Hello,I recently tried to open a Malayalam ebook in Digital Editions (Windows) and it displays nothing!

Good morning allI have exactly the problem described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/digital-editions/digital-editions-won-t-authorize/td-p/10861514 a10861514 and like him I can't find a newer version of ADE. How to solve this problem ? ThanksJcl Ducourant 

Trying to download a book to ADE. Getting the following error message:Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:E_ACT_NOT_READY Error is not numbered.  The publisher says to ask Adobe.  Any ideas? 

Hi--I have digital editions installed on my iPhone and have downloaded books from the Open Library Internet Archive in the past. (At least I think I have) but I’m getting a “license” error when I try to download the link so I can read offline. What am I missing? Thanks—B

I bought an activation code at my school's bookstore for an ebook, downloaded it, and then used it for a week before it started malfunctioning. It starting saying activation error. So I asked my IT what I should do and they said to de-active and reactivate using my adobe id. However, when i downloaded the ebook i never even made an id I jsut downloaded through my school's bookstore/activation code. So i honestly don't know how to get back into the ebook if I never downloaded it connected to an ID in the first place. So I made an ID but obviously because I didn't download the ebook through the id my username/pass won't work to authorize it. I honestly don't know what to do and I've asked many people to assist.  

I have a new computer and need to download my Creative Suite 5.5. (I have the disk and seriel #, but my new computer does not have a disk drive.) Tutorials and this forum say I should be able to login and download it.  I have logged in and searched and searched.  I am so sorry I cannot seem to find the download. I have a windows 10 PC. If someone would please send me a link to the download, that would be wonderful!

Bonjour,ADE 4.5.6 me refuse le changement d'autorisation. Il affiche mon ID, je lui donne mon mot de passe, la réponse est que le mot de passe est erroné. Pourtant, c'est celui avec lequel je me connecte à mon compte sur le site Adobe. Y a-t-il quelque chose de possible pour arranger ceci ? Car je ne peux pas glisser de ebooks vers ma liseuse...

Hello I have downloaded the adobe digital editions app for downloading ebooks but I am having problems authorizing the adobe digital editions and I cannot download the ebook on it.

I'm unable to download from both Macintosh and Windows edition to my Chrome OS. 

I recently received a Pocketbook E-reader, which I tried to load borrowed books from my library onto. After realizing I needed to authorize my E-reader through Digital Editions to read the books (since they are ACSM files), I tried plugging the E-reader into my computer, where it was supposed to pop up in the left side of the ADE app. It didn't, and now I can't download any DRM-protected books. Can anyone help me with why it isn't showing?

I am trying to find a Windows 10 compatible app that will view interactive EPUB3 files with full functionality, such as the page turning, embedded videos, and question response. I have come up dry so far. I have tried Digital Editions, but the interactivity and MM aspects are muted/unformated. Is there something I am missing? Is this a setting issue? Thank you. 

I am trying to retrieve my Digital editions, which I bought from, Takealot, they are there on Takealot to Download but I just cant get them back into Digital Library on PC. I lost all that was on my PC some years back when my PC crashed.  I had to buy a new PC, so I don't have an Adobe ID for digital editions anymore.  I paid for these books at Takealot , a South African online shop.  They show there in my library, but can't get them downloaded onto Digital Editions Library.   [Moving from generic Start/Help forum to the specific Program forum... I have a free download Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.10. The highlight text feature is grayed out. Do I need a different version to activate this feature?

Hi all - Downloaded a book to my Digital Editions Windows app. The book will not show up in my iPad Digital Editions application. Both the Windows & iPad apps are authorized under the same account & both have the settings for "auto-dowload new files" enabled. Any suggestions?

He visto en algunos foros que la sollución era borrar la autorización del equipo, pero no ha funcionado. No sé si el problema está en que hay que descargar la versión 4.5.11. pero tampoco la veo disponible. Agradcecería ayuda

Sometimes when reading the text slide bar comes up on upper center part of the pahe and I can't get it to go away. Anyone know how to make it go away? I chose ACSM files as topic because a topic is required. Do not really now what this issue comes under. No category for USE OF ADE,

I have previously been able to download ebooks to my ereader (Kobo) using my public library Overdrive site and Adobe Digital Editions.  Lately, I cannot download the books into Digital Editions.  I get no error message - just nothing happens after I get the dialogue box saying "fulfilling content".  It appears to be an issue with digital editions, not my library site.  I have tried multiple books, I have uninstalled and reinstalled ADE several times and nothing seems to be working.  It is very frustrating, as well, that there doesn't seem to be a way to contact a person at Adobe and directly communicate with them to solve this issue!  Please help!

i am able to authorize my adobe digital editions on my phone and not my computer.  So I cannot download my textbook.  Could I please get some help:)

I downloaded ADE three days ago on three devices: my MacBook Pro, iPad, and iPhone. Since then, I've been receiving the error listed in this thread on all three whenever I try to activate the app or load any books into it. That thread suggests updating to version 4.5.11, but the most recent version I've been able to find, which I'm running on my MacBook Pro, is 4.5.10. Meanwhile, the two iOS devices are running the most recent updates and still getting the error. How do I get this app to work?
