For some reason, Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 is not authorizing me even though I'm using my valid email and password.

Authorization. I can not transfer books from my local library to my Kobo because it is aproblem with the authorization. I tried  to delet authorization on the software but I dont remeber the password and Adobe password is not worling. Any idea how can I reset the pasword ?... In other hand I tried to delet adept key but my computer is windows 8 and only shows adapted and I can not export.  How can I  solve this problem and use my Kobo again for reading library books? Thanks, Juliana

  Hi, I just bought an e-book and i downloaded it and it was downloaded as Adobe digital edition 4.5.   I would like to translate this to a PDF file. But it seems like you can only do this by paying different translation tools. for instance, Epub for instance charges 25.00 to translate all 100% of ADE files I also wonder if maybe ADE might be better for school than PDF? thanks for any advice or suggestions

Ik heb Adobe Digital Editions geinstalleerd en geautoriseerd met mijn computer. Ook heb ik boeken gedownload vanuit de bibliotheek. Bij het aansluiten van mijn reader op de computer geeft Adobe helemaal geen apparaat weer. De kobo is wel verbonden.

Bonjour,J'ai essayé d'imprimer quelques pages d'un livre Dunod (en ebook) via Adobe Digital Editions mais les pages imrprimées en format A4 coupent mon texte et me laissent une bande blanche de 6.4 cm en bas de la page. C'est à dire que la page que je souhaite imprimer n'est pas complète et j'ai une marge blanche importante en bas de la page. Même en changeant les paramètres de marge au niveau de l'imprimante, le texte imprimé reste le même avec une coupure exactement au même endroit que l'impression précédente mais le changement est que la police du texte est plus petite. (le texte imprimé est toujours centré sur la page A4, il y a des marges en haut et sur les côtés mais moins grande que en bas de page)J'ai appelé le service technique d'Adobe et nous n'avons trouvé aucun soucis que ce soit au niveau de l'imprimante mais également du logiciel. Je compte appeler le service techinque de Dunod car le problème a l'air de venir du document.  Pouvez-vous m'aider s'il vous pla

I have purchased a e-pub book in a bookstore. It is not the first book, more the fiftieth or so.But this time simethings strange happened. ADE (V4.5.11) for any reason tries to automatically download the book but it always ends up with the error message found in the header to this message. The bookstore seems to have no clue. Anhyine here having a clue what to do?The book is purchased, it is not a loan. I want to read the book! Tom

I can't download my ACSM ebook on apple computer. The message states: 'unable to open. Errors where encountered in this item'. I have the latest update on Apple and on digital editions

I keep getting this error message.  Have reinstalled ADE4.5 three times since 14th December 2020.  Same error message for files from three different publisher sources.  ADE does not show up in Application Support folder.

Just bought a new Windows 10 computer.  Downloaded the latest Digial Editions and then a book in EPUB format.  Transfered it to my Nook, but it will not open on the Nook.  The Nook says the book is no longer available and has been returned.  Was able to download the book, transfer to Nook and open successfully using my old computer running Digital Editions 3.  Anyone know if 4.5 will work with the original Nooks and if not, where I can get a 3.0 Digital Editions download?

Hi there, I've read dozens of posts about the ADE library location, and understand it can't be readily changed from C:\windows\users\<username>\documents\my digital editions. Software needing data files stored in a specific location seems very 1980's, but it is what it is. My problem is my library isn't at that location, it's at C:\windows\users\<username>\Onedrive\documents\my digital editions. I don't recall ever moving it under Onedrive, but that's where it is. As I'm about to change companies / computers I want to move it to the normal (or another) location so I can then copy the directory tree under c:\windows\users\<username> to a different drive and then move to a new computer. What are the recommended steps to achieve this without damaging my library?  I've tried copying the ..\my digital editions directory but continually get a non-specific file/folder sharing error despite ADE and explorer etc being closed.  I can copy the indiv

HiI tried to borrow a book today.When I copied it to my  Kobo I got an authorisation failure.  So I tried the download and copy again....Same, but now multiple copies of the book in Editions.Have tried removing the book, deauthorising kobo and PC then re-authorising, returning then re-issueing the book, updated Adobe Digital Editions, checked that time and date are correct.  Also tried issuing the book from another library - same issue.Now have several copies of the book that keep reappearing in dEditions after being removed, and still get the error on the kobo!Have not had this problem previously when borrowing books. Thanks in advance for help 

I've got a little library  (6 books) on this machine with Win10 in ADE so that shows it has been working okay.  But I borrow a book today from archive.org and it downloads an acsm and that's all that happens.  I can't  open it (or get it to complete the download thing).  when I right click there's no option for 'open with ADE'  and when I select 'other app' and go looking I don't find ADE anywhere.What's going on?  How can I fix this?I thought it might fix it if I reinstalled ADE so I did that and it seemed to complete successfully.  But there's no change.  I still can't do anything with that acsm file.  Still can't borrow that book.

I bought a book in PDF and installed Digital Editions and have been unable to open the downloaded PDF, I've been trying for two weeks and Adobe locked me out for a while I guess becasue I was messing around too much... when I try to download a book it says "unable to download license"

This is one of the worst piece of software I have ever used. It rarely opens and when it does it does not transfer the books properly. Installing and uninstalling does nothing. The help file or webiste is full of complaints and issues and nothing is done., The programmer who did this crapware must be very proud of the garbage he spews out. Yeah delete this message.. same as I will all my Adobe subscriptions.  

I need to change my email from one that I deleted to a different one. I have managed to change the password though I did not notice the option to change my email. Please do email me with suggestions on how to take care of this and thank you in advance. Aprilapers37@sbcglobal.net

Ho fatto chiudere questo account.Ora, nel fare la installazione di nuovo di ADE mi trovo con un account precaricato sul quale non posso più fare nulla.Come posso avere un programma ADE da installare SENZA avere impostato di defayult il vecchio account?Grazie.Gian Paolo

One of my computers is authorized.Another one is not.Unfortunately the related menu option in the help menu are gray.It happens on MACs.What's the problem?

I have bought an e-pub from a publishing firm.I can download on pc but it will not open in Adobe Digitla editions, nor travel to my KoboI can see it but get told repeatedly cannot open in library view would you like to copy to library.Copy to library I click.Nothign happens 

We are not able to view an ebook and the error message is saying, " Activation Server Errorcode: E_ACT_NOT_READYDIgital Editions encountered an error on the activation server." We tried uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe Digital Editions and that did not work. Finally we tried erasing the authorization with my Adobe ID and password, while ensuring internet is connected. We get the message "Unable to Erase authorization, please try after some time." The book is lifetime use so this should not be an issue. Please advise how to get this fixed. 

E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USERalthough there is one user   New purchses when downloaded on the Mac, appeared in Library but not the old ones. In the iPhine and iPad, only the older purchaes appear.    

Dear all, I really need your help as i'm going a bit crazy here.I got a ebook Pdf version coming with a password.I can read it on my computer, even on my phone. 😊😊I'm trying to read it on my kobo reader and since 2 weeks now, it's just awful.1- the reader requested to be granted via Ade.So I did it. But Ade on my computer can't open the file with the following error message or something similar " the current version of Ade can't read pdf document having a password. Please use adobe reader". 2- the reader is still rejecting the book and asking for Ade access granting.I'm lost.Thank for any help or clue or even an explanation.Regards, K.
