Hello to all in the community,my Kobo Clara HD work perfectly for about one year with ADE and I choose my Kobo reader authorizing ADE.Now suddenly when I open ADE my Kobo don't appear and I can't choose the eReader Kobo to transfer ebooks bought to IBS library.I hope to have an helpThanks a lotMario

Until just recently I've had no problems using my Adobe Digital Edition 4.5 application to capture books downloaded from my library and then to add them to my Nook. I have a MacBook Air running OS Big Sur.  A book will show on my Nook but when I click to open it I receive a message:  ERROR Book has been returned."  I've tested by downloading different ebooks  from the library and then immediately trying to open them on my nook, but receive the same error message. Can anyone advise why this should suddenly be happening and how I can corect the problem?  As usual thanks very much. Ross0D44

Hi there, I just bought an eBook from a national webstore. I needed to verify this book via Adobe Digital Editions on my laptop. But I don't want to read this book on my laptop. I want to read i on my phone via Google Play Books. I'm trying to upload the verified ePub. But I'm not able to. I'm able to upload every other eBook that doesn't need to be verified via Digital Editions, so I think this piece of software is causing my issues. Anyone knows a workaround?

The svg file generated by MathJax displays corrctly in browsers. When incorporated in an epub (attached) it displays correctly in Calibre epub viewer but in Adobe digital editions viewer on windows 10 the bottom and right edge of the character are missing. Is this a bug in ADE or am I doing something wrong?

I have successfully created several watermark images that have source files in JPG format a year ago. But now that I have new company logos to save as watermarks, I cannot get them to save in settings. It just comes up as blank when I select it for use he next time. I have tried over and over again to save these watermarks.  I tried the suggestion to a similar post from 2008, but that did not work either. I have tried with Adobe XI and with the brand new Adobe DC version on another PC, and neither can save watermark files that don't come up blank. All our PCs are on Windows 7 at the moment.As a result, whenever we want to apply these new watermarks, we have to go and browse for and find the file time and time again.

I installed ADE on my iPhone (iOS 13.4.1) and the application tells me that the username and password are incorrect (tried it more than once). The app still works on my older phone and iPad as well on my Mac, but those are not new installs. I installed other Adobe apps on the phone without a hitch. What's going on? Should I just forget it and get the Bluefire reader? How do I sync all my books to it? —It's been a month and crickets. I wonder if this forum is monitored by anyone.

I can't load ebooks from ADE to my Nook.  I have tried a bunch of different things.  I am now trying to deauthorize my account to see if that allows me to remove the library card that somehow is attached to the account.  However, when I try to deathorize i get a message asking for a vendor id and password.  I do not know what to put in there.  My library has told me that they don't have a vendor log in and I have tried my own and it won't take it.  I am beyond frustrated.  I have been trying to fix this issue for months, and no one can help me!!

One computer has 29 books while the other has 31 after sync while Galaxy s5 received none.

Nu este prima carte electronica pe care o achizitionez, mai am cateva sute, dar pe asta nu pot sa o deschid deloc si nu stiu ce sa fac. Multumesc mult pentru raspunsuri. 

Hi, I downloaded ADE in April 2019 and authorized my computer. I cannot remember my password and Adobe has no record of any of my email adresses used when I contacted them to reset my password.  I have since created a new account last week which I intend to use from now on but I need to unauthorize my computer in order to authorize my new account. Please help, my case is: ADB-16924994-S9Z5

Hej!When trying to download a book from a public library (as I've always done), I get the following error:"Error getting License. License Server Communication problem: E_ACT_NOT_READY"I checked and my e-reader (kobo) is authorised with Adobe, as is my computer (macbook).I have downloaded 4.5, but even uninstalled and tried with adobe v3.0 and 2.0.1. It doesn't work Maybe that I deauthorized my computer before downgrading the version of adobe, just trying everything... could that be an issue and how do I solve it?Anyone who can help me?Thanks!

There have probably been thousands of requests to fix this problem. Windows 10 has been around for a few years now, and it appears Adobe is not addressing the problem. We the compainants have spent substantial sums of money on our  book readers, and if Adobe are not going to do anything to help us, we might as well throw them in the bin. Please advise if Adobe has any plans to rectify the problem. 

My computer died, so I restored a backup onto new hardware.  Digital Editions installed, but won't work.  When opening an ebook, it says "Error! Check activation" Help->Authorize Computer is greyed out, implying it's already authorized.   I tried Help->Erase Authorization, but that fails telling me "try again later".   I'm running the latest ADE, 4.5.11. Any guess how to fix this?  I've tried following the support links and Contact Us links, but they are all either dead links, or lead back here.  Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I have downloaded (and re-downloaded) adobe 4.5 for windows 10 but when I run the compability check it will only give me choices for windows 8 and lower.  Does that mean it won't run with windows 10? I have been trying for some time to get overdrive to download to my computer through ADE - that works but won't transfer to my kobo.  Is there some issue with ADE 4.5 and windows 10?

hello, i bought e-book from google play store and downloaded adobe digital editions and registered. I cannot log in with my playstore ID and read my book. can you help me ?

- I have the current version of ADE- Both my computer and my Kobo are authorized to open the epub downloads from the library- when I transfer books to my kobo and go to read them later on my device, I am given the message "Your reader is not authorized to open this book. You need to re-import the book using Adobe Digital Editions"- I've deauthorized and reauthorized my computer and kobo - even going into >go to folder/library/application support etc. to erase the authorization - returned and reborrowed and downloaded the books- I've reset my kobo- I have synced my kobo Has any successfully resolved an issue like this? 

I'm facing an activation service error code : E_ACT_NO_READY with ADE. I had a chat with support and changed successfully the password. But impossible to erase authorization. Message "isunable to erase authorization, Please try after some time."I'm stuck in this chicken and egg situation!!!! What should I do to solve the problem?Thanks
