Digital Editions

Hello. I bought a book from "leslibrairies.ca" and i am trying to open it in Adobe Digital Editions because the file is URL.acsm format. I activated the Adobe id (the same email i used to buy the book in "authorized  users" section, and i put the same password). When i open the file in Adobe digital editions, it tells me E_LIC_ALREADY_FULLFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER. How can i resolve the problem? I have an exam next week and it's very important. I downloaded a pdf purchased from BN to my Win 10 PC. ADE says it needs an unlock key. BN key (name and card number) does not work. epubs work fine. Yes ADE is authorized. BN sent me here. Help.

I have to move to a new PC.Trying to authorize this PC, I get an error:     Anmelde-ID/Kennw. f. ausgew. eBook-Anbieter ist falsch. Erneut vers.translated:     Login ID/password for eBook providers is incorrect. Try again.Credentials are definately correct. Copy/Paste from PWD-Manager and no problem to authenticate with Adobe in the Web.What can I do? 

I recently bought a Kindle and would like to move the books I purchased on Ebook.com to the device. To do that I have to change the format and I have no idea how to accomplish that. If anyone can help that would be great!I have to convert from Adobe Digital Editions to AZW format. How do I get it on my Kindle?

My Tagus Gaia Eco is not recognized by ADE. Anyone knows if these are compatible and how to transfer books from ADE into this ebook? Thanks 🙂

I cannot get an ebook I bought from a publisher days ago to download the .ascm file to my 8 inch Samsung Android tablet. I can see from reviews at the Google Play Store this a chronic issue and the app's rating is low. I got the ebook to download to ADE on my little iPhone, but not my Android tablet. I keep getting the following error message: Unable to download. Error getting licence. Licence Server communication problem: E_Act_Not_Ready. What is the solution??? There seems to be solutions for other MS platforms and iOS, but not for Android. Fix this bug!

I need help to login into my adobe digital editions. I cannot figure out what my login id is or my password and I need a reset somehow and I would really appreciate it in a timely manner. I have been on the chat and trying to figure this out for almost 3 hours. Thanks in advance.

Hola. He cambiado mi ordenador y he tenido que descargarme otra vez el Adobe Digital Editions. Pero en el nuevo ordenador no puedo abrir los libros que tenía en el viejo ordenador y que guardé en el nuevo. Me pide que autorice el acceso con mi ID de Adobe y mi contraseña, pero no me las reconoce. He intentado cambiando la contraseña y tampoco he podido acceder. Me podéis ayudar? Muchas gracias. 

Hi,I am receiving the following error message "Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem: already fulfilled by another user" I contacted the E-book provider (takealot) and requested the ACSM token and they are not able to help me. Takealot said that the codes were redeemed without an adobe ID. Is there any way you can confirm that the books were redeemed on my account.They said that the book codes are locked due to it being claimed without an adobe ID. I bought a lot of ebooks many years ago. I have a special read-device but I want to open my epub files on my android phone version 10 and to my window 10 pc. How do I add these epub files from onedrive/google drive to my devices?? Add them to the library in the Adobe digital editions 4.5 ??

Hello. I'm attempting to read a book with JAWS for Windows, version 2021, in Digital Editions 4.5, on a Windows 10 PC. Each page of the book has a header at the top. When JAWS is reading through the book it reads the header twice, and skips some text. So each page of the book begins with having its header read out loud, then some words are skipped.Are there any settings I can change to improve the screen reader experience in Digital Editions? I've tried setting it to full screen, with no effect.Thanks.

I am trying to authorize the app on my iPad but it says my username and password are incorrect.  I just set up the account and I am logged in to the Adobe website.  I even reset my password and still not working.

I recently installed ADE on a new computer and authorized my computer to get access to my books.However, on the new one I only get "Bookshelves" and then if I add a bookshelf, it disappears after closedown. I have seen other posts explaining about a drop down menu next library, but I have no such thing, and even when I magically do get a book or two (of the many I have) added, they will disappear and so will the bookshelf I made.On top of that it just freezes all the time.  Does anyone have a clue?

Since I recently purchased a new eReader I wanted to merge the adobe id's so that I can view my ebooks on the new device.However, I cannot merge the id's as I'm supposed to. When I try to log in onhttps://adeactivate.adobe.com/adept/en/JoinAccountLoginForm.jspI only get "Unexpected error".Note that this is not what I get when I chose a wrong password (tried that on purpose) so that my log in data is correct. I can also log in with my adobe id on the adobe website without problems. Also tried to use the vendor ids from the ereaders with the respective passwords, but I get "Unexpected error", too. I already contacted the adobe support but they told me that the would not offer support for this, since ADE was a free product. After pointing out that adobe does indeed make money off of it they simply replied "what has this to do with the consumer.". Way to go adobe, I made screenshot in case no one would believe that. Anyway, in case someone can help me I'd be very grateful. Otherw

Bonjour,  J'ai un Adobe ID et j'avais tous mes livres sur mon ancien ordinateur.  Avec le nouveau, quand je télécharge ADE il ne s'ouvre pas et j'ai un icône de 4cm X 4cm qui s'ouvre au milieu de mon écran avec lequel je ne peux pas intéragir. Est-ce que quelqu'un peut m'aider afin que je puisse retrouver mes livres et utiliser ADE Merci.

Adobe, please consider fixing this product. If you minimize the application when no books are open it crashes consistently. At least this is the case on Windows 8.1.

I need to deploy out ADE 4.0.3 to multiple machines via SCCM.  I have it working via .bat, however, the .exe prompts the machine to install Norton Security Scan at the end of the install.  Unfortunately, the /s (silent) commandline switch doesn't bypass that prompt.  The install will prompt for Norton during each install attempt on a machine (up to 3 times; at which point subsequent installs do not prompt).I need an .exe provided by Adobe that does not have that Norton prompt or be notified of a command line switch that will deny the prompt.  Thank you.
