In ADE is it possible to add another email address  in the Authorisation Information dropdown along with the default one?

Hello, I am getting the following error on several windows 10 computers in a school:-Connection Error DetectedDigital Editions could not connect to the fulfillment server. Please make sure you are connected to the Internet. I have tested on my mobile phone using my own data and works fine . I believe the broadband provider must be blocking something. Please can someone advise me what needs to be unblocked for this to work properly

Hi, I downloaded 2 books to ny Kobo last night and when I try to open them I'm getting the above message. Have been using my Kobo and ADE successfully for a year now. I checked settings on the kobo on ADE and it says it is authorized. Any ideas anyone?

Hi. First I had trouble moving a library book to my Kobo. The msg said that I had to authorize my ereader (it was already authorised). I de-authorized and then re-authorized it. Still couldn't open the book. I could open it on my Windows 10 laptop however, so the book loan was OK.Then the Devices display on my ADE page on my laptop lost all its bookshelves. The Kobo ereader device showed up as attached however I couldn't open it.I also can't add any Bookshelves, and none of the books that I own (as opposed to library copies) are showing.Basically my left hand menu display just shows Kobo eReader and Bookshelves (like folders but with no contents)I did a factory reset but nothing has changed except that the library books I had borrowed previously, and which were able to be opened, disappeared.I have owned this Kobo for about 4 years and probably downloaded about 1,000 library books. Is this a Kobo problem or ADE?

Hi, trying to download ACSM files to my windows comupter. Get the classic connection error detected message. Have tried: re-install, erase and log on again with adobe id, restart computer and also inactive fire-wall. Nothing works. Would appriciate some help, really need to access it for study. 

Hello, why the Digital edition on a PC does not display the book correctly? It is working on my android phone. 

I'm quite disappointed in Adobe's ADE stupid app !!since its the only app that opens licensed PDF files, I have to deal with the worst app I ever seen. very poor, stupid and un-reliable app !!I've countered all kind of problems with that app since many months when I bought books from Google play books and wanted to open them on my PC.I've contacted both of Google and Adobe help center many many many times. it seems Adobe doesnt update that app since long time so it getting worst day after day.Each time the help center reply me they stoped support the ADE, so I have to post my problem here.my problem is that I've tired to open a book via ADE on my PC (win 10), it said (Activation server error)I've removed the book and try to add it again, it said (Check activation)I've tryied to erase authorization, but it said (Unable to erase authorization, please try after some time)I really feel its wasting time to use that app. I've really spent long time contacting both of Adobe and Google Bo

I purchased and downloaded an ebook from Booksamillion in July 2020. I was able to access it via Digital Editions as recently as January this year. Today, I tried to open it, but received a message saying that Authorization is needed. When I start the authorization process, the only vendor that is available to me is CloudLibrary. I cannot change it to Booksamillion, and I do not have a CloudLibrary account. How do I fix this so I can access this book?

I recently had to reset my computer. I redownloaded ADE today and tried to reopen my textbook. It will not open for me. It asks for authorization, but does not give me the option of changing the Vendor ID. The drop-down menu is grayed out and unclickable. I have input my adobe ID, but I don't think it will work without changing the Vendor ID because I bought this textbook through my campus store. Help?? I have a quiz to complete TODAY!

My PDF file has Digital Rights Management (DRM) which restricts the number of printed copies I can generate via Adobe Digital Editions (ADE), however, the size of the printout is shrunk by some percentage depending on the printer I selected.  For example, on my HP Deskjet printer, a 5" x 7" image comes out 4-3/8" x 6-3/16", even though on the printer preferences dialog box, I selected the actual size (100%) for the printout.  It seems ADE adds margins on the side of the page which shrinks the content actual size.  Does anyone know how I can print via ADE without the margins added on or tell me the percentage of shrinkage on the printout from the actual size of the content on the PDF?     Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I downloaded ADE 3.0 because the upgraded version does not work. But this one freezes each time I download a book. And I have not managed to download more than one or two after shutting down my computer each time! I need ADE specially for .ascm extensions books so as to download it on my Kobo nia reader. Can anyone help?! I have been on this for days! I have desauthorised and reauthorised, unistalled and re installed...

License Server Communication Problem: already fulfilled by another user"I contacted the E-book provider (takealot) and requested the ACSM token and they are not able to help me.Takealot said that the codes were redeemed without an adobe ID. Is there any way you can confirm that the books were redeemed on my account.They said that the book codes are locked due to it being claimed without an adobe ID. Hello,When I open Digital Editions on my computer, nothing appears. I cannot see my Biblioroms or the books I have downloaded. Here's everything I have already done : - Install and uninstall the application (both version 3.0 and 4.5.11 Windows), several times.- Clear the cache and cookies on my computer.- Restart my computer, and this, several times.- I authorized the computer (and remove the authorization and I gave it back, etc.)I spoke with an Adobe technician on the phone and he had no skills to resolve my problem. Can someone help me? I am desperate and I have no more solutions. Have a good day.

I am helping an author publish her eBook. She wrote a book in InDesign (16.1) using a Windows 10 computer. She exported her book as a PDF. We intend to distribute the eBook with Adobe DRM and Adobe Digital Editions (ADE). However, some Times New Roman PS characters in her eBook render with distortions — see the attached image of a sample of such distortions in the letter "p."We have tried multiple InDesign export options, but we cannot resolve the font-distortion problem. Can someone point me in a direction to learn more and help her fix this problem in her eBook?

Wanting to know how people on a terminal server can access the same Ebook. ref - https://community.adobe.com/t5/digital-editions/installing-adobe-digital-editions-on-a-terminal-server/m-p/5905013#M21837 We have purchased the book and signed into adobe with an account and it works for 1 users but when someone else logs into the server and opens the same path, we enter the same email address that it was activated on and get an error. Is it possible to run this on a terminal server?

I installed a new Windows 10 PC and Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.Even if I can open books in my ADE library, the app only shows the cover page.The cusrsor moves but pages no not appear visible.I am in a hurry for tight time-table, so what can I do.Regards,Ilmo Kalkas
