I made an epu 3 from In design with various animations, about 400 pages weighing about 70 MB. On books and on ADE OSX everything works correctly, on ADE Windows there are very gross errors, the animations don't work and the page layout is skipped on several pages. I tried splitting it into smaller files and saw that these also work correctly on Windows. However, I need to create a complete file. Does anyone have an answer? 

Hi, I am reading one Book (.acsm by Wiley) on diffewrent devices (<6) while reading I make notes with the Digital Edition tools and set bookmarks. When I pick up reading on an other device the notes and bookmarks do not appear. What am I doing wrong? Each Digital Edition install on the different devices is authorized with the same Adobe ID. Looking forward to your reply. Claudia

Hi I have the following error in ADEE_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONSThe links all direct to customer services however, they are spectacularly hopeless and after spending several hours on chat to them over several days they keep sending me back to the forumDoes anyone have any solutions to this??? Below is from the Adobe Support pages, unfortunately the support team are completely unable to do anything:IssueWhen you launch Adobe Digital Editions, you are asked to authorize the product. Then, the error E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS is displayed, indicating that all the authorizations allowed for Adobe Digital Editions on that machine have been used.Sometimes, you don't receive the error, but run out of activations after switching machines or replacing hardware.SolutionIf you received the error E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS, or run out of activations, contact us to have the activation count reset.

I am so confused. Last night I downloaded -with help from Adobe tech chat- ADE Version 4.5.11.187303.But today, I am reading the following link with says ADE 4.5.2.  for Windwos.   https://helpx.adobe.com/digital-editions/kb/install-digital-editions-20-windows.html . Is this a newer version? And if so, what improvements were made?  Just putting it out there for the computer, savy community;s input.  Don't know where to go from here. Hi! When I installed Digital Editions I was unable to login using my AdobeID so I had to use a local authorization. I activated my two eBooks and everything was ok. But then I had to reinstall Windows and therefore lost access to my eBooks. Since then I was able to login using my AdobeID but I can't activate my eBooks because they are already in use (by the local authorization that I don't habe access to anymore). Is there any possibility to revoke the activation and reactivate the books on my AdobeID? I still have the ACSM-files for both books. Thanks,Lukas

Hi there,Here's the full situation....- I used to use an old adobe ID, to an email address I won't have anymore. - I unauthorized my computer, then uninstalled Adobe ADE. I even removed a folder from the registry, on Kobo's instructions.- I reinstalled Adobe ADE, then authorized it with the NEW adobe ID.- Since the books still wouldn't work, I contacted Kobo (several times).- Kobo reauthorized my account to work with the new adobe ID.- I was able to download about half of my books and have them work with the new adobe ID...but the other half still don't work, and are still getting the E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER error.- I discussed this with Kobo (again) and they said my account shows it should work for those books, and I should contact Adobe.- I chatted with someone on the Adobe chat, who told me how to authorize my computer (which has definitely been done, with the new ID), and then they sent me to these forums.So.... can anyone help me?  I have nearly 500 books with

Digital editions have worked fine since I installed it.  This week, I wanted to borrow some EPUB books from the library and the system is downloading them but then they don't show in My Library. Is like I never downloaded anything.  HELP!!!

I just installed ADE, was unable to authorize using my account. Was able to authorize just my computer, was able to authorize if I created a new account. The only difference was that my existing account has 2FA enabled. I disabled 2FA, and was easily able to authorize. Please fix this program so that 2FA is supported.

I would like to know if ADE gets feature improvements and a new version #  is pushed out, how do I get the newer verison?**Will ADE update automatically?**And if not, then how to I deactivate the old version and install the new version?  Today (6/9/21) I installed ADE Verison 4.5.11.187303.   First time user.And it was not recognizing my user id / password.I had tech chat successfully help and unistall and remove key registries and then reinstall ADE. **Would this be the same procedure for newer versions?I think I could do it on my own.  But what a pain.Just trying to give myself a heads up.Thanks. 

6/9/21- I am a first time user of this platform. Using it for epub books from local library. They switched their platform from Overdrive/Libby to YourCloudLibray.  I must say ADE is lacking majorly. When you compare this platform to others,  major, major improvements are needed. I am using Windows 10.Here are my initial observations and requests for improvement. Please pass along to developers. #1)  DARK MODE  -  this is essential. Others over the years have also inquired about this feature per your forum.. This is extremely useful b/c without it the brightness of the screen hurts my eyes and it doesn't drain the battery on my windows tablet. Thus,  Dark mode or  Sepia needed.#2)  No touch / swipe to next page.  Only can advance with hitting arrows at bottom to turn page. Annoying.#3) No link to look up vocabulary words if connected to internet.  ADE was installed to read books offline.But even in Overdrive when connected to wifi t

Hello! Although I have tried all the solutions that the customer service recommend (use older version), I cannot scroll the pages of the book. 

I have downloaded Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.11 and when I try to recuperate the book I borrowed, it seems to attach it to Adobe Acrobat Reader.  Your support mentions installation problem.  I have installed and uninstalled and installed it numerous times and I still get the same message.  Also, I cannot change the program with which I want to open the file (book). 

Following the "error" message on my Kobo, I de-authorized ADE. Now I can't re authorize it as it doesn't recognise my Adobe ID. Is the ID a one time use number, and if so how do I get a new number.? 

Whenever I upload a book from my local library, ADE crashes. I need to force quit out of it every time and every time, the book is not uploaded into the software so I can't transfer it to my Kobo.- I've tried with different books.- I've changed from 3.0 to 4.5, to 3.0, to 4.5-I've authorized and deauthorized many many times.- I've disinstalled, reinstalled...- I've downloaded the book as a file, then tried to upload it.- I've tried to add it automaatically as it downloads (open with) If it helps any, the look of the software has changed too. (bookshelves are gone??)(This is while crashed. The book shows as being there, but I need to force quit and it'll be gone.)Help?(It works on my husband's computer though.)

Hi I am new to Adobe digital editions and I'm confused about a feature. The book I have downloaded from NetGalley has an orange label on the top saying "54 days". Does this mean the book will no longer be accessible after 54 days? Why is this and how can I keep this book for a longer period of time?

So the file for the book is a acsm. And im using the digital edition app on an android phone. I am able to read the text in the book with no problem but the pictures (wich is a must for me to see) wont load fully, so only half of the picture is visible. I'v tried different connections but that dosen't seem to do anything. Does anyone have similar problems or know how to fix it?  

I need to update the email that Digital Editions has saved as my default ID. My email is updated on my Adobe account as a whole but not on Digital Editions. I have deleted and redownloaded the application as well as deleting the application data manually. It still has me saved under an old email which is stopping me from transferring ebooks to my ereader. How can I update my email? 

Hello Everyone, so I recently downloaded Adobe Digital Editions on my MacBook, and when I tried to open an e-book, I got an access error shown. I then tried deauthorizing my ADE and that did not work due to the following: ADE asked for the password respective of the authorized ID. The problem is, the authorized ID is based on an invalid email address. I do not use that email address anymore and so I have no idea what the password could be. As such, I am unable to deauthorize ADE and cannot access my e-book. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. 

Because I had difficulty signing in, I changed my password to Adobe. I read the forums and when Glowlight Plus Nook did not work with the recently downloaded Digital Editions 3, I deauthorized and then authorized Digital Editions. Still not working. I was thinking I have a new Adobe ID now, but do not know how to communicate that to the Nook. There is a place to add an Adobe ID, ie the email address which is the same and the password which is new, but the Nook will not take it. So frustrating. Bought the Nook a year ago, and for a long time, it worked with Digital Editions 3.5, then stopped. Now, cannot get the Nook to communicate with Digital Editions. 

I bought some ebooks that need to be made readable by Adobe Digital Editions. My problem is now that the mail address that I orginally the books downloaded with doesn't exists anymore. I don't have the chance to use it for downloading the books again. Is it somehow possible to download them with one of my other mail address? If so how? The shop that I originally bought them with can't help me with this.
