Digital Editions

I created my adobe account via my university login, and Adobe DE won't accept my student login credentials when trying to authorize.  Anyone know how to get around this?  Because I signed up through my university student account, I can't change my Adobe password or username.

Ich erhalte auf meinem iPhone beim Versuch, in der App "Adobe Digital Editions" die Autorisierung durchzuführen, folgenden Hinweis: "Dieses Gerät kann nicht mit Ihrer ID autorisiert werden, da die Höchstzahl an Geräten erreicht wurde, die mit der gleichen ID autorisiert werden können."  Angeblich kann der Adobe Support diese Höchstzahl zurücksetzen. Doch an wen konkret muss ich mich da wenden oder welche andere Lösung gibt es evtl.? Über eine Info würde ich mich sehr freuen!

I have lost my highlights and notes twice now after closing a book in digital editions and then reopening it later.  Is this a common problem?  How do I save this work so that it is still there the next time I open up the book?

Hi,novice user here with my new Kobo colour.Question about how to sync my Kobo with ADE.Installation ADE on my W11 desktop is OK. I have eBooks in my ADE library.Now to get them on my Kobo I connect the ereader with my PC with Kobo cable. So far so good.Kobo screen goes black with message that the Kobo is connected to my PC.I copy each file/ebook to the Kobo. Kobo screen remains black. Touch Kobo has no effect. Q: I do not see that ebook is completely copied to the ereader. Until I disconnect my cable from the ereader. I see a cryptic message that ebooks are being loaded (?).How do I know that the ebooks are completely copied? Do I need to check each invidual ebook on e.g. pages? Pls advice. Thx. -Eric  

w_adept_core_expired: i get this error when trying to downlad a book from edition guard. I already deleted and uploaded again this book to edition guard, generating a new URN but i still get the same error in return. Can anyone tell me what this error means? Thanks!

I have been trying to get an an acsm to add to digital editions and all I get is W adept core wrong device. I even got the company who made the file to send me a new copy and that did not work as well. How can I get this work?

Ich habe nach Jahren wieder den ADE heruntergeladen, damit ich die ACSM E Books sichern kann da Weltbild zum Monatsende nicht mehr exestiert. Und ich die ACSM nicht in die neue Tolino Cloud laden kann, bevor sie nicht in EPUP gewandelt sind. Nach drei geladenen Büchern ist der ADE zu und ich konnte ihn nicht mehr öffnen. Wenn ich ihn starte, dann lädt er nur statt zu starten. Und das stundenlang. Mein IT-Experte kann auch nicht helfen. Wir haben das ADE viermal deinstalliert und wieder installiert. Kann es sein, dass die vor 8 Jahren Autorisierung  die heutige Wiederautorisierung stört? Ich hatte mich wegen der ACSM E Books damals registriert und habe nach einigen Jahren den ADE selbst nicht mehr gebraucht, da die Bücher durch die Erstregistrierung ja auf den EBook Reader zu lesen war. Ich kann die Autorisierung nicht mal rückgängig machen, da ADE nicht gestartet wird. Mein IT Experte hat alles probiert. Nichts funktioniert. Eine Neuregierung mit neuer ID funktioniert nicht, da ic

Bonjour, je ne suis plus capabale de télécharger mes livres venant de la bibliothèque sur l'application Digital Editions 4.5 sur mon MAC. Il affiche un message d'erreur. Aussi mon amie ne peut plus télécharger de livres sur sa liseuse. Cela affiche un rapport d'erreur. Quelqu'un sait ce qui se passe? Merci!! 

W_ADEPT_CORE_USER_CREDENTIALS_NOT_FOUND No record for this loan is found on this machine. Digital editions forced me to update when I logged on now I cannot access any of my books. I get the above error message. I'm using Windows Vista, dgital editions update was 1.5. I think it has something to do with authorizing my computer is there away to unauthorize it? Does anyone else have this problem? Help!!!

i have downloaded an ebook in .acsm file but cannot open it in the latest version of Digital Editions.  .acsm files are correctly associated with Digital Editions on my system (i'm running Visa)when i try to add items to the library, the only allowed extensions are .pdf and .epub.  hope someone can help

I have a Kindle fire that I use the CLOUD LIBRARY app. When I try to download a book from my library, I get an error that I have too many Adobe device activations. The error message says:"You have reached the adobe limit for device activations with your account. Please go to https://www.yourcloudlibrary.com/adobe-reset and request a reset."I have requested a reset, waited 3 days, and nothing. I have contacted my library. I have contacted Adobe. I have tried everything I can think of. How do i fix this?Device: Kindle Fire HD 8, purchased Jan 2019

Hi, I tried to authorize my computer in order to read an E-Book but I get the following error message. I unistalled the program and reinstalled, same problem stays. The computer is the only device where I use ADE, so I really have no clue what the problem might be.I asked the Adobe customer service and they could not help me because ADE it's a free product, so they suggested me to write my problem here. Has this happened to someone already?`How did you solve the problem?Thank you in advance. 

I have lost two days of time to this software now.I tried on windows platform, the corporate lot that supposed to be slick with money. but your software still gets "encountered an error on activation server". I cannot even copy the error message.I tried on LINUX MINT. And it does activate!. but there I cannot get the book to be be downloaded, it gives another error! I have waited more than 2 months probably since I first encountered the error but nothing. So I have about 20 books on my google play books account that I cannot access to read, and it is thanks to you.I was willing to pay for my books, but I am fully open to pirating now.bye.

Bonjour, J'ai une nouvelle liseuse (kobo clara BW). Je suis sur mac. Lorsque je branche la liseuse, elle est reconnue par mon ordinateur car elle apparait dans Finder. Toutefois, je ne suis pas capable de l'ajouter dans les périfique de l'application ADE (derniere version et authorisation faite) . Je ne sais plus quoi faire. Merci

High Lighting anything causes Application to crash and close, on occation the highlight when right clicking is not available. Any help would be apprieciated, making it impossiable and worthless to use a study guide

What version of DIgital Editions is compatable with Chromebooks?I need to transfer Google books to my Kobo Clara 2e. but i dont have Windows.thank you. 

When trying to authorise my PC I always get the message that my username and/or password are incorrect. Even when I know for 100% they are. I tried to remov eall accounts I had with Adobe and made a new one with a complete new e-mailadress. Same result. There is no authorisation running as far as I know. Anybody who has the solution?

I want to download newly bought ebooks to my Pocketbook ereader.  But then when I want to download the transferred books to my ereader I get this error:   E_Adept_NO_Fullfilment_Result  I have already contacted the service from which I bought the ebook, contacted adobe (they can't help as ADE is a free service) etc... so I have been told to come to this community for help with this issue.  How can I bypass this error and download the ebook I bought?If the error means that the book has been downloaded on another account before (maybe this happened by mistake as I tried to connect to my devices) how can I delete from other accounts so this isn't an issue anymore? hope someone can help, have spent many hours trying to resolve this issue to no avail. 

I purchase two ebooks yesterday.  I didn't have an AdobeID, so when I downloaded and associated them with DigitalEdition, I autorized my computer without an ID. There was no problem there, I was able to trasfered them to KOBO, however when I try opened them on KOBO a message appeared saying my eReader was not authorized to open those books. When I was trying to solve this problem I accidentally deleted the books from ADE and when I tried associate them again it appeared the message "E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER". I tried criating an ID to see if maybe it would work, but it appears the same message. Could someone please help me? I don't want to spend more money to buy the same books 😞 

A couple years ago I had bought a document .acsm that I could view through Adobe Digital Editions by entering my Adobe ID. Now I have just changed my computer, and I don't have the old computer anymore. I need to view that same document: but when I try to enter my Adobe ID in Adobe Digital Editions, it says the same Adobe ID is already used. How do I remove the autorization from my old computer?
