How can I authorise my account on two devices? When I try I get this message (attached). Why does it say I can read on up to six devices but also not let me authorise more than device? So confused - and rapidly losing time I need to write an assignment,

I have ADE on office computer, linked with adobe ID and where I've read a book. I installed ADE on home computer and linked adobe ID to read the same book. ADE correctly shows the book in my library, but when I try to open the book it displays "Unable to download. Error getting license. E_ADEPT_UNKNOWN" What to do?

I have Adobe Creative Suite 6 on a new Windows 10 PC. Did not realize that Acrobat X could not open .epub files. Can the Acrobat DC reader open .epub files?InDesign CS6 can export but not import .epub. Most ebooks I have purchased have been in PDF format. The EPUB I need to open is a simple free user guide for some software I'm considering. Is Adobe Digital Editions the easiest way to open this? Not concerned with authorizing the document on which computer because it's a free unrestricted document. Want to keep the PC as free from extraneous programs as possible.Thanks

Hello,I purchased BQ Cervantes 4  e reader and authorise it with Adobe account. I can read boooks on computer authorized by same Adobe account. When I transfered books to e reader, I can not read them, it shows, that e reader is not authorized. I deathorize it and then authorise, butit does not work.I plead for solution.

I downloaded an e-book that opens up using Adobe Digital Editions. I need the e-book to be read to my dyslexic daughter by her computer using the text-to-speech application on her Mac (Version 10.4.10; 1.83 GHz Intel Core). Text-to-Speech dosen't seem to be supported by Adobe Digital Editions. Am I missing something? I would never have downloaded the book if I thought the text-to-speech wouldn't work. With all the people out there with learning disabilities why would you create a product that downloads e-books that doesn't allow for the computer to read them? Any up-grades in the future?

I updated my ipad to IOS15, but the Digital Editions app no longer properly opens my books. i get either blank pages or if I'm luckily every other page.... so when will the app be updated to work correctly?

Hi everyone.I have struggled with digital editions in both new 4.5 and old 3 version options and have managed to download DIGITAL EDITIONS It has driven me mad for MONTHS.Today I found a work around.I installed Firefox as a browser and was able to download version 3. Haven't tried 4.5 but prefer 3 anyway.I had to accept that the file was open to being a problem, red exclamation mark, to download it but everything is now working as it used to do earlier this year.Might be worth a try for others who, like me, use it for library books.Best of luck.Linda

I am not able to highlight the text in a book I have downloaded into Adobe Digital. Can someone please help? I have tried click and drag but it only highlights in dark blue and then the drop down that contains highlight cannot be clicked.Thank you,Ruth5D83

Buongiorno ho un problema per leggere i libri con protezione id DRM ADOBE.  ho scaricato l'APP DIGITAL EDITION ma quando cerco di aprire un file protetto mi dà il seguente messaggio di errore: errore durante il recupero della licenza.problema di comunicazione con il server della licenza E_ACT_NOT_READY.se guardo le impostazioni di Digital EDITION risulta collegato al mio account quindi non capisco. L'unica cosa non mi ha mai richiesto la password di Adobe e non riesco a trovare dove inserirla potete aiutarmi grazie

Today Adobe Digital Editions crashed, and I lost hours and hours of work. When I reopened the book I had been reading, all my annotations and highlights were gone. I contacted support and was told to post here, even though a similar thread from 2020 has received no fixes. Please help! 

In just the last while I am not able to download my boods from the overdrive libray to adobe digitial editions.I get a message that I am not conncted to the internet but I am and am able to get other websites. I have a mac book pro. Help chat line could not help me. Please advise what the glitz is. 

Uploaded SCORM file in LMS, when I click preview course it says "Adobe is not responding". How can I correct this?

I have tried multiple times, with multiple files and multiple restsarts, but I am continuously getting this message:"Digital Editions could not connect to the fulfillment server. Please make sure you are connected to the internet."I am connected to the internet.  How do I resolve this issue so that I can read books on my Kobo.   

I successfully download the ascm file from the library but when I click on it ADE opens and then stops responding when it gets to the right hand side as shownbelow. The only thing you can do is close the program and send report to Microsoft. I am running windows 10 on my laptop. I have seen this problem mentioned but still no response from adobe.  Is there a solution?Melody

Two weeks ago the ADE stopped working.  It would crash as soon as I plugged in my nook.  After a half dozen or so restarts, uninstall and reinstalls, deauthorizations, authorizations, etc etc, I reached out to BN and they told me that Adobe made a change on their end without notification, and a patch was needed to the nook So a week or so later that was released, installed on my nook, and lo and behold.  The ADE is still not working,  It crashes immediately upon opening.  Since one cannot read a library book without ade, seems to me that adobe no longer wishes to provide this software.  Any comments or response from Adobe?  

I just need to vent...why does ADE have such regular issues? I'm a regular user of Overdrive, both with Libby (which is superb BTW) and ADE + Kobo & Nook.Periodically, ADE just refuses to work. I have to do the usual escalating fixes: reauthorize the device > reauthorize ADE > reinstall ADE... In this current iteration of garbage-ness, ADE completely freezes after fulfilling an ACSM file from Overdrive. Reinstall to no effect. I guess some software update is causing it to have a melt down....? I mean, I know its free...but what a piece of crap.(There...I feel better...)

Adobe Digital Editions is an embarrassing joke of a product. I’m surprised Adobe even has it because it must make customers hate Adobe more than Adobe saves on not improving it. Aside from the amateurish 1990s appearance and interface, it barely works. It crashes all the time and I have to reinstall it and redownload my books. Making it the only application to read proprietary DRM and forcing universities to use it is nothing more than a scam. On top of putting out a crap product they don't offer support and instead have a support community. And how about a decent annotation function like any other ebook reader?

I use Adobe Digital Editions without problems for years, but suddenly it stopped working properly. I keeps trying to load the library, but nothing happens! What can I do? Do I have to reinstall or is there another better solution without losing my books. Thanx for responding Karin

Liebe Community,ich habe eBooks mit meinem Kobo Aura erworben und hatte zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch keine Adobe ID. Nachdem das Display meines Kobos plötzlich nur noch 50% anzeigte, aber keinerlei Reaktion mehr auf jegliche Eingabe zeigte, habe ich einen Tolino Shine gekauft.Ich habe meine eBooks am PC heruntergeladen und meinen Rechner ohne ID bei ADE autorisiert.Als ich die vom PC übertragenen Bücher auf meinem Tolino öffnen wollte, kam die Meldung, dass ich die Inhalte nur mit Adobe ID öffnen kann. Ich habe also eine Adobe ID erstellt, in meinem Tolino hinterlegt und die eBooks öffnen wollen. Jetzt kommt aber die Fehlermeldung „E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER“.Die Kurzform meines Problems: eBooks ohne Adobe ID gekauft, Kobo Aura völlig defekt, eBooks ohne ID auf den PC geladen, eBooks auf Tolino ohne ID übertragen, öffnen geschützer Inhalte nur mit ID möglich, ID erstellt, PC und Tolino mit ID autorisiert, eBooks lassen sich nicht öffnen, da LizenzfehlerIch wäre euch sehr dankb

Als ik ADE open, worden de boekenkasten niet weergegeven. Hoe krijg ik die weer terug?

La cuenta del proveedor no está asociada con el elemento que intenta abrir, inténtelo de nuevo es el mensaje que arroja la aplicación Adobe Digital editions cuando intento abrir un libro electrónico comprado hace días. ¿que está ocurriendo? Ya hice un refrescamiento de la contraseña...
