hiii have installed digital editions 3.0 it works for few minutes and then crashesi tried installing 4.5.6 but it wont openi m having windows 7 32-bit operating systemplease help

I have a kobo Glo and I deactivated the ADE and now I don't know how to authorize it again? can anyone help me I've followed the set up guide to no avail.

Hello!I have just bought a book with an Adobe DRM protection, and while I was able to confirm my Adobe-Id on my Android, I was still unable to download the book.When testing the same thing on my computer, it says I need a software to read the file/open the link. In all honesty, I don't know where to start, as Adobe is already on the computer and this just seams like a reeeaally difficult way of doing things and maybe it's just me, but spending an hour on getting past a license issue after buying a product is really annoying. And problem is still unsolved.Help.

I have installed a  number of epub books from Google Play books into Adbobe Digital Editions (ADE).  One book, however, ALWAYS fails to download and the message "e_adept_document_type_unknown" is displayed.  I have uninstalled ADE and reinstalled.  I have deleted the epub book and re-downloaded.  All multiple times.  I can install other books from Google Play books, but NOT this particular book.  I spent an hour with Google support, and they finally said "talk to Adobe".  Help!

I speak english.  my computer interface is english.  why does this program default to spanish?there are no solutions available in the forums.  i have a suggestion.  add a drop down menu or preferences section where users can select which language they prefer.i really hope there's answer posted here soon.... or I'm going nuclear with Adobe... I am a cloud subscriber.

Hi, I recently changed laptops but have not changed my Adobe Digital Editions ID.I purchased an eBook from the Kobo website which shows up in my library, however when I try to downlaod to ADE I get the following errors;The vendor account is not associated with the item you are trying to openE_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USERI cannot seem to contact Adobe support (UK) for help and Kobo Support seem to have run out of ideas (change password, etc), therefore any suggestions I would be most grateful.Regards,Andy

Hallo zusammen,ich beschäftige mich schon einige Zeit mit der Adobe Digital Edition, bin aber bei manchen Dingen aber etwas frustiert. Davon mal abgesehen, dass ADE 4.5 für Mac ab und an mal abstürzt, fehlen mir einfach manche Funktionen oder ich finde sie nicht. Die Suchfunktion ist bei mir im Menü hellgrau, d.h. ich kann nicht darauf zugreifen und muss das gesuchte eBook immer mühselig mit scrollen suchen. Gibt es dafür eine Möglichkeit? Bin für jede Hilfe dankbar!Hat jemand Erfahrung damit gemacht, ob man in ADE auch eBooks umbenennen kann? Manchmal werden die Titel der eBooks nicht korrekt angezeigt, z.B. fehlen Buchstaben oder der Autor wird als Titel gespeichert. Mir ist schon klar, dass diese Übertragungsfehler meist beim Herausgeber der eBooks liegen. Weiß jemand, ob man diese eBooks umbenennen kann, ohne gleich das eBook zu zerschießen? Vielen Dank!

Hi,I created a Fixed Layout EPUB document using InDesign CC 2017 (Mac). When I open the EPUB document in both Adobe Digital Editions and iBooks it's great, the fonts works, images all in the correct places etc. When I open the document on my PC in Adobe Digital Editions 4,5,4 for Windows, the images etc are all fine and in the right places, but the fonts default to Arial and Times, the fonts used in the Mac document are Gills Sans and Baskerville (OpenType), why is this, can anybody help?

@I'm using a Nook Glow Light Plus and trying to borrow a library book.  When the book appears on my computer which i have connected to my Nook, the computer page will not recognize that my Nook is plugged into it and allow me to drag the book over to the Nook.  Can anyone help?

                         I have an old NOOK and together with ADE I was able to open ebooks. However, with my latest book downloads the books come into the NOOK but I can't open them because it says Author Unknown instead of the author's name. It  then says "sorry unable to open book" or it says "book returned". Anybody else experiencing this lately. I download from the New York City Public Library. Any advice?    

My school's library only allows me to check out the book for 7 days at a time. When I return to the school's library page to recheck out the book I lose all of my highlights.Is there a way to preserve my highlights or extend a check out period so that I don't have to redownload the book every 7 days and lose all my highlights?

ADE 4.5.6 is unable to display an EPUB book written in Chinese. iBooks is able to display the book.How can I help ADE to do this?Mark

Hello,I have bought some eBooks for our Library which require Adobe Digital Editions. If I download the ADE it can only work on six designated computers. I can see that there K-12 schools can get a version which allows all students and teachers in the school to use the eBooks. I can see that it's also available for public libraries so that their members can borrow eBooks. How do I go about getting a version which would allow students and teachers to access eBooks at college on our computers and their own devices plus accessing in their own homes?

I have a new computer, the latest version of ADE, and a legit epub book. Yet, the reading experience is awful - moving from page to page is extremely slow, sometimes bookmarks and highlights move to the wrong page, sometimes the application crashes, and sometimes i cannot highlight at all. i paid good money for the epub (though i had an option of buying a hard copy), but the UX is terrible. Is there anything that can be done to fix these problems?

My computer is new and so I had to download Adobe Digital Editions again.  I purchased two ebooks and downloaded them to ADE only to realize my old ebooks weren't there.  Then, I discerned that I wasn't signed in with my AdobeID, yet.  When trying to authorize my computer to get my old ebooks back in with my recently downloaded ones it displayed this message:I need all my ebooks together on this computer and don't know how to do that if it's not letting me authorize this computer. 

I'm having issues with downloading ebook and reading on adobe digital because I first opened the file without creating id and next, I open the file on another computer after creating adobe id. I get message saying this file has been already opened by another user( which is me) and adobe digital wont let me see the book. what do I do?

Hi, laptop crashed and had to be reset to factory settings so have downloaded adobe digital editions to allow me to read epub file books. Had this previously with now issues. I have been unable to authorise laptop, message states book is not associated with my current adobe login. I believe this is because I previously used a work email address which I can no longer access and not sure exactly what it was. is there a way to authorise the laptop and access these books ?? Any help would be appreciated.Thx

hi, I am having a very frustrating issue in that prior to going on holiday, and trying to download books from my local library ebook section for transfer to my Nook, I am unable to download them to my Adobe digital editions library in order to move the my reader.This worked fine last holiday in September but now I keep getting the same adobe reader box opening up, saying file not supported etc, its a long message and it wont let me cut and paste it, but I'm sure others must have same problemI am running windows 10, and have the latest version of Digital Editions installed, there must be a simple answer to this, I just cant find it, and would be grateful for help as I really like using my nook on holiday, could it be I may have to re-authorise my computer?ThanksDave

Hallo, hat auch jemand das gleiche Problem.Ich lade mir Bücher aber das umblättern auf meinem Windows Tablet ist nahezu unmöglich.Ich verwende Windows 10 (home) und den ADE 4.5.5.1X.Ich bedanke mich schon jezt für alle hinweise.

Hello, I recently downloaded a textbook onto Adobe Digital Reader, and it is impossibly slow to scroll... it startles, it jumps around.  It’s truly frustrating. When I reduced it to a whole page, the font is too small to be comfortable to read.  I’m truly stunned at how badly this is working. I will never ever, buy a textbook this way again if it requires me to use this a a platform.  I find it ridiculous that it is far easier to read something online, than downloaded to my computer? No other application I use, gives me this type of trouble.
