Digital Editions

I have Adobe ID and PW. I just login with my Google ID at Adobe.com. I bought the e-book. It can be read in Adobe Digital Edition. I downloaded Adobe Digital Edition. However, I cannot see the e-book that I bought. The e-book company says I can use my Adobe ID and PW, and authorize. I do not find any way to authorize, or login. Therefore, I cannot see e-book. Do you know how? The screenshots are here, and the one with Adobe Digital Edition shows just pdf files, it is not e-book that I want to see.

I downloaded the digital reader and went to change the ebook vendor to log in but it's greyed out and won't let me access it or change the ebook vendor to get to my ebooks. 

Hi guys, my adobe digital editions app does not work. I have to read an e-book but it is not responding at all. I have tried multiple times but no luck. Please help me out.

I bought a book from google play books, downloaded the EPUB-ACSM file from the library and opened it with Adobe Digital Editions. The images in the book automatically become low resolution and they sorta get pixelated. Is there any way I can fix this issue?

Hi. I have all of my school textbooks downloaded on ADE, I need help with one of the following. 1. Save them to my device 2. Save them as PDF (some of them are EPUB and some are HTML) 3. Save them to google drive or one drive or Dropbox  please help! I'm a university student 

I tried to download a file into Digital Editions but it keeps giving me E_GOOGLE_DEVICE_LIMIT_REACHED. How do I fix that? 

This software is functionally unusable. I paid good money for a textbook that I need to read for school and I can't even save my highlights, scroll without serious lag, or close the table of contents without the software skipping to the last page of the textbook. Can anyone help me get this textbook onto software that actually functions? Thank you in advance, you would save me a lot of stress this semester. 

Hi, After a long struggle with retrieving my details, i am experiencing a new hick up. Trying opening my revit ebook, I get a "Connection Error Detected". It says, "Digital editions could not connect to the fullfillment server. Please make sure you are connected to the internet. And - I am connected to the internet

Unable to download and open the acsm file. No matter how many times we try, keep getting this error message - "Error getting license. License Server Communication Problem: E_ADEPT_NO_FULFILLMENT_RESULT. Can someone from Adobe please provide guidance on how to resolve this error. It is affecting our pool of students who are using this application to open their ebook. 

I just downloaded Adobe Digital Editions to read a library e-book on my Mac. I created an ADE id as well. When I opened ADE, I found the ADE help EPUB doc, and had a quick look at it. That document opened fine with just a double-click. I then double-clicked the ACSM file I had downloaded from my library. ADE created the EPUB file and added it to my ADE library--and crashed immediately, only giving me an "ADE has quit unexpectedly" dialogue box. I opened ADE again, and saw that the library book was in the list, next to the ADE help guide. I right-clicked the library book, and selected "Read". The program quit unexpectedly again (well, not as unexpectedly as the first time, from my point of view, but perhaps twice as frustratingly).I have tried three other things, with no success:1. Double-clicking the ACSM file in my Downloads folder. This only duplicated my first failure: ADE opened again, displaying a second copy of the book--but crashed immediately. I then looked in the "Digital Edit

I have switched to a new MacBook Air and get authorization failures. I would like to erase my old account and authorization and establish a new account. This is not possible as my registred e-mail address is not valid and I have forgot my password to ADE. I have tried to delete the program and reinstall etc, but it seems that the authorization was transferred to my new computer. Appreciate any help I can get---------------------------------------------------------I found the right answer by shelleyr82706460 : In finder, under the Go menu, go to ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Digital Editions/ and delete the file <activation.dat>  (under Adobe >Digital Editions). Thank you shelleyr82706460 !   

Hi I have been trying to login to authorise my ADE to enable me to read borrowed ebooks on my ereader.  I have tried to do this over the last 12 Months and have now given up.  I am not great at doing this so I need help now to try and login to authorise so I can actually use ADE.  The sign that comes up when I try to login is "incorrect login or password for the selected ebook vendor. Please try again."Help me pleaseDebbie

Good dayI am new to the ebook. I baught 6 ebooks. I am unable to open them. It says I need to open them with an vendor ID. When I try to deauthorise and login again. It says the same thing every time. It is school books and need it for tomorrow.

Why is it impossible to get any help from Adobe with their ridiculous Digital Editions. Is it because it is a free program. As Kobo is the main user of this program their business will certainly be damaged by people like me who will never buy another Ereader from them and will recommend others not to buy them.Over the time that I have had my Kobo I have had problems with authorization but now I have multiple copies of library books dowloading to Digital Editions all of which will open on the computer but will not open on the Ereader "not authorized".I am spending my life online trying to make sense of this ridiculous program.

Prior to today, ADE was working fine with my Nook Glowlight.  Today, it downloads the library books fine, and my Nook shows on the desktop, but once I turn the Nook on, ADE closes abruptly.  I have deleted and reinstalled ADE, unauthorized and reauthorized, taken the new book out of the ADE library and added another; same problem.  I also tried it on another computer with the same result.  I am able to purchase and download books from B&N with no problem.  Contacted B&N, but they were no help.

I downloaded ADE and try to authorize with my Adobe ID. I keep getting the error message  "incorrect id/password for this e-book supplier" I have:checked my Adobe ID / password combination by logging into Adobe & checking main e-mailchanged my Adobe password to letters/numbers onlychecked my old laptop with ADE computer authorization / tried to remove the authorization, same error I keep getting the same error, any suggestion how to solve this?Thanks, René

I have installed and authorized my Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 but when I  try to download my ebook it says "E_ADEPT_NO_TOKEN". My school has even sent me another link to the book but it did not work.

Adobe Digital Reader won't open an epub edition from Draft 2 Digital. I can down load the epub, but then I get a message that says the it is not a supported file type. I can download and open a mobi file and a pdf.In further fiddling with the file, I realize it goes to Adobe Reader and not to Adobe Digital Reader. Why would that be?   

Hello Team,I am new to Adobe Digital Edition. Recently installed version 4.5.10 in my Dell Laptop (Lattitude E5470, Windows 10, 64 bit), and whenever, I try to open the e-book File extension 'EPUB'), the application hangs and throws message in few seconds as 'Not Responding'. I don't have any option other than closing the application. I was asked to get an id from adobe site and authorise using the ID, which I did(used my office mail id), still problem persisting for both 4.5.10 as well as 4.5.11.  I also tried uninstalling, restarting and reinstalling - nothing is helping. would appreciate if any one can help me to fix this issue. It is bit urgent please.

I’m new to the Digital Édition program. I’ve opened  a Digital library book in the program and I now wish to return the book to the library. The library software says this apparently has to be done through the Adobe Digital Edition program. I cannot see how this can be done. Can someone help with this please? Timothy Marshall 

 Hello. I have a Kobo eReader. I bought an epub digital book and downloaded your software to unlock the book so that I can read it. Despite all my attempts, nothing works. I went through all the steps, with the assistance of the company that sold me the book (Renaud-Bray) and it still doesn't work. I would like to resolve the situation.  The software is activated but when I try to drag the book, it does'nt work. I have a error message: Unable to download, error obtaining the license. Communication problem with the license server. E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER Thank you!

I have recently bought a new computer where i had the digital edition app on my old computer having a couple of books there. I have tried to authorize my account with my new computer, but it will not download the files, because it say there is a license error, maype because i am using a new account for my adobe, but i can not remember the old one, can you help me out?

My scrolling has like a 5-7 second maybe more delay.  It is impossible to read with the scrolling delayed and then it will glitch and jump too far forward or back or whatever.  I really need this fixed.  I just spent money on a textbook that I could've used a better site with if I had known how poor this program worked.
