Digital Editions

Hi there, I just purchased a book on Google Play. For university research purposes I find it very important to be able to highlight the text, however the function doesn't seem to work in my version of Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 (I can click on it however nothing is being highlighted). I have already reopened/re-downloaded the programme several times but no luck so far. Is there anything I can do to solve the problem? Thanks for your help! 

I can´t choose a Vendor ID account to authorize my device with my VendorID in ADE for iPhone.Adobe ID options does not change even after selecting my Vendor ID from the popup menu. Please, your help.

I see that people have made these complaints on this forum for years and therefore I suspect that Adobe Digital Editions phone app is a neglected low priority product for Adobe. As a professor who requires  students to read eBooks purchased by our university library, I'm disappointed since we are increasingly moving to eBooks and students are increasingly using their phones and wanting a read aloud feature. They are able to read the eBook on the ProQuest Clarivate website on their laptops without utilizing Adobe but the Adobe Digital Editions app on their phones only brings frustration.  First, there on the Adobe Digital Editions phone app there is no automatic zoom to remove the margins so one has to pinch to zoom in but then you can't scroll without the page zooming out again wildly until you "exit Zoom" so continuous reading is impossible. It is no use turning your phone to landscape either. So you cannot read many ebooks on the ebook reader. The answer

Hello everybody, I've got some books from Kobo and stumbled across a problem, I cannot solve on my own. I'm gonna try to be as specific as I can with the whole situation, so please bear with me (TL:DR at the end). 1. The books in questionBeginning on the 01.07.2023 (07/01/2023) to the 22.07.2023 (07/22/2023), HumbleBundle offered a bundle containing the Baki (also known as New Grappler Baki) manga series (31 volumes and with it 31 ebooks in total, see https://www.humblebundle.com/books/baki-collection-books). Purchasing said bundle gave me activation codes, which I could use to redeem the books (BAKI Volume books, not the Chapter ones) on Kobo. Having redeemed the codes, I started downloading the ebooks (through .acsm files provided by Kobo) in Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) onto my computer, since I'd like to have the books stored locally. 2. bonjour lorsque j'entre mon ID et mon mot de passe j'ai un message d'erreur comme quoi mes informations sont incorectes... pourtant les informations sont les bonnes j'ai même tenté de changer mon mot de passe. J'ai aussi essayé avec la version ADE 3.0 même problème... Avez-vous une solution à ce problème ou connaissez-vous la cause de ce problème. 

Digital Editions 3.0.  Will I still have ebooks from earlier versions if I download 3.0?

I received a new laptop, but I am unable to authorise Adobe Digital Editions on my new laptop. I cannot remember the correct password and am unable to change the password. I followed the instructions to change the password, but there is no option to change my password on my profile. The passwords for my company have been "federated" a few years ago, and that might be the problem.  Can anybody assist?  

my cloud purchased books are no longer coming down to ade app on my mac ox ventura (latest updates to 10/24/24) i've gone through the obvious steps. what points of view can you all share with me to resolve this issue if you please? thanks

Wegen "Fehler beim Download/E_ACT_NOT_READY" wollte ich  die vorhandene Autorisierung meines neuen, aber mit den alten Inhalten beladenen MacBooks (Sonoma 14.6, M3) löschen bzw. entfernen. Das führte zur Meldung "Authorisierung kann nicht gelöscht werden. Versuchen Sie es später erneut." Später ging aber auch nichts. Das eigegebene Passwort  ist korrekt, ich konnte mich damit immer noch bei Adobe anmelden. Fand dort aber auch keinen Lösungshinweis.Am Vorgänger Mac lief noch ADE 2.0,  jetzt habe ich aber auf das aktuelle ADE 4.5.12.85 erhöht, weil 2.0 mit den heutigen Betriebssystemen von Apple  ein paar Fehler macht. Wie also komme ich jetzt zu einer Deauthorisierung? 

For about the third random time, I can't read a library book on my Kobo - apparently because I 'previously deauthorized' it (I didn't).The annoying fixes I tried last time (deauthorizing everything, removing all the files, factory reset on the device, reinstalling ADE, reauthorizing etc) won't even work now, because the latest version of ADE simply does not work at all on my laptop - the application just does nothing when started. Any ideas? In despair. I just want to read a book.

My microsoft laptop was reset recently and I have lost the autofill for ADE.  When I try to type my email address,  I get a message that ADE is not responding.When I click on the URL download from Kobo it brings up the ADE screen but I get the same response. I also tried to continue without authorisation but ADE stopped responding.I uninstalled ADE and reinstalled it. Same problem. I contacted Microsoft who looked at the issue via QuickAssist and told me I needed to speak to Adobe.I have Windows 10 and cannot upgrade. I also have an old ACER that has just been reset with windows 10 and I get the same problem. Adobe support gave me this link. I have been trying for hours now and hope somebody might know how to solve this problem. 

I have downloaded ebooks before using Adobe Digital editions using my device Gobii ereader. However when I downloaded ebooks today, opening Adobe digital editions my device is not visable.

I tried to open with Adobe Deigital Editions an EPUB-file, which i downloaded from Google Play books. Now I get an Error message: "E_ADEPT_CORE_KEY_SCRAMBLE". Where is the problem. Earöier is ha workes perfectly. Also Files I have downloaded earlier are working okay.Any help appreciated.jorma

HiI want to deauthorize ADE 4.0.3.117585 because I cannot load any downloaded eBooks from my public library any more.BTW: I did install a new system harddisk some days ago and had to apply a 4 week old backup.Ctl-Shft-I pretends that the computer is authorized, although I cannot read any downloaded ebook.When I use the dialog initiated by Ctl-Shft-D and enter my password I get a message: “Could not delete athorization. Please try again later.” The password I use enables me to logon to the Adobe ID site. So I guess it is right. HELP needed!Hubert

Hallo zusammen, ich hatte heute eine Kundin in der Bücherei, die ihre eBooks zwar vom Online-Dienst direkt auf den eReader laden konnte, jedoch nicht vom PC über Digital Editions auf den Tolino. Die eBooks wurden zwar auf den eReader übertragen, ließen sich dann aber nicht öffnen. Auch das Cover erschien nicht, es wurde nur der Titel angezeigt. Als Fehlermeldung beim Öffnen erschien immer wieder: W_ADEPT_CORE_NO_LOAN_TOKENS_FOUNDWir haben alle möglichen Fehlerbehebungsmaßnahmen ausprobiert: Neustart, Adobe ID neu hinterlegen etc., aber leider hat nichts funktioniert. Könnt ihr mir weiterhelfen?

Dear Adobe,Recently, my company published a new ebook using Digital editions. We hoped it would be a pleasant experience for our loyal readers, while also protecting our copyrights.  However, the Digital Editions installer has an added "bonus," by including the Norton antivirus program. My users are understandably upset about this and some have accidentally installed Norton by just clicking through the installer screens without noticing how to prevent it from being installed.  Please stop this! I already deauthorized and authorized ADE again. But this error keep happening. What should I do? Help!

Hi Adobe Community,I am trying to use Adobe Digital Editions and I need to deauthorize and reauthorize it, but it wants a long lost password from a defunct email account I haven't used for years.  Is there another way to deauthorize/reauthorize ADE?  Thanks.Zaffer
