Digital Editions

My ADE Adobe ID is associated to an old email that doesn't exist anymore.  Today, I can't cancel the authorisation  from this old email to re-authorize it with my new email. The combinaison of my old email and current password doesn't work. I can't access my drm documents on my laptop.  

Hi I need help with downliading e books to Adobe Digital Editions. I activated ADE on another laptop and signe din on a new on to access e book and I cannot and when I try to add the manually I get the following message:I have tried the following to no avail:1) deactivting and activating2) uninstalling and installing again3) uninstalling and installing again  retarting between installing and uninstalling4) ensuring that my time and time zone are antomatically updated and correct5) allowing through my firewall none of the above has worked please help

The Adobe Digital Editions Reader is a total piece of garbage.  Really, did you guys spend five minutes developing this or what?  If you spent any more time, it certainly doesn't show.  The most glaring defect for me is the inability to change the text color.  The book I downloaded is in a shade of blue that is hard on the eyes.  The lack of ability to specify highlight colors is also an annoyance.  I will not buy another Adobe eBook until you come out with a reader with decent functionality.

I bought a book from Saxo.com. The first time i read it, I didn't authorize or make an adobe ID and now I'm unable to read it. I've since made an ID, but I can't add or erase any authorization. I'm using the same devive and the pdf file I had doesn't work anymore either. I can't download a ''new'' book from saxo either. I've tried getting help from their agents, but they're useless. Anyone tried something similar? I've also tried some of the suggestions from similar posts on the forum. 

I sent a PDF to Netgalley, which distributes ebooks in ACSM format. ADE is pulling the text layer but not the image layer. We have tried flattening the PDF, but that didn't work. See screenshots — you can see that there should be an image there. Any ideas/advice is appreciated. The author is using a design program called Affinity Publisher.

Communicatieprobleem met licentieserver E_ADEPT_NO_TOKEN.We hebben uit eerdere forums inmiddels de ereader gereset, de adobe digital editions verwijderd en weer opnieuw geautoriseerd. NIets helpt. De helpdesk verwijst naar dit forum. Wie oh wie weet wat te doen? 

J'ai acheté un nouvel ordinatuer, et j'ai réinstallé ADOBE DIGITAL EDITION.Je ne peux plus ouvrir aucun manuel contenu dans la bibliothèque.J'ai le message suivant : ERREUR AU NIVEAU DU SERVEUR D'ACTIVATION - code E_ACT_NOT_READYJe n'arrive pas à autoriser mon nouvel ordinateur car dans le menu AIDE, la fonction "autoriser l'ordinateur" est grisée. Qui peut m'aider?Merci

Hello, I have tried to download ebooks to my e-reader, but I got a message saying that E_ACT_TOO_Many_Activations. Is this because I read the book on 3 different places i.e. pc, iphone and e-reader ? How can I solve the problem ? Thank you.

Hey There,  I brought a $40 Ebook from a bookstore about couple of days back. On the website I downloaded an ACSM file and opened it in the Adobe Digital Editions application. Once I opened it, I was asked to authorise the book. Unsure of what the Vendor ID is and how I should find my way about that, I authorised the book without a Vendor ID and was able to view it on my PC. But a few days later I accidentally erased this authorisation, upon doing that I thought it's okay, Ill just authorise it again but no. When I tried to reopen the book it asked me for the Vendor ID and Password. So at first I thought, okay maybe now it wants me to authorise the book through a vendor ID but when I plug in an email address and a password it says , "The Vendor Account you entered is not associated with the item you are trying to open". In the first place I didn't authorise it with a Vendor ID how and why is it asking me for a Vendor ID now? I cant access the book anymore and I am stuck, Plea

Hi,I read my books on my Sony ebook, at work on my PC, at home on my PC. I'd like to have all my annotations (especially highlights) in sync. How can this be done?Thanks,d__steiner

If I have a hyperlink in an epub, I can click on it and Digital Editions will jump to the target page. However, I can find no "back" button, or equivalent. How can I get back to where I was?  I am currently setting a bookmark before clicking on a hyperlink, but this is not a good solution. 

Why isn't there a button that I can click on that takes me to the previous page?  For instance, often I click on a link that takes me somewhere else in my epub magazine.  There should be a button I can click on to take me back to the previous page I was on.  Calibre as well as other epub readers have this feature and it is great!  Please add this as it is very frustrating.  Also I just want to say thanks as this is the best epub viewer I have found when it comes to annotation.  Keep up the good work!  I would love to be able to use this program as the one and only app for epubs in the future!

I've had Adobe Digital Editions on my iPad for years, and all of a sudden it's stopped working properly. I can only read a few pages of my ebooks then the pages fade out,  I tried deleting the app, and reinstalling. That's when one of my eBooks disappeared and I get a Connection Error - make sure you are connected to the internet.  I tried de-authorising and re-authorising.  Nothing has worked.  My eBooks don't appear as full pictures, only half sized. I'm thinking there is a problem connecting with Abobe.   

I had to uninstall Windows 11 and reinstall Windows 10 and in the process, lost my Adobe Digital Editions.  Reinstalled and now must authorize. I'm trying to read a library book and authorization is needed. I can't erase the authorization because there is none. I keep getting the error message: "The vendor account you entered is not associated with the item you are trying to open. Try again." See screenshot.

Ik heb de oude Kobo nog en wil ook mijn nieuwe gebruiken. Die kan de software niet vinden.Hoe kan ik het nieuwe apparaat toevoegen?

I have installed and activated Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.11 on various computers and it works everywhere as expected. However, on one PC a popup is periodically reappearing, asking me to accept the licence. When I do so, Digital Editions is reinstalled, but the popup appears again after a few minutes. have uninstalled all Adobe Software, cleared all Adobe keys in the registry and all files containing Adobe in the filename on all disks. Nevertheless, the popup keeps reappearing and is blocking so far the installation of PlatformIO on said PC.Any helpful Advice?

Hello, I have a problem concerning copies of the same books, each time that I delete them, uninstall and install again adobe Digital Editions on my pc (windows) I get the same problem, they keep reappearing! Waiting for your reply, Thanks

I  just downloaded Digital Editions so I can read proceedings from a conference. I followed the instructions but cannot add theproceedings to ADE. The error message reads "Unable to add document xxx.epub. The document that you are attempting toadd already exists in the library" There is nothing in the library, can't add the "Getting started" . e-book - same message. I diddelete ADE and re-downloaded it. Is there anything else I can do? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I've tried to download a book today and it won't show up in my library? My computer is authorized. 

I had ADE and it asked me to updated it to 4.5 version. I did and it never opened again. It is just a white screen, I uninstalled and reinstalled a bunch of times and nothing happened. I want to download an older version but I can't find any

Guten Tag, ich habe zwei Adobe IDs. Dies führt beim Ebook-Kauf immer wieder zu Problemen. Deshalb würde ich die Bücher gerne auf eine Adobe ID übertragen und das andere Konto löschen! Ist das möglich?

Hallo, habe ein Buch gekauft und es in Adobe digital editions heruntergeladen.1. Es ist leider mehrmals heruntergeladen worden und lässt sich nicht löschen. D.h. Habe etwas 3 bis 6 Kopien; es wechselt halt.2. Das Buch ist sehr wenig skalierbar bzw. die grösste Schrift-Grösse ist sehr klein. Augen werden beschädigt.3. Funktioniert nicht mit Wörterbüchern bzw. es braucht Internet-Anschluss, was ich beim Lesen abschalte.Bei allen anderen Büchern geht das aber.4. Seiten ab ca. zwei gelesenen bleiben stecken / man kann nicht die nächste nicht aufschlagen.bereits habe ich die App gelöscht und wieder installiert, es hat nicht geholfen.danke für die Hilfe

Passing from one page to another the page number changes but the image remains blocked on the initial page.Can you help me please?

Unable to authorized computer and unable to read/ open previously saved books.Unfrotunately, I can't find any help from Adobe. I have traied with all the possiblitites, like uninstall and intall (version 3 & 4) but it didn't work.Please help.
