Digital Editions

Hello, I have a Nook Glowlight and I was downloading books from my library for a while before I tried to borrow and download a book onto my nook when I was suddenly no longer able to. When I try to login into Adobe on my Nook now it keeps saying that I have the wrong ID + password, which is not true. I have changed my password a few times but I still keep getting the same response. Before I realized that there was even an issue with my account I was trying to download books onto my Nook which the books never showed up even though when I would try to download it again, my ADE app would say that the book is already on there. Is there anything I'm doing wrong? I have no issues on the digital editions app on my computer and getting books downloaded there, the issue is solely on my Nook.  

I'm currently locked out of all my books on my Nook. When I tried to open the books on my computer, it's asking for authorization from the vendor. Digital Editions won't recognize my Adobe ID, even though I can use the same login on all my adobe products (like this community). I've installed the lastest version of adobe digital editions, but nothing. Any help is appreciated.

Any time I try to add a new book or open an existing one Adobe Digital Editions freezes. I never used to have this problem and I don't think I changed anything. I basically can't use the program because I always have to close out. When I re open it and try to open the book I just imported it freezes again. Please help. I've deauthorized, unistalled and re installed and re authorized. I tried switching from 4.5.11 back to 3.0 but nothing is working.

Hello, I'm using Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.11 and it has been freezing whenever I try to copy a library book to my kobo reader. Any idea how to fix this? I uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted my computer and still no luck.

i created Adobe id to read protected ebook with adobe digital edition. After created the id, i managed to sign in on adobe webpage but not on adobe digital edition. Error code : Vendor account you entered is not associated with the item you are trying to open. Please help 😞

Hello,I downloaded Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 to my MacBook Pro (2019) (most recent Big Sur OS) successfully under Applications.  And the Help field shows that this computer is authorized.  And then Itried to download a textbook whose publisher setup the download for this software.  But I keep getting a license error -- that says "Unable to Download -- Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:E_ACT_NOT_READY"I tried another MacBook Pro from work -- same message.I tried de-authorizing the computer but the software doesn't allow me to do that.I was however able to download this book to my iphone and an early generation ipad mini using this software.Tech support at the publisher doesn't understand the problem.  Adobe tech support said they don't support this computer.Could you suggest anything that might help?Thank you. John 

Hello,I'm wondering if I'm alone in this. My Windows app is too slow to do anything. You can't scroll in peace, you can't adjust window size. Anything you click makes the app hang instantly. It's always walking on eggshells with it.Is this a my computer issue or to do with the app? The other apps on my computer are just fine, but this ADE app is behaving so ancient I think its getting to my nerve now.  Any solutions will be appreciated. Thanks.

Desde  la ultima actualizacion en mi portatil HP con windows 10 el pasado día 1 de enero,  ADE v 4.5.11 no permite descargar libros en prestamo de la biblioteca publica. Cuando intento la descarga de ebooks , ADE me da el siguiente error : Check activation. Antes de esta última actualización no tenía problemas. ADE me indica que mi equipo ya esta autorizado. ¿Que tengo que hacer?

Después de seguir mil veces las instrucciones, instalar y desinstalar el ADE, autorizar y desautorizar el ordenador y el ebook, al conectarlo al ordenador no me lo reconoce el Adobe para poder transferir libros... He visto en el foro que más gente está teniendo problemas... por favor, podéis contestar si es por alguna actualización o por si hay alguna forma de arreglar esto o poder pasar los libros de forma LEGAL al reader.... Gracias

Can I transfer an Epub file when I'm in the DE app to my ebook reader?How do I do it?

I am downloading a textbook for a class I am taking so I can read it. I only need one version downloaded but after accessing the acsm file to get the textbook, I find that I have about five to six copies of the textbook when I only need one. I tried deleting the additional copies but they keep redownloading. Any advice as to how to deal with this inconvenience?

Hello everyone,The problem i'm having with my ADE is it isn't allowing me to view my downloaded books. It keeps showing Error!Check activation and i've uninstalled it and erased the activation multiple times.

Hi there,I have dowloaded the ADE app on my 2011 Mac. When trying to complete the authorization I am unble to change the ebook vendor as this is greyed out. I cannot enter my adobe credentials as I am trying to access books I purchased with a different vendor.How can I fix this?

Hi, so i had downloaded and authorized adobe digital editions on my laptop but now want to uninstall it but there is no option. There is an uninstall application in the program files but i have no idea how to use it. Contacted support and even they weren't able to help. i'll attach some images so the problem becomes clearer. Please help or comment if this same issue is happening with you.

I spent money to buy a book online and it was digitally signed using adobe solution. Now when I am trying to open it on different system/ laptop even after signing using adobe ID I am getting error message as E_Google_Device_Limit_Reached as per adobe - they don't sale this solution; google don't want to get into this and direct to adobe to reset limit. Where the hell customer will go who has spent their money on trusting brand like Adobe - I now started hating them. Making fool of customer and not solving the issue. if anyone got any solution. Pl respond. 

Hi,unfortunately I found no information in help of Digital Editions or a way to contact the product support so I wish to ask all of you.Some years ago I started to use ADE with a personal free license account (of course) when I bought my first e-book.In the following years my wife and my children came to me to get help at their bought ebooks for getting that visible. We all used my account or license. I never thought that this will make a problem for a family of five persons.But now we reached the point that each of us want to use ADE on more than one device, as there are PCs (best to view colour newspapers), smartphones (tiny parts, alway available), tabletts and ebook readers.Does anyone knows whether it is possible to get the account split in five parts and get the content transferred to the dedicated account? I have reinstalled Adobe Digital Editions on my PCthe books formerly added to the previous version of ADE are no longer readablethe adobeID and password created during the installation of ADE are not valid for the "old" booksI have obtained new files from the vendor of the ebooks, without any effect on ADEIt seems I used Adobe in the past via a social account, I do not remember any need for authorisationHow should I proceed to have all the books available,Thank you !

Mi sister has my ADE account in her computer and is not abble to remove it, even ussing my ID and pass. This way we are using the same ADE's libreary. Any help on how to remove my account in her computer, please?

How to find Adobe ID? Is it my adobe account email?

When I download a book on my computer's Digital Editions, I don't see it updating on my ipad Digital Editions. I deathorized on both and also uninstalled the application on both. Then I reinstalled and reauthorized onto the same log in however I do not see the library synchronzing. I was speaking with customer service representative, Sachin, who was so patient with me but we were not able to solve this.Does anyone else have trouble synching MAC and IPAD together?

Hi I purchased a book in Google Books. I am trying to export the book, I download the ascm file and when I open it in Adobe Digital Editions I get the error E_GOOGLE_DEVICE_LIMIT_REACHED. I contacted Google a week ago with no response, I don't know how to fix this. Please help!
