Installed ADE.No problems with authorisation.BUT: The programme simply refuses to load epapers and ebooks into the programm. It tells me since more an hour that it downloads an epaper (of probably 40 pages). The programme is not crashed, it seems to work but does nothing.-- What can I do?AND: No support! It is an effrontery to let customers solve the problems of beta- or even gamma programms by themselves. A programme should be provided with full functionality.Searching, trying and writing this comment took me now 2 hours of my life - and Adobe takes it for granted, not to pay people for testing half-ready products./HN

When trying to download books on e-book-reader  by using Adobe ID it says "Authorisierung überschritten" - more than six hardwares connected - although there are only two hardwares connected. No list of hardwares to be found anywhere to check what is meant and no idea how to correct this mistake!

I can't download library books on to my Kobo reader. The first time I download ADE it works; the second time, I am always told that my ereader is not authorized. If I de-authorize and re-authorize my e-reader, I have to delete every single book I've already borrowed and re-load it, at which point I may still not have access to them.On top of authorization problems, ADE is constantly crashing.Anyone have solutions to these problems? Is this possible with ADE?  So far the documentation I've read indicates either authorizing anonymously (not a good option for us) or authorize by an Adobe ID.  Using Adobe ID won't work for between multiple staff members within the same department as the book will only be tied to a specific ID while each staff member has their own ID.Does ADE allow for ebook purchases to be somehow shared between users and/or computers within a business?

When I authorise PC without Vendor ID, I get the message that I have to Authorize with vendor ID,I then authorize with vendor ID it still won't let me read ebooks I have downloaded how can I fix this.I have uninstalled and re installed several times.

Hello, Last night I purchased an eBook from Books-a-Million. I downloaded Adobe Digital on my iPad and Computer. I went through the process to download the book on my iPad and the error message came up "Connection Error Detected Digital Editions could not connect to the fulfillment server. Please make sure you are connected to the internet." The problem is my iPad was connected to the internet so I do not understand why it would say that. After spending around an hour and half trying to get it to download on my iPad the next step I took was trying to get it to download into Adobe Digital on my computer. I made sure that my Adobe ID matched everything that would be in Books-a-Million. Everything was working until when it had finished loading the book into Adobe and I went to open it and nothing happened and the site started to not respond and crash. I have tried contacting Books-a-Million and I have done everything that I know to do to get my book to download and work, all I want is to

I have bought a book and have managed to save it onto ADE, however, It won't allow me to 'drag' it into my e-reader - a box appears saying "Unable to copy - No permission to copy document here".Any suggestions?

How do i return a book that i downloaded from my public library onto my ade 4.5 on my android tablet

My computer harddrive died and i lost all content. I have reinstalled Digital Editions with no problems. However, when i tried to authorise it, so that i could transfer my epub files to my ereader, i got the error message : you can only authorise this computer with an Adobe ID that hasn't previously been used to authorise any other computer or mobile devices. Please try again."I assume this is because with the new harddrive it is recognising the computer as a new one? Or maybe it is something else entirely, i am not very good with computers...does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi,I'm hoping someone can help me as I don't know what to do!My version of ADE kept crashing and so I uninstalled and reinstalled it. I have authorised my computer but my library has disappeared. I tried opening my books again (ie adding them to the library) but I get an error message saying that the books already exist in the library.When I plug in my Kobo e-reader ADE either crashes when I try to open it, or just shows 0 books in there too.Any tips gratefully received!Thank youHannah

How can I register retrospectively? I didn't do it the first time I used Adobe Digital Editions and now I can't see how to do it. Authorize computer in the help menu is greyed out.

I have a purchase that shows up on my iPad but no longer is accessible on my Mac.  I've downloaded the latest version of Digital Editions but that didn't fix it.  The error message says "The original document file is missing.Users/kurtulmer/Documents/Digital Editions/Lutheran Catechesis Catechist Edition.epub".  Has anyone run into this problem before and been able to fix it?  I was looking at the document on my Mac just a few months ago but I'm not sure what has happened between now and then.

Ich bin Mitglied einer öffentlichen Bücherei, bei der Zeitungen ausgeliehen werden können. Seit einiger Zeit bekomme ich, wenn ich z..B die Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung herunterlade nur noch den Zeitungstitel und die Seitenzahlen angezeigt, nicht dagegen die Zeitungsartikel. Die "Onleihe"-Redaktion führt dies auf die neue Version 4.5.7 zurück, bei Version 4.5.6 wäre ein Ausleihe möglich. Das Problem müsse von Adobe gelöst werden. MeineFrage ist, ob dieses Problem bei Adobe überhaupt bekannt ist und wann mit einer Lösung zu rechnen ist? Existiert ggf. schon eine Lösung?

I just started using Adobe Digital Editions on my PC.  I downloaded a printable e-script that I'd purchased, but it's not printing correctly.  First, it's printing Portrait instead of Landscape, (so I'm missing a few letters on the right) and only 1/2 of the page is printing from top to bottom.  Why?

When I went to another device and installed, opened and authorized this device, my book I can see on another device doesn't show. Was I suppose to do something other then authorize the new device.

I have a Windows 10 PC and downloaded Adobe Digital Editions.  The download bar was full and a Norton advertisement window comes up and both windows just freeze.  Then I have to hit control alt delete and stop the task.  Happens every time.  Simply won't complete the download.Help?

I have been on the Phone with KOBO who referred ne to you and after a rather unsatisfying  chat conversation I was referred to some forum. I repeated my question and got an answer back that the problem was resolved. When testing, it appeared not to be resolved. I have spent a couple of hours already on trying to get this working and I am not able to get this up and running without your support.  Could you please advise on how to move forward and let me know what I can expect from you or what it is that you need from me to provide support? I have been operating a laptop using Windows 10 in conjunction with my Nook GlowLight successfully for over a year.  Recently I have found that I can’t download ebooks via Adobe Digital Edition 4.5 as now the Nook is not being recognised.  Other devices I plug in via USB work just fine but the Nook does not. I should mention the problem surfaced when ADE was updated from version 3.0 I wonder whether this is a known problem and whether there is a fix availableIt may be worthy of note that connecting the Nook to the PC the light indicating that they are charging, however, there is no drive registered on the file explorer. There is nothing that I can find anywhere that indicates that the PC detects a thing. There are no error messages or notifications. This is true for all the USB ports.I am extremely grateful for you taking the time to help me in this very frustrating problemRegardsTony W
