I got Creative Cloud on my Mac a few days ago and is pretty new with Adobe, but a problem I can't seem to fix is that none of my files that I try to do download in the cloud won't sync at all. There is a folder in Finder called Creative Cloud where my files is supposed to sync but for some reason a red warning triangle pops up every time. When I save the files that I have worked with they end up there but won't sync. I also tried to archive them in the web version of the Cloud but then I was just told that a problem had occurred. I have tried to restart the sync by turning it on and off and tried to restart i desktop application but I cant seem to make it work... Help!Marius Soløst
HiI just synced about 20gb of files in my Creative Cloud Files repertory. I close my computer and when I open it again it has to sync everything again. Does it do that every time? If so, what's the point if I have to wait 2 hours every time I open my computer?
Hello,I recently attempted to move a large amount of high resolution images to Adobe Assets. It seemed to bog the whole system down, so I stored my images on an external drive. However, now despite having about 20 gigs left on my cloud storage, even small files fail to sync, or save back to Assets. The error says "Unable to sync due to server error." I need Assets to work properly in order for business to run smooth around here. Thanks in advance for any help.
Dear fellow Adobe product users and Adobe support teamI have been experiencing problems with adding new files to the CC for the last couple of weeks. I have a licence for all CC products provided by my university. I am using the CC2018 apps on Windows 10 64bit, however this is not relevant I believe, because adding via website is not working for me either, not depending on which computer I log in into my CC account, therefore it cannot be an issue of firewall or my sortware/hardware configuration. The desktop app is notifying me "unable to sync due to server error" and the CC asset website is telling me simply that "error occured".What does work is deleting the files, and it works even from the desktop sync. Adding anything is not possible by any means and I have no idea why. Is there a way to resolve this?Looking forward to your replyKind regardsWojciech Szmyt
Is there a way to archive an entire folder in my Creative Cloud Libraries?I have a lot of folders for different projects that I am no longer working on but they may pop up in the future so I don't want to delete the folders, but I don't see a way to archive each folder. All I can see for archiving is to archive individual assets but this is terrible because they would be SO disorganized in the archives folder and getting the files back would be a nightmare.
My company just purchased the Cloud for our team. I am experimenting with proofing through the cloud but I have 2 problems:1. People without a Cloud account cannot comment. WhenI try to share, it does not give me the option to allow or disable commenting. It has a check box to allow downloading but not commenting.2. I uploaded a native InDesign CC file but it did not upload any of the corresponding fonts. The area on the right where it's supposed to list the fonts int he document was bank and it substituted Verdana for everything. I thought the whole point of the cloud was to be able to share with people who do not have cloud accounts? Fonts aren't supposed to be a problem and you are supposed to be able to upload native program files without a hitch. How can I resolve these issues? The commenting thing is most important as I can get around the font thing by uploading PDFs. Thanks.
Hi all,I started a subscription to Creative Cloud about three months ago, and I've loved the difference it's made to my workflow - I'm now importing raw files to my iPad directly after taking shots, syncing them to my desktop after I get home, moving them to a new folder on the desktop and then deleting them from mobile to free up space there. Until this week this seemed to be working a treat, but now I have a seemingly permanent warning that my cloud storage is nearing capacity and I can't work out how to free up space! On LR Mobile, I've now deleted all but a handful of the raw files I'd imported, which has made zero difference to the amount of cloud storage I'm using. In both desktop and mobile, there are only 50 files synced. On the creative cloud management program, when I click on the 'Assets' tab it tells me I've used 86.9% of my cloud storage and directs me to a desktop folder (which is empty), a web folder and the Archive, but at the latter two I just get the message 'You don't
i, my synchronization files aborted each time with adobe cc app on windows 10The message is just failed, i have no further information.I already reinstalled the app but same failthx
Hi,I have been trying to send my comp files to InDesign with no luck. It does not even come up as sent but only continues to think for a long time (over an hour) then usually cancels out. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both the creative cloud on the desktop and iPad along with also uninstalling comp and reinstalling. I have checked the accounts are logged in under the same and do not have an issue with sending files to the creative cloud. The issue is only occuring from sending Comp and not any of the other apps (illustrator draw transfers fine to Photoshop etc). I have read similar threads with no actions that remedy the issue.
Why can't I upload a large video file - 100Gig- when I paid for a terabyte of storage?
It appears that my cloud storage is full 42.61gb of 20gb (All files are upto date)i want delete the cloud storage but when I go to assets etc it says I don't have any filesHow do I free up my cloud storage as on one hand its full (over full) but I dont have any files to delete.Im really confused and any help would be much appreciated
I started using libraries and the initially synced up with the cloud just fine. So I added some more files, graphics, etc. and shared them with my coworker... now they will not sync with the cloud, either way. They appear to be uploading then it says 100% followed by the error "We're experiencing Server Problems." I don't think it is a firewall issue since I got it to work initially. Thoughts?
I have the photographer plan/While I can see my photos on LR cloud I can not access them from Photoshop or the cloud/I am signed in and yet photoshop ask me to sign in to the cloud/????and It is said that 7% of my space is occupied.???
I installed successfully creative cloud and lightroom/photoshop cc 2018 and LR classic cc a couple of weeks ago.I migrated the catalogue of LR into the Adobe cloud, I found out that it also contains pics of my iphone.I have also a lot of pictures on my iphone (snapshots of my children), but I do not want these personal pictures in the cloud. The only thing I want to achieve is that my catalogue of LR cc is synchronised with my ipad and with my Imac (I have the luxury of having two operating systems; one on each computer). For that purpose I made a new catalogue of LR classic and archived the old catalogues on my desktop in a separate map. Therefore invisable for LR and Adobe (I hope).Half of the space (500 mb) is now occupied with the old catalogue, including my pics on my iphone. Should I delete all the pictures in the cloud (how can I do that quickly) and than migrate the newly created catalogue to the cloud. In other words, how can I make sure that only my 'new' catalogue, including t
adobe creative cloud is taking up too much space in my apple icloud, so how can i disconnect it so that i can free up some storage in my icloud?
I am having this issue as well, any tips on getting it resolved David?
I keep getting messages that my creative cloud memory is full, I have 20 G in my account and only 215 meg used??Tried deleting several files in both the active directory and the archive section and no change???
I am trying to upload 2 large files totalling 7 GB to my Adobe Cloud. I get a message that says I need to download Creative Cloud Connection to upload files larger than 1 GB. I followed the link they gave me:Adobe Creative Cloud desktop apps | Adobe Creative CloudBut there is no Creative Cloud Connection app there for download. How do I upload my large files? To explain further what I need to do, I have a colleague with a Cloud account that she shared with me. She will no longer we working with the files and would like to transfer the admin access of the files to me (total files are about 7 GB which I have zipped to two large files 1 GB and 6 GB). I am trying to upload the files to my account on the web, but that's where I'm having a problem. I thought by uploading them via the web app, the files would transfer to my account. If I can't do this, how can she transfer the ownership of the files to my account so I have full access?Thank you.
We have been syncing our files via the creative cloud for weeks and we came in this morning and everything we had been working on in two different folders on the creative cloud is gone. Need immediate assistance!
I only use one computer. The other day I moved the Creative Cloud Files (CCF) folder (about 1.1GB) from the default location to an external drive, following Adobe instructions, which I'm sure I did correctly, I used to work in IT. I copied the folder over then changed the location in the app.Sync then started behaving strangely, apparently doing file transfers, although all I'd done was copy the folder and there had been no change in contents whatsoever at that stage, and the app seemed to find the new location ok.Perhaps foolishly, I then copied a folder containing subfolders and images (about 11GB) from elsewhere into the CCF folder for backup. But after I added the new image folder it got worse. When the computer is restarted or wakes from hibernation the sync process restarts, or at least seems to lose most of the work done during the previous session. This morning, after running overnight then a brief hibernation, it went from Syncing file 377 of 1016 to Syncing file 1 of 1012. And
So often I'll be looking to access files that either I myself added or my collaborators have added.. But when I click the file itself, it keeps popping up as PAGE NOT FOUNDThis is the same if I share a link and try accessing it, or even use a different browser (safari & chrome)Please help, very annoying
Some of my files have not been syncing lately, others have no problem. The error I am getting simply says "due to server error" nothing specific. I have read that this can be caused by other collaborators running out of space. These files are stored in folders that are collaborative, however other files in these folders are syncing. I did notice that some of the collaborators, including the owner, of these files no longer have Creative Cloud accounts, not sure if this could have anything to do with it as we have had ghost collaborators there for quite some time now. Please help!
Last friday I re-organized some folders/files in a shared drive. After a while it seemed CC had some issues with syncing. Now that I've restarted after the weekend, almost all shared files have been deleted! Also online (https://assets.adobe.com/files), the files are now missing.Digging into the issue, I discovered many of the files are now in my Recycle Bin (Windows). And it seems that a many files and folders have been moved to the Recycle bin in the timespan of 2 minutes. My best guess is that the files sync mechanism has lost track when I reorganized some folders and somehow remove files/folders..As forums suggested, I've tried to log into https://assets.adobe.com/files to see If I can find deleted files, but haven't found that feature/button available. How can I recover our lost files?! I feel hesitant in restoring the files from my trash can, as I'm not the only one working in these files.
I went to retrieve files from CC and they were no longer there!!! My colleague had the same issue. I found them in my trash and I never moved them there. What happened and how do I prevent this from happening again?I work remote and this is how we share files -- they are all native files and losing them means starting all over. Help!
Our files and folders are archived randomly or go missing. This issue has been ongoing for some time now and is starting to interfere with our daily workflow, this is a very disruptive issue and we would like some help to resolve it soon.None of the team who use CC have accidentally deleted any of our files/folders. It happens outside office hours, late at night or very early in the morning. In our work place we are all on Windows 10 machines, some of the team have Macs at home that sync to our CC folder. We have lost so much time trying to fix this (ie restoring from the Archive folder) Also, it is hard to find the right type of Support to get this problem fixed, every time I go to Adobe support link it just sends me round in circles, so frustrating. Really hope you can help us?Thanks,Grahame
