Digital Editions

I just bought a document from the university. Usually, I can highlight any page even if it's an image and not a text. But using ADE, it's impossible!Please help

Je ne suis plus capable de télécharger les livres numériques empruntés à ma bibliothèque municipale sur ma liseuse KOBO aura H2O 2ième édition.

Dear community,I realized that I have some old adobe ID's for several email addresses.I cancelled all of them. When I wanted to download an e-book and open it on my Tolino it said that the adobe ID of the Tolino and the book do not match. I checked and in my digital editions I saw that still and old email address is in. To cancel it I have to enter my password. But as this old account is deleted, it says the password I have entered is wrong. Also, I have tried to reinstall it several times so that maybe I can log in with a new adobe ID. However, it always refers to the old ID and I am somehow stuck. Can anyone help me here how I can remove the old ID?

Ik heb adobe digital editions op mijn telefoon gehad,  maar verwijderd. (uninstall was niet aanwezg) Ik wil Adobe digital editions op mijn laptop hebben, maar nu geeft de laptop aan dat er een connection is met mijn telefoon, maar op de telefon is echt niets meer te vinden. Hoe kan ik nu toch gebruik maken van ADE op mijn laptop?

Is it possible to have a window or tab open to the notes section of a book while reading the main text so that it is easy to look at the notes while reading the text?

Each time I attempt to down load a book checked out from library I get the following error message: E.ACT_NOT-READY. My computer is authorized and I down loaded from library as epub but the book shows up as ASCM in documents. What am I doing wrong? What can I do to fix this problem? Appreciate any help. Thanks.I am using Mac Book Pro by the way.

Hello Everyone! I purchase a textbook through my University's bookstore and followed the instructions for downloading Digital Editions to be able to access the book. When I got to the point of "Authorizing my Computer", I entered in my login details (I know these are correct), and I get the "activation server error" code "E_ADEPT_REQUEST_ EXPIRED". It will not let me proceed to my textbook without this being completed. I have seen other threads that suggest that my computer's time is incorrect, but it's matched to my timezone and hasn't been touched in months. Also, I purchased this textbook TODAY! How can it be expired already?  Please help! 

Compre un libro en el fondo de cultura economica de Mexico, ellos mandan un link con terminación ACSM y las instrucciones para descargar el Adobe Digital Editions.En la MAC si se puede ver el libro, una vez que se descarga en la MAC, pero no se puede usar el Link en la ipad, inclusive, ni utilizando la cuenta de Adobe ID.¿Porque no funciona como Kindle donde puedo ver mis libros en todos los dispositivos que tengan mi cuenta?Como saben en las iPad no hay entradas para USB para usar en la "ayuda" que envianCreo que esto de Adobe Digital Editions en una porqueria

Hello,I have the following problem, I can't return books that I have downloaded and used via the Adobe Digital Editions app on my smartphone.Tutorials only show how to return books on a PC. Did I do something wrong? I have transferred the downloaded files to my smartphone and opened them via the app.Greetings

my compute is authorized but I am unable to authorize my kobo ereader

I purchased an e-textbook (as recommended by my prof) and there is absolutely no way for me to scroll from page to page (in other words, I cannot turn the page).  It's going to be pretty hard for me to read the textbook if I cannot actually access it.  Have tried what I've read in other forums however I still cannot turn the pages.  It absolutely blows my mind that this could be an issue that is unresolved.  Literally unbelieveable.

Hello together I am logged in with my Adobe-ID on three devices but my E-Books are not being synchronized. I checked the Adobe- ID (urn:uuid:) and it definitely is the same on all devices. Does someone have an idea what the problem could be?  Best regardsSimon

Does anyone use an eReader which does NOT need ADE to read borrowed books from a public library? I've been struggling for soooo many hours to get my reader to work with this %/"*?$ app and I want nothing more to do with it! I can't even get an answer from Adobe on how to fix the problem. And Kobo is not better: it's not their problem, it's a problem with Adobe. Except I can use any other application with their reader. So, from my point of vue, it's both their problem but they don't care because the customer are hostage. So if anyone have a suggestion for a reader which does not use ADE, please tell me!

I downloaded my dgital book to my Macbook but I need access to the books on my iphone. I have already downloaded the app using the same account but my books are not there. Please help me be able to access it. When I try to re-download the book from my school website it gives me an error message saying: Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem" E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER

Dear Adobe,  When I purchase a book I expect to be able to actually read it.  Your "Adobe Digital Editions" software is standing in the way of that. The book vendor is going to be forced to issue me with a full refund and I will tell them and their other customers exactly what happened - that Adobe's Digital Editions software is so buggy, ill-thought-out and wired so tight that it is completely unusable. In addition I'll advise them that it's not worth buying their books, regardless of quality, because there's a good chance the buyer won't be able to read them anyway due to Adobe's Digital Editions software. I'm reading comments going back for years about people experiencing the same issues with Adobe Digital Editions. Response from Adobe? Crickets. Unfu ck your piece of sh it software. Love,  Craig   

I keep getting the message that I am not authorized to open the ebooks I get from the library. I only have this issue with library books. I have tried reauthorizing my account with ADE but that hasn't worked. I am using version 4.5.1.139278 on my desktop. U have also tried reauthorizing my eReader. Both say they are using the same account. When I open the ebook it says "This book is protected by DRM. Because you previously deauthorized your eReader, you need to re-import the book using Adobe Digital Editions." I tried erasing authorization and setting git up again but it still won't work. Tried different books and libraries but still have a problem. I spoke to Kobo and the library and they said kobo it as ADE problem. I have tried the manual deauthorizing through deleting the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Adept .Please help I can't use library books because of this!

Hello, I am using Adobe Digital Editions to read books for university. It works fine until I try to highlight a word or sentence, whether to copy it or use the highlight feature. Every time I try to highlight something, the entire application crashes. I was wondering if there is any way to fix this; if I uninstalled and then reinstalled the application, would my books still be there or would I have to re-download them? I do not want to risk losing the books. Thanks!
