I need to add a student's name to a certificate of completion. I'm able to get the certificate to open and pull in the Course name and the date, but no student name. Does anyone have a solution? I can provide the file I'm using. (I'm publishing from Storyline 2 with the LMS settings).

How to configure reverse proxy for Adobe Connect Server ?In the Adobe connect server, seems to force users to use a specific domain name, request always redirected to the original domain.try to configure Adobe Connect Host and Host Mappings to 192.168.1.65/adc/ , but still no luck.

I've had a few individuals trying to watch their training videos through an adobe connect link and get the message that they need 11.2 flash or higher to use it.  They had a new version installed but we still are getting the message about flash player so went through and downloaded version 17.  Still we had the same issue, I've looked everywhere online and can't find a resolution for this.  We uninstalled flash, restarted the computer and then reinstalled flash to no avail.  They do not have real player on their, computers as I saw that could be an issue but we've never had it installed.  All are windows 7 x64 computers.  We tried Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Google Chrome with the same results.  Made sure the add on was enabled in the browsers and deleted cookies/history and reset the browsers.  Even going as far us uninstalling Firefox and Chrome and trying a fresh installation of those.  This is happening on several computers, not all

My employer has been using Connect via annual contract with one of Adobe's resellers. Now, they've decided to go enterprise. As the main in-house tech guy, what should I expect from the transition? Will there be any differences in performance visible to presenters or attendees? How about behind the scenes? Will I have more control than before and, if so, of what? How will this affect our network? Is there a primer somewhere that helps explain the differences?

Hello! My company is thinking of switching to Adobe Connect for our presentations.I am currently trying to setup an example presentation and am learning the platform. I keep running into some major frustration with the lack of sizing options for the various pods (specifically the share pod).I have a Share Pod setup and am attempting to share a .pdf file. I can't seem to find anyway to directly input a pixel dimension for the pods, and would like to size the pod exactly to the dimensions of my pdf. I have tried using the "fit to page" and "fit width" buttons and while they seem to function correctly I am still left with grey bars outside of the pages. Furthermore, I cannot seem to get the pod to correctly display only one page at a time, the top of the next page is always visible no matter what I do.I am curious if there is A. a setting when I am creating my pdf's (I am using Illustrator, InDesign, & Acrobat) to ensure that only one page is displayed at a time, or B. if there is a s

I'm trying to create guest users with adobe connect 9 via the api.So I call principal-update with type=guest, the first time, it works well.Obviously, if I try the same call again with the same user login, it fails saying it's a duplicate. The problem is that I can't find the guest user anywhere, I tried principal-list and report-build-users but in both case, the user is not listed.I tried to look for the users onto the web app and I can't find that guest user anywhere.Since the API is complaining that the user I try to create is a duplicate the second time, I suppose this user is stored somewhere, so where should I look to get him ?Thanks,

right now I'm using iframe to allow my website visitors to view a recorded Adobe Connect Event. It's not great in terms of formatting and user experience.Is there a better way to stream a recorded event via a website then using an iframe and maintain the interactivity across all platforms?Cheers,Fred

I'm attending to a meeting throug adobe connect and my voice sounds out of pitch. Anyone could help me with this issue. I'd teste dmy soundcard and apparentaly there is no problens whith the hardware, since the microphone is working pretty well with the OS. Tks

When I open a meeting, all of the menus, text and buttons (like the one to activate webcam, microphone, etc) are tiny! Changing the font size doesn't help - it only helps for the contents of the chat box. What could be the problem here?
