With the new Connect update, the "Draw" feature has a huge lag for me. I teach math using Adobe Connect so I write lots of equations on the Whiteboard, and until today I was able to do it essentially in real time--like I was using a real pen. Now, after the update, the Draw feature in both Whiteboard and Share is laggy and unresponsive so I can barely write at all. This is quite frustrating and I will not be able to continue using Connect if this isn't resolved. My system is completely the same as it was before, so I think it must be something that changed with the update. Has anyone else encountered this, and are there any solutions? Thank you.

We have just started using Connect.At a meeting this week all was well with three connections (two in NZ one in France) then the audio between two of the parties was lost. Subsequently another two could talk but the third could not hear (a different pair to the original problem).Why has this happened and how can it be avoided?

Hello All,I have been using my iPad with the Connect app for awhile and really like the benefit as it works much better for me than using the mouse when I want to circle/highlight, etc. for students.  I also use it on a regular basis with my math class.  I am looking to get a new tablet and was maybe going to go the Android or Windows direction, but when I tried it on my son's Kindle Fire with the Connect App I did not have the drawing function.  Is there a list of tablets where the drawing function works or something specific that I need to look for.  Thanks in advance for your help.John

Connect reporting seems extremely limited, cumbersome & incomplete.I have one Connect Curriculum with 8 Courses (we call them Modules). (Content created with Adobe Captivate)I need a report with user info (so not just a name, but other registration data) by course completions, so something like this:Jane Doe, email, Engineer, Orlando, Fl, [i.e. detailed info from registration] Completed Courses 2, 3, 7 [out of our 8-course curriculum]Tom Smith, email, Astronaut, Houston, TX, Completed Courses 2, 3, 6, 7, 8Vandana Singh, email, CPA, Dallas, TX, Completed Courses 1, 2, 3This seems pretty rudimentary, but I've had to create instructions that entail about 21 steps to create this report FOR ONE COURSE in our Curriculum. Half of those steps need to be created again for each course. It's ALL MANUAL!!!! I'm wondering if someone could help me out.  For some reason the Adobe Connect Add-in no longer works on my desk top.  I get an error message each time saying that the add-in has stopped working and Windows will notify me once a solution becomes available.  I've downloaded all windows updates on my computer since the issue started on Monday.  I've also removed and re-downloaded the add-in for Windows 7, which did not correct the issue. Anyone have any ideas?

We had a myriad of problems during a session today and I would greatly appreciate any advice on what happened and why.our 1) Several of our participants had their permissions changed. A participant who was screen sharing became a host and a host became a participant. Another participant who had been raised to Host suddenly could not type new text into the chat pod. All without anyone causing the change.2) Our Chat Pod started moving around the window, then closed. Also, our layout switched from one to another and back a few times. Again, without any of the hosts doing anything.Is it possible that the server flummoxed out permissions and mistakenly assigned host rights to an attendee? This would explain both our shifting permissions and the odd behavior of our various pods.

Dear Adobe Connect Community I have not had this blackberry playbook long and thought if I installed this application, I would be able to enter my study class chatroom.I do have these sessions twice throughout any three months of the modules am doing, so I do know the class sessions work, and I thought I would be able to continue studying if am not at home and on the road.I need to know if your application is still supporting the BlackBerry PlayBook OS: 2.1.0.1917, as I received your application from BlackBerry World Apps.The class sessions are held with Resource Development International Ltd (RDI Ltd), who works together with Edexcel and Pearson Education.I do hope we can have this fixed.Yours sincerely JT Valerie

I am trying to produce a query that will automatically generate a list of absent students whenever a particular page is called. The name of this page is entitled "students_over_30_days.cfm". The problem I am running into is that the output list is displaying all of the dates that the students were in class including dates that are clearly under 30 days. My goal is to only list students that are over 30 days according to their most recent recorded date of attendance. Students that are not over 30 days will not be shown at all. It seems pretty simple enough however I'm running into a block. how do I access recorded meetings? when I click on the 'meetings' tab it says I don't have permission

My company does webinars for subscription members, and we broadcast them via Adobe Connect. We then package up some of the recordings and put them on YouTube as promos for a larger series, etc. We had the first session of a really marketable series Monday night, and so I was prepping the recording this morning so we could put it on YouTube as a promo for the series. I opened the "Make FLV" option in order to make an FLV of the session. When the window opened, it wasn't large enough to see everything, so I expanded it. At this point, I noticed that one of the video feeds for a presenter was frozen, and his audio feed wasn't working, so I closed it. I opened the recording normally and found the same thing. I'm connecting my Firewire camera (Panasonic AG-AC160) to my MBP.  AC recognizes the camera in the "choose camera" drop down, along with the built in FaceTime camera. When I select the FW camera, all I get is black. The FaceTime camera works fine. Any ideas? This same setup worked fine in GoTo Meeting. Thanks!

For the second time in just a few months, one of our Connect events was visited by a mysteriously behaving chat pod. The pod, which was on the public side of the room, at first changed position and then hid itself. I re-opened it from the pull-down menu and put it back in place, but it vanished again about three minutes later. This time, when I re-opened it all of the contents had been cleared. I types in a Test Test message just to make sure that it was working.Here's the really odd part. I checked a different PC logged into the same session and discovered that the chat contents missing on my PC were still inside the pod there.Given all these facts, what could have happened to have caused this?

Is there a recommend video capture card to stream other computers and devices such as a document camera to a pc running adobe connect so that the attendees can view the second pc or document camera? I have looked at several video capture cards but I am not sure how they will work with adobe connect. I have a PC that broadcasts the adobe connect session. I have one camera connected to it but I would like to switch between the camera and the video output of a second pc or a document camera. I am hoping to find a card that will take HDMI in and have adobe connect recognize it like a second webcam.Is this possible and any recommendations on hardware?Note: The PC I am running adobe connect from is an i5 system, 8GB Ram, and available expansion slots.

Can full administrators upload content to the shared content folders? All the documentation that I can find says that only the author group can, but in practice we find that full administrators can also upload content to the shared folders as well. Is this true for anyone else?

Hello Forum,I have enrolled in a course which uses Adobe for the class room which I log into. Recently when I try and login it doesn't take me to the group class.It says it is just loading. I had it logged with Adobe and they tried to help me.They got on my computer and spent some time trying stuff. I am still unable to log in and the customer care closed the case as complete.I am able to access the room on another computer, but need to have it on my own p/c.I have tried reloading Adobe using the method of taking old off the computer and redownloading it. I am on apple mac and believe it is the correct Adobe program for the computer.Very frustrated and seeking some guidance.Kind regards

  Hello to Adobe Connect support team and all the users,I decided to open this topic after a month of discussions with support team, but didn't get a proper response. They tried to help, but when asked about the root cause and how to solve it, discussions stopped.Everything began with an update to 9 version. We were using 8 version without recording problems. We are University and recordings are vital to our study process. When September approached, studies began and problems showed up. Some of the recordings were unusable. There were a lot of variations of how those recordings not working. Some stops at a certain point completely, some stops while skipping to some point manually (the same situation as written in Common Recording known issues), some videos has no sound or/and video, while chat and slides does work. These problems does not appear in every recording being made, but we cannot afford letting these things happen more than let’s say twice. But it happens again and again

Every time I try to duplicate an event I get:Request Not Processed   The system was unable to process your request.This happened last month. I would hate to have to enter everything again as this function has worked the last 6 months.

I have sound embedded in a PowerPoint presentation.  I can hear the sound on my computer but the attendees or participants don't hear the sound.  What do I need to do so that they will also hear the sound.

Has anyone had any success with Adobe Connect and Windows 8.1?  I am using the Adobe hosted version 9.1.2 of Connect.  I have tried Internet Explorer 11(comes with 8.1 and you cannot downgrade), Chrome and FireFox.  I can get into the meeting and do almost everything except the video will not work.  I have the latest flash, have tried hardware acceleration and no acceleration, tried 2 different cameras just to make sure that wasn't it though they do work on a Windows 7 computer.  I am just looking for anyone that has the video working on Windows 8.1.Thanks-Scott
