I have received the below error message; Unable to download Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USERI have received this countless times and nothing in the forums will fix it. It is ridiculous that the only program that is able to open this program doesn't work and we have to go to great lengths to make it work. I would like some help on this issue please. I have done all the basic troubleshooting on the Adobe website.

Hello, So I payed 65$ to download a book, I opened it about two times, but when I went to open it for the third time it kept on saying "error" and did not allow me to open the book at all. So I went online to look for solutions: they told me to unauthorize my computer, remove the book, reauthorize my computer, and then re-download the book. But when I went to redownload it says: "Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER"I dont understand why this is occurring because I am using the same computer I downloaded the book on.

I cannot download library books using Adobe Digital Editions.

On W8.1, I installed the latest one and when I exit it always crashes! Adobe, a release fix coming up our way? Thanks!

Hello !I can't authorize my new computer with my Adobe ID (error with the activation server, code E_ADEPT_REQUEST_EXPIRED) It's the second time this has happened to me : already happened on my previous computer, the only solution I found back then was to create a new adobe ID using a new email address. But since I don'twant to have to create a new email address everytime I get a new computer just in order to be able to use the service and borrow books from the library, I was wondering wether someone had a solution ?Thanks in advance,Juliette

Hi,I've been comparing some eReaders from Kobo. I'd like to use Adobe Digital Editions with the reader. On the supported models page: http://blogs.adobe.com/aemmobile/supported-devices , there is no Kobo Clara HD model, although it is one of the latest models, and when searching about it, it seems odd it wouldn't have support? No indication anywhere that it didn't have this compatibility. Could someone confirm if this model really lacks ADE support, or is the list just not yet updated? I was also wondering if the Aura H20 on the list includes the 2nd edition too? Very appreciated if someone has info about these.

I have downloaded epub library books to Adobe Digital Editions bookshelf and copied them to my device's library but when I try to open them on my device, the message is "Your eREeader is not authorized to open this book" saying because my device has previously been deauthorized i need to reimport the book. I have both reimported and reauthorized (and this is a brand new KOBO eReader) my device. Any suggestions?

I just bought some ebooks protected with DMR on IBS. I can not download them with adobe digital edition and I receive the following error: Unable to download. License recovery error. License server communication problem E_ADEPT_DISTRIBUTOR_AUTH. (I receive the message in Italian, I translated it, the translation may not correspond to the same message in English)Has anyone had the same problem? Can someone help me?Thanks a lot!

Updated to ADE 4.5.10.  Have tried deauthorizing and reauthorizing my computer (Windows 10).  Seems OK if I import a book that I have purchased but crashes every time I try to import a book that is DRM-protected.  Not able to load the book or open it to read even in ADE.  Also unable to transfer to eReader through ADE (although this is fine with a purchased book).  Any suggestions?

Book download opens on PC, copies to ereader but won't open on ereader - get message 'file open error'. Other book download from same store opens fine on ereader!

Hi!I have a tagus 2018, I've dowloaded 6 books from the kobo web and they open just fine on ADE but when I add them to my ereader, there are two books that pop the message "open file error" and it shows like they have 1/1 pages but on the computer I can read it just fine. Any help or suggestion?!

HiI need help urgently.I have bought a bunch of books this weekend for my birthday and out of the 30 books I bought from Booktopia 4 have downloaded fine to my ereader and I can open and access them. The others which I did exactly the same way aren't opening and come up with the error message File open failed. What does that mean and how do I fix it? I was on it for hours downloading them last night and have re sent them from Booktopia today which I can open and access all the books in Digital Editions on Adobe but I want them all to be accessible on my ereader so I can read in bed and on on the train going to & from work. As it's the long weekend here in Australia I can't get to talk to anyone at Booktopia to see if its an issue at there end and don't know how to contact someone in Adobe. I go back to work full time from tomorrow and would like to try fix the problem today if I can.ThanksBelinda

Things I've tried:Opening an acsm file using Adobe Digital Editions on AndroidOpening the epub file contained in that acsm file (extracted with Adobe Digital Editions on PC) using Adobe Digital Editions on AndroidThings that happened:Literally nothing, at allWhen I try to open either of these in Adobe Digital Editions on Android, the app opens to the same blank screen with only the Getting Started book on it. There's no indication that the app is doing anything (which I don't think it is honestly).When I try to put either of these in the Digital Editions directory the app created, the app doesn't seem to see them at all.The app is not fulfilling its one purpose. How to fix?Samsung Galaxy S8+ on Android 8.0.0

Is there any way to sync Adobe Digital Editions with Goodreads?  I know it is possible to import a CSV into Goodreads so even if I could just export the book information from Adobe this would be great, but I can't see any way of getting this done.Any help would be great.

I use Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 to borrow books from my library to read on my Nook.  I just borrowed 2 books from the library.  I transferred one to the Nook without a problem.  I used the same procedure to transfer the second book but it does not appear on the Nook.  If I open My Files on my laptop while the Nook is connected and view the Nook's files, that second book is listed.  And if I go back to ADE and try to transfer it again, I get a message that there is already a file with the same name in the location and I am asked if I want to copy and replace it.  So it appears as though the book is in the Nook but I can't find it.  It is not in the Nook's library.  The first book I transferred, by the way, is in the Nook's library.  Can anyone tell me why this is?  This problem has been going on for months.  Barnes and Noble is unable to help.

I have purchased an e-book which I'm reading using Adobe Digital Editions.In the beginning I was able to copy and paste sections that I intend to refer to later, but now I cannot copy and paste.What could be the problem?Lottie

I have books in my Google Play that I want to download as epub books to Adobe Digital so that I can upload them on my e-reader. When I right click on a book in Google Play and chose download epub the book does not appear in Adobe Digital can you please help me as to why this is happening as I don't want to buy any more books if I cant have them on my e-reader.

I have a problem with adding a pdf to the ADE.  I purchased a book from Wiley a long time ago when it was WinXP era. Now I have ADE 4.5.10 installed.  Everything looks good.  The CS rep asked me to go for a "E-books" menu, but there is no such menu.
