Digital Editions

I am running Windows 10 (latest update) and when I clicked on 4.5.8 to start it up, it wouldn't load. I tried it from the shortcut on the desktop as well as the Start menu with the same result. Nothing changed after I restarted my computer, either. Then I tried to install 4.5.11, but the installer appears to be stuck. It shows a small percentage of the file having been installed, but all options are greyed out and the installation does not appear to be progressing. Any advice would be appreciated.

The thing is that I tried to open an ebook that I bought from the bookstore, and I chose to not using ID to authorized my computer in the first place. Then I deauthorized the computer and add the ID to the book, it all went well and I successfully opened the book again. But when I tried to open it 10 mins later, it shows that I have to log in then displayed' E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER"', I have tried so many times to reopen it and deauthorized, or with a new link that the bookstore provided. It all failed.

Just bought a new computer, but digital editions won't let me read any of my previously authorized books on it.  I'd be happy to deauthorize this computer and reauthorize, but it won't do that either.  It's possible it's not accepting my password, but I've reset it and it still won't bite.

I left the Vendor to to adobe ID when I opened the account but I actually need it to be Campus eBookstore. How can I fix this problem so I am able to view my ebook for college? 

I downloaded this app in order to download an eBook from my school however, it won't allow me to do so for some reason. It keeps coming up with the same message error: "ALREADY FULFILLED BY ANOTHER USER." Please help?

I have a kobo Touch. Software is up to date as of today. Adobe is up to date as of today. I have books on it purchased from Kobo and they work just fine. My issue is when I use Overdrive to download books and then load Adobe Digital Editions and transfer them to my Kobo, the books will show in the library but not open. I get an error message. "Oops! This document count be opened......Digital Rights Management issue"My kobo is registered with "account1".My Adobe account is "account1". My computer is authorized with Adobe. My Kobo device has also been authorized using the same account "account1". Once I authorize it I get a message saying I can now share DRM books between the two devices. However, once I open the book on the Kobo I am still getting the error message!!!I have done 2 full factory resets to my kobo, powered on and off multiple times. This is very frustrating. Please help.

I have purchased two ADE books although only one shows up on my mac os laptop. I downloaded ADE for ipad and input what I thought was my ID and password and the other book shows up on this. I cannot see both books on each device. Please help.

Hi therei have been trying to open an emagazine through adobe digital but get an error message. I'm trying to download from the "onleihe app"i do have an adobe I'd. Very frustrating what can I do help please thank you

I purchased a PDF book from boradview press, and the only option to doanload it was adobe. Adobe only installs into iphones and ipads. I installed it on my phone, created an Adobe ID. There's no search option, and no option to download pre-purchased book. I contacted costumer support through the chat and they sent me here saying "we only provide support for people with paid subscriptions". So here I am. Does anyone have any clue on how to do it? 

Unable to download an ebook to Adobe Digital Editions. Unfortunaltey, Adobe virtual assistants can't help and the sites recommendations did not work. I am getting "E_ADEPT_REQUEST_EXPIRED" and have tried everything. Not sure what to do now. Tried to call Adobe also and apparently digital editions isn't something they can help with over the phone either. Help please?? I've uninstalled and re-installed, checked time and date settings, authorized and de-authorized. I'm seeing a lot of the same responses on here. I need some real help resolving this issue! 

I am trying to download an ebook onto my macbook but I keep getting an error that says "Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:E_ACT_NOT_READY" I dont know what to do. I've downloaded books to this app before and it worked fine, but i just got a new laptop and dont know if this is the problem or not.  SIDENOTE: Everytime i go into erase computer authorization and type in my password, it says "Unable to erase authorization. Please try after some time"

I was using this for a week and it was going well, but then, it deleted all of my notes and highlights and I need them back or I will fail. If this doesn't get fixed or can't get fixed I won't be using anymore adobe products again.

I have Adobe ID and PW. I just login with my Google ID at Adobe.com. I bought the e-book. It can be read in Adobe Digital Edition. I downloaded Adobe Digital Edition. However, I cannot see the e-book that I bought. The e-book company says I can use my Adobe ID and PW, and authorize. I do not find any way to authorize, or login. Therefore, I cannot see e-book. Do you know how? The screenshots are here, and the one with Adobe Digital Edition shows just pdf files, it is not e-book that I want to see.

I downloaded the digital reader and went to change the ebook vendor to log in but it's greyed out and won't let me access it or change the ebook vendor to get to my ebooks. 

Hi guys, my adobe digital editions app does not work. I have to read an e-book but it is not responding at all. I have tried multiple times but no luck. Please help me out.

I bought a book from google play books, downloaded the EPUB-ACSM file from the library and opened it with Adobe Digital Editions. The images in the book automatically become low resolution and they sorta get pixelated. Is there any way I can fix this issue?

Hi. I have all of my school textbooks downloaded on ADE, I need help with one of the following. 1. Save them to my device 2. Save them as PDF (some of them are EPUB and some are HTML) 3. Save them to google drive or one drive or Dropbox  please help! I'm a university student 

I tried to download a file into Digital Editions but it keeps giving me E_GOOGLE_DEVICE_LIMIT_REACHED. How do I fix that? 

This software is functionally unusable. I paid good money for a textbook that I need to read for school and I can't even save my highlights, scroll without serious lag, or close the table of contents without the software skipping to the last page of the textbook. Can anyone help me get this textbook onto software that actually functions? Thank you in advance, you would save me a lot of stress this semester. 

Hi, After a long struggle with retrieving my details, i am experiencing a new hick up. Trying opening my revit ebook, I get a "Connection Error Detected". It says, "Digital editions could not connect to the fullfillment server. Please make sure you are connected to the internet. And - I am connected to the internet

Unable to download and open the acsm file. No matter how many times we try, keep getting this error message - "Error getting license. License Server Communication Problem: E_ADEPT_NO_FULFILLMENT_RESULT. Can someone from Adobe please provide guidance on how to resolve this error. It is affecting our pool of students who are using this application to open their ebook. 

I just downloaded Adobe Digital Editions to read a library e-book on my Mac. I created an ADE id as well. When I opened ADE, I found the ADE help EPUB doc, and had a quick look at it. That document opened fine with just a double-click. I then double-clicked the ACSM file I had downloaded from my library. ADE created the EPUB file and added it to my ADE library--and crashed immediately, only giving me an "ADE has quit unexpectedly" dialogue box. I opened ADE again, and saw that the library book was in the list, next to the ADE help guide. I right-clicked the library book, and selected "Read". The program quit unexpectedly again (well, not as unexpectedly as the first time, from my point of view, but perhaps twice as frustratingly).I have tried three other things, with no success:1. Double-clicking the ACSM file in my Downloads folder. This only duplicated my first failure: ADE opened again, displaying a second copy of the book--but crashed immediately. I then looked in the "Digital Edit

I have switched to a new MacBook Air and get authorization failures. I would like to erase my old account and authorization and establish a new account. This is not possible as my registred e-mail address is not valid and I have forgot my password to ADE. I have tried to delete the program and reinstall etc, but it seems that the authorization was transferred to my new computer. Appreciate any help I can get---------------------------------------------------------I found the right answer by shelleyr82706460 : In finder, under the Go menu, go to ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Digital Editions/ and delete the file <activation.dat>  (under Adobe >Digital Editions). Thank you shelleyr82706460 !
