HalloIch brauche dringend HIlfe.Nach einem Update von Windows lässt sich der Reader nicht mehr öffnen. Ich habe alle Tipps aus dem Forum ausprobiert und es funktioniert trotdem nicht. Wer kann mir helfen? Es ist dringend, kann sonst meinen Unterricht nicht vorbereiten. DankeAndrea

When I tried to open a book bought sometime ago, after I first tried to authorize my computer the following message appear : Incorrect ID or password for this eBook retailer (in french : ID ou mot de passe incorrect pour ce fournisseur d'eBook).In checked my Adobe account, identity and password: ID and password are correct.What can I do ?

I bought a book and didn't sign up, then rebooted windows and lost my licence. Is there anything I can do?

I have reinstalled ADE, I have wiped my Kobo and gone back to factory settings, I have de-authorized and re-authorized, and every time I try to load my ePub documents from ADE to my Kobo, I get a message saying I need to re-import the book using ADE. I have done it over and over and over again, and I keep getting the same message, every time I import the book using ADE. Anyone have any suggestions?

We have created a bunch of eBooks - ACS/DRM protected PDF files. They have been working just fine until such time as we (or anyone) upgrades to ADE 4.5.7. all images in the book that were perfect before are now rendered as scrambled snow. This is happening on mac and windows versions of the software. Does anyone have any insight on why this might be happening? 

I have tried to download this newest version more than once. At first some books downloaded and I could transfer to device and read.  Now ADE is simply  a blank window with titles across the top and no books ( acsm ) will download.  Often I have to "end task" to close ADE program.  Does anyone have experience with this and/or know a solution??  Seems that this newest version just doesn't work properly. Previous 3.0 Version was fine but cannot go back to it as you get  "check activation message."Thanks......Dave

I was told by staff at OverDrive (downloadable library book service" that "Adobe appears to have discontinued their support of ADE."  It's true that chat support is no longer available when you select ADE from the contact page; it only suggests the forum.  By choosing another "problem" I access chat support and asked a "technician" who unhelpfully told me that "we support ADE depending on different issues."  When I asked for clarification, the technician was silent for five minutes and I had to discontinue the chat to get to a meeting.My questions are:In what ways does Adobe still support ADE and for how long?In what situations will Adobe not support users having trouble with ADE?Is there an alternative product for users who currently use ADE?

I have downloaded Adobe Digital Editions to my computer and successfully authorised the computer but when I connect my Kobo ereader I cannot auhtorise the device to transfer books.  Any ideas please?

I have a feeling I have two adobe digital edition ID's because I had an issue with my KOBO. I deleted ADE and re-downloaded it, but I think I created a new ID by accident (is it possible to do this with the same email address?). I contacted KOBO support and they told me to delete my library book downloads, de-authorize the device and re-authorize it. After I did this, the books wouldn't re-download saying that a license already existed for another user for that book.

I'm sick and tired.I bought digital books in good faith.I read them at home and at work.then one day i got an expired or unauthorised message.I was able to sort it out on my home macon my work windows I have tried and tried and tried and tried.as far as I can tell, I need to re- register the work PC to the correct account. but I don't know the current password to remove the existing account (which is registered to my email also!!)When I want to access the (important) book, I just spend an hour trying to get it open, and failing.Adobe are not interested to be contacted and this forum has not helped in the past.I hate adobe DC and think I will never purchase digital books again.

Just got this Nook and I only have a Mac. So I downloaded everything to download a Public Library book in ePub... ADE and Android File Transfer. The book loads into ADE but when I try to put it in Android File Transfer it starts to load then a error message says the Android File Transfer does not take ePub. Eek.

I downloaded an E-book, didn't authorize my computer then. Read the book fine. Later I created an ID. Now, I try to open the book and it says I have to authorize my device and when I do, it says the book has already been authorized by another vendor ID. How do I get it working?

After downloading a library book to ADE to my Nook Glowlight 3, the book won't open.  "Error opening book. This book is not activated for current ADE user".  Have tried redownloading ADE and reauthorizing both my lap top and Nook.  Barnes and Noble says issue is with ADE and my computer. What can I do?

Hello,I used to have my ebooks on my laptop but after reinstalling Windows i am unable to download my products on any of my personal devices ..  the following message appears on Adobe Digital Editions ( Error getting license. license server communication problem: E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER) even though i am using the same Adobe ID .. I've transferred many library e-books, but it's been a while.  I've downloaded the e-book to Digital Editions.  It used to be a simple 'drag' of the file to the device. My e-book is listed as a title in my library.  My nook isn't showing as a device on the L-hand side...there's no device showing at all.  Why is ADE not recognizing my nook?  Thanks.

I use ADE to review books available only in this format and there are graphic novels and books with graphics that worked fine before this last update that now are scrambled on those pages. One book, for example, has a page or two of text followed by a page or two of a verse and a cartoon per page. The text pages appear just fine and the verse part of the other pages look fine but the cartoon images are just a thin area of pixelated distortion. Does this have a work around or is it being addressed or are reviewers and book publishers who have built their relationship on using this program just screwed? Thanks. I tried getting a new version of a couple of the books, no better. I tried this on two different computers, no better. My ADE version is 4.5.7.179634

I recently started up my copy of ADE that has Adobe Illustrator CC (June 2016 release) in the library. The software asked for me to let it update, and I did.  Now, every image has been replaced with scrambled static. Any idea on how to fix this?

I am trying to open a book on Digital Editions and am getting the below error:RET_RECORD_CORE_INVALID_CLIENT_CERTClient certificate used with Digital Editions is invalid. You will not be able to use all the features available in this application!I sought help from the online chat service but they told me to deauthorise my account. When i try to do this I get another error that says unable to erase authorisation. The person on the chat then told me to create a whole new email and redownload the software(????).Anyone have any ideas? I've found adobe extremely unhelpful overall and am incredibly disappointed with this product.

Is there a way/setting in Digital Editions to overwrite the previous version when you export latest InDesign file? I toggle back and forth during my ePub design process and end up with lot's of versions that I don't need... It's not a deal breaker, it would just nice nice not to have to delete previous versions by hand. Thanks.

Hello, I installed Adobe Digital Editions on my computer in order to download an ebook (acsm file). My problem is that strictly nothing happen : I click on the button "add it to the library" in ADE, I select it and click on the open button... and now nothing is happening, no book, no error message, nothing.I tried to desinstall and reinstall ADE but the problem still the same.Thank you for your help.Camille

Bekomme die Fehlermeldung, habe aber lediglich e i n e n Tolino im Gebrauch. Diese Meldung hatte ich schon einmal, daraufhin musste vom support ein Zähler zurückgesetzt werden. Langsam geht das ganz schön auf den Senkel!!Hat jemand sonst eine andere Hilfsmöglichkeit?
