Een nieuwe KOBO Forma ereader gekocht en ADE 4.5.1 op de Mac gezet.Nu ziet de computer de ereader wel maar de ADE ziet hem niet.Dus geen apparaat zichtbaar. Kobo kan niet verder helpen.Wie heeft een oplossing?

Bonjour, ADE 4.5.11 me dit que j'ai atteint le nombre maximum de machines autorisées par ID et que je dois le réinitialiser.Comment dois-je faire ?Il me dit de contacter le support technique, mais ADOBE me répond que c'est un programme gratuit donc que je dois passer par ce forum... Merci de votre aide

I can't get ADE to connect to the fulfillment center to download the ACSM files. It just gives the error message about not connecting to the server and to check my internet. I've tried uninstalling ADE and installing both 2.0 and 3.0. Deauthorizing and reauthorizing my computer. Nothing's changed about my firewall when it worked four days ago. This software is so damn frustrating. 

First of all, I have to say that I am dissappointed in Adobe's lack of support concerning these issues.I am forced to use this app for a course textbook and I am  not able too zoom.The zoom options are grayed out. I have spend many hours to try and fix these issues. I have tried everything that I could think of.Is there any sollution to this? 

Buenas hace un tiempo que uso adobe editions para trabajar, mi problema deriva de que me he cambiado de ordenador y el url link me dice que ya esta registrado a otro usuario, pero  mi pc viejo dice lo mismo y no he cambiado de cuenta en ninguno de los dispositivos. Si alguien me pudiera ayudar lo agradeceria.

I am getting a E_GOOGLE_DEVICE_LIMIT_REACHED error each time I try to add a book to my library (I recently added this same book to my library but since I was not able to log in to my adobe account and I was in a hurry I authorized it only to that device and not through my Adobe ID) now that I am trying to authorize it to the account in general it is not allowing me to. I have already tried deauthorizing that specific computer, uninstalling ADE on that computer, uninstalling it on all of my computers and deauthorizing everything on all of my computers (using the whole ctrl+shift+D and then deauthorize option through ADE) as of right now nothing has worked. I went through support, (because the help page says that the only way to fix this issue is to contact support and have them reset your activation count https://helpx.adobe.com/digital-editions/kb/e-act-too-many-activations.html but support was not able to help me so they sent me here. 

Hi, I have a Sony PRS T1 ereader connected to my imac. I have  downloaded a DRM ebook using ADE with logon.  In the library I see the book and can read it on my imac (authorised) but my Sony reader doesn't appear in the library when I launch ADE with the Sony connected.  How do authorise the ereader and  transfer my new book if I don't see the reader in library listing?

I have been using digitail for years. All of a sudden when I go to download an epub ebook and will not let me. When I try to copy to ibrary it shuts down. I have to reboot it up, sometimes it will show icon so I can get a book or it takes forever to pop up.  Help please

Hallo,ich erhalte beim Kopieren von ascm-eBooks von Kobo in den ADE folgende Meldung:                E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USERWas bedeutet das? Ich habe das Adope-Konto gelöscht und neu installiert, aber die Meldung erscheint weiterhin.Danke für Ihre Unterstützung.

I have downloaded an eBook from which I would like to select, copy and paste text. How do I do this? I have ADE 4.5.11.187245 installed to read the eBook.  Thank you, 

Hi there, I downloaded a (payed) eBook. (in fact, that was a .acsm file, - I usually have .epub only).Once clicked, it comes in ADE and I can read the "book". After that, I can copy this book to the ereader (TrekStor) with no error. BUT, once trying to read it on the TrekStor, it kind of reboot the TrekStor...The same on an iPad mini: the .acsm (converted to .epub) is in the ADE app but nothing show up when clicking. The computer is autorize, the TrekStor also, with the same uuid...After at least 4 hours trying to deal with this, I have no more ideas... that's why I'm asking for help!   😉 The thing I noticed is that, clicking info on this file, it says: "copy: not autorize" Why is that? How to fix this? Thank you.  😉

I can use Adobe Digital Editions OK on a day to day basis but about to help an elderly relative get up and going on an elderly ereader (Sony PRS-T1) and some conceptual questions occur to me.A document or flow chart might exist explaining this - or not (Wikipedia article and web searching not hugely & obvious informative). Questions (each followed by motivation and context)Q1: activate computer with Adobe ID, activate ereader with Adobe ID, deactivate/erase computer but leave the ereader untouched - any reason that work flow would cause problems or in future if another computer was activated with same ID to use with ereader there would be any issue? Motivation for Q1: elderly relative is not a keyboard & mouse person (they can manage a touchscreen Android phone for basic messaging) - me activating their ereader for them (on their Adobe ID) may help as the ereader model in question (Sony PRS-T1) can, I believe, directly get Adobe DRM protected content and open it for r

Hello, I have downloaded everything successfully onto my mac but once I open it, click help, then go to authorize my computer, I see where it says authorize but I can't click it. There are grey letters instead of black.  I have no idea how to fix this. Thank you.

I am working on a Windows 8 laptop. I purchased an ebook from Takealot and added it to the library in Digital Edition. But when I try to read it I get this error message. This is my first purchase of a book that has to be read on Adobe Digital Edition. Please give me some advice.  

Is there any possibility to automize the installation of adobe digital editions 4.5 and to activate it on the device without an adobe id? I've just found the parameter /S for silent-installation. but no further information.thx

HiI had to replace my computer and as result had to re-install Adobe Digital Editions to access Study manuals that I had bought. I can see the manuals but when I click on one it prompts me start the Authorisation process with a Vendor ID. It then prompts me to continue. When I click continue it says that the computer is not authorised to open study packs because this item is authorised to the Vendor ID.I cannot remeber the Adobe ID & Password that was used at the begining. The Publisher has no record of these either. What do I do to reset the Adobe ID & Password.

Can someone walk me through the steps of getting my textbook on my phone app, as well as my desktop computer? It's on my computer now, I just want to make it accessible on my phone to look at whenever I want. 

Hi,I have just purchased a very expensive ebook for university and when I try and download it I get the following error message: E_ACT_NOT_READY I think (not sure) that this is because my adobe digital additions app on my Mac is currently authorised with an old account. I cannot erase authorisation as I do not know the password for that account and the email address no longer exists (it was from a previous education institution.) I purchased the ebook on my new adobe account which is associated with my current email but I cannot figure out how to add a new authorisation without erasing my previous authorisation (which I cannot do). What do I need to do to fix this? 

I just lost everything from all my work today. All highlights and most importantly - notes - from studying today has been lost once I reopened Digital Editions. When going into the "Navigation Panel" and then "Bookmarks" I can see old highlights and notes - but nothing from today (the scrolling function has also been off and it kept loading). So I have 3 questions: 1. How can I get my notes and highlights back and prevent that from happening again?2. How can I fix the sudden slow scrolling?3. If those two questions cannot be answered: How can I move my notes and highligts over to another reader application? 

ADE has gradually gotten worse with the program crashing when making "highlights".Before it was once in a while, but now it crashes contanstly.I'm not going to go into details with what I've tried (since this has had this behaviour since day one).Newly installed windows 10 with everything up-to-date.If not, then is there a way to export the highlight and use it with another reader program?In all honesty, I'm wiriting this as a way to vent my anger and frustration with this program (That I have used for about 3 weeks) and it's beyond garbage.

Desde la web del libro le doy a descargar ebook y me dice: Error al obtener la licencia. Problema de comunicación con el servidor de licencias:E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12. Cuando intento borrar la autorización me pone: No se puede borrar la autorización. Inténtelo de nuevo más tarde. Mi ordenador es un MacBook Pro de 2015 y ya tengo guardado dentro de la aplicación 3 libros con los que no tuve problemas. 

D.E. hasn't worked for me for months.  It continuously freezes when I import or try to open a book - double-clicking on a book does nothing and when I try to close the app down to restart I get "D.E is not responding. Shut down or wait?".    I've Googled the issue and it seems that others have experienced similar, but none of the recommended fixes  have worked for me eg renaming my folder to "old" or reverting back to an older version (4.0).  Prior to this problem, I've used D.E. without issue for a few years.  Searching the other posts on this forum I see I am not the only one who is completely frustrated that I am forced to use this product because of DRM, but Adobe appears to be doing nothing to fix the issues.  

My Documents folder is on an iCloud drive. I keep experiencing "Missing" banners on my eBooks in ADE 4.5. Selecting the "Show in Finder" option for one of these books, I saw the book was unexpectedly marked as offline in Finder. Workaround: Clicked the cloud icon on the book file to download it, and the "Missing" banner was gone. Clicked the cloud icon for the folder and my other "Missing" book files were downloaded as well. I would like to ssee ADE detect and address this condition without my intervention.

I can't open a book, and I can't deauthorize my accont.. It say I need to wait.. I have a mac.. What to do?
