Hi,I have a problem with my Adobe ID. I have activated it six times now, the Maximum.I asked the Chat-Support to reset the activations but they said that I have to find help here.best regards

I purchased a book in pdf format. The book opens in Adobe Digital Editions.When I highlight text and copy, the PASTE command is shaded grey. How can I select text and paste?Thanks,Paul

Digital editions no longer allows me to authorize my ebook (when I click on the gear logo next to "device", everything is in light grey). This is not a new device, it is on the list of supported ebooks and it worked up until a few weeks ago (but out of the blue my authorization stopped working so I've had to uninstall and reinstall the software).  I have managed to get digital editions working again but I am unable to get it to allow me to authorize my ebook.  What I have done so far: - uninstalled and re-installed digital editions (several times)- factory re-set my ereader (several times)- tried using a different ebook - the problem persists- tried on another computer - did not resolve the issue- physically deleted adobe digital editions from my ereader, factory reset the ereader, and uninstalled/reinstalled digital editions- I also deleted the adept key from my computerI have had never ending issues with my digital edition authorization for a while now and I've been able to

We have just bought an e reader (Kobo Aura e reader) and need to download Adobe Digital Editions.  We do not have a Windows or Mac operating system. Can anyone help us with loading ADE onto our Chromebook?

Hello,I first opened adobe ID with a wrong ID  dadesina@yahoo.com instead of dadesina43@yahoo.com and I have donwloaded an ebook titled: Governace, risk and ethics with the wrong email because I was able to remeber the password but when I forgot the password and needed to reset it, it became a challenge because the email address I first used does not exist (or I dont have acces to it). Kindly check your records to verify (I used this computer to register the first (wrong) one) and help me to either delete the one with the wrong mail or merge the account with the correct mail (dadesina43@yahoo.com) which I have already used to open adobe ID so that I can be able to share the ebook with my laptop.Regards.

I have tried numerous times to install and use Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.  But each time, after what appears to be a successful installation, I double-click the ADE icon ... and nothing happens.  Can someone give me some help?

my kobo ereader used to work fine, but now it keeps telling me the device is not authorised. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the program, deauthorised and reauthorised, all without success. I'm at my wits end. Do I go back to hard copy????

For the first time I have borrowed eBooks from my library. I installed ADE on my lap top today, and from what I can tell the books should automatically show up there, but they do not...how can I fix this? I am trying to get the books in my Kobo reader.Thanks!

I have a PocketBook Touch Digital Reader and have downloaded ADE.  Have connected PocketBook by cable to my computer I can see my PocketBook on my Desktop.  The purchased book is in my iBooks folder but I can not get the book from iBooks folder into the PocketBook by dragging it either onto ADE or into the PocketBook Folder.I want to synchronise all book purchases to read on PocketBook as well as Macbook and iPad.Please assist with simple instructions as have spent many frustrated hours trying to follow help on Adobe, PocketBook and Apple which are so difficult to understand and do not work.I also have many unread books in Kindle folder on my iPad.  How do I transfer these to PocketBook??

When I was downloading my books from my local library on my Asus PC I was not having any problems.But now I'am using a MacBook Air (Apple).  And I have two problems.FIRST PROBLEM: When the book is under reservation I'am not getting an Email advising me that my book is available and ready for download.  I have contacted my local library and according to them everything is OK. I'am using a KOBO.  My wife has an old Sony Reader and she is getting her Email from the local library on the Asus PC without problems.SECOND PROBLEM:  In my KOBO library on the  MacBook Air.  I have Ghost Images (like a cloud) of old books that I have read.  I'am been told that this is created Adobe.  And even if I delete them they are still getting back when I'am re-opening my Adobe digital edition.

I have an adobe account for digital edition on my computer where I have forgotten the password for my authorization. Unfortunately there is a mistake in the email address, why I'm not able to reset the password, because the nessesary reset mail could not be sent. Also it is not possible to use an other account on this computer because there I need also my password. How is it possible to use this computer with adobe digital edition.

Hi,My library requires me to use your Adobe Digital Editions to read digital books. However, I am now left with the choice of either not using their service or dealing with an insecure computer, because your current updated (version 4.5.7) does NOT work with the books I've borrowed. According to my library, they can't do anything about it and have to wait for you to fix the problem. Please do so asap!Before downloading books, everything works fine. However, as soon as I download books to be opened in Digital Editions 4.5.7, the programme freezes. All buttons stop working and I can only close the programme via task manager. Nothing else works. This is extremely annoying! Apparently, I'm also not the only person with this problem and people wishing to read epapers have the same problem too.Oh, and while I'm at it: could you please provide at least a link to the old digital editions version so I can go back should I decide the content is more important than security?Thanks.

Spent most of the last two hours trying to find the book I just purchased from Adobe.  I'm reasonably certain they took my money, and I downloaded Adobe Digital Editions, but I get a message that the ADE file is downloaded but I need to open it in My Account.  I can't find that and I think that explains why I can't find any file called My Digital Editions. How do I get to My Account?

I have A Mac computer. I have tried all suggestions to erase activation, but no luck. I have No idea what the log in or password is from my account. Is there anything else I can do?My adobe account is activated with computer but when I try to use Cloud Library it says I need to activate computer. When I enter my adobe info it comes up with a error message. So frustrated.

I just bought an ebook and want to put it on my Kobo.The ADE tells me that I am not allowed to make a copy of the book. So i had never bought and Ebook before but needed to study for an upcoming test and bought a book online thinking it was a pdf. Learned it was an acsm file and so i took on learning how to use these files.At first I opened the file into Adobe Digital Editions which I had installed as a software package from my school which they had setup (4 years ago), it loaded into my library fine but would crash every time I tried to open it.So i read the forums and heard that reauthorizing could solve this problem and so began my major issues!!!!After doing so i still got a e_auth_not_ready error, so i deleted the book from the library and tried a different version of the program without any avail. I had at the time used authorization without an ID, but made an ID to see if that would help, which i now understand was my downfall because I have no idea which account has rights to the file. I bought a new ebook that will not accept my Adobe drm id. I have not had this problem before. I do have a new devise. My apps Aldiko and Bluefire reader are accepting my account. Amy ideas?

I am attempting to read a DRM-protected PDF on an iPhone using the ADE iOS app. I can increase the font size by pinching and expanding, but the text doesn't reflow, so content disappears across the margins.Please tell me there's a way to read PDF on the ADE app with suitable text size. I don't see an option for this, unless I'm just flat out missing it.This is Adobe technology reading an Adobe format, so I would certainly hope this basic usability feature is supported...otherwise the app, and my PDF content, is worthless. And of course with the DRM I am chained to it for reading my paid content. I'd happily read these files on iBooks, iOS Kindle, Nook, anything else, but apparently this is not allowed.Adobe - help?

Hi everyone,I have an important problem right now. I downloaded a book using Google Play and it downloads in .acsm so I use Adobe Digital Editions because the program create a "copy" in its folder in .pdf format to use it. The problem is everytime I try to open the pdf, an error message appears, "The selected document can not be open". I can't use programs like "Calibre" to try to change the format or something. I don't know what to do.Thanks!

My Kobo and computer both share the same ID for the adobe digital editions.  On my computer they both show as authorized devices.  Yet, when I download a library book to the reader, I will get the message: Your eReader is not authorized to open this book.  I have tried unauthorizing and authorizing again both devices.  I have been able to download sometimes in the past.  What can I do to prevent this from happening?

I bought an e-book from google play and I  downloaded the epub version of it. I used  the Adobe Digital Editions via of which, I transferred it at my e-book reader. I put as password and username the corresponding credentials of my ID Adobe acount, but authrization failed. I  put instead of my password the serial number that is shown at product info at ADE and was shown a different message but again the authorization failed. Does he know anyone what can be the problem about that?
