Digital Editions

Trying to download purchased google PDFs and EPUBs directly into Adobe Digital Editions.I get the message "Connection Error Detected" Digital Editions could not connect to the fulfillment server. Please make sure you are connected to the internet."I am definitely connected, have turned wifi on and off, and can obviously download a book, since another book worked. I have been having this problem with all the books on my iPad pro, and have even deleted and reinstalled the Digital Editions app. Any suggestions? I really need these expensive books for school, groan!

HI I WOULD LIKE TO EITHER HAVE MY ACCOUNT RESET WERE I CAN DELETE EVERY DEVICE THAT WAS AUTHORIZED HOWEVER DOING IT THROUGH MY ADOBE ACCOUNT OR OVER THE WEB. ALSO CAN NOT USE THE ADOBE DIGITAL EDITIONS ON MY PC CAUSE WHEN I ASK TO AUTHORIZE IT IS STUCK ON THE GREEN AUTHORIZING COMPUTER SIGN FOR DAYS. PLEASE HELP IF NOT THIS APP IS JUST A WASTE AS HAS I HAVE INVESTED IN MANY BOOKS BUT CAN NOT ACCESS IT AT ALL. URGENT HELP.@

reset number of activation adobe digital edition

I have an old Moody Blue's song with Denny Laine called "Stop."  It has a huge amount of hiss at the beginning.  The 2 CD claims to be remastered.  I cannot remove the hiss using adobe Audition 1.5 which has worked great on other songs.  I did some searching for tutorials and no luck.  One tutorial mentioned the paint brush using the Spectral View.  Does 1.5 have the pain brush option?  Any suggestions and thanks.  Ed

I have previously successfully used ADE to download books from my local library to my Kobo e-reader via my Windows PC running 8.1.I have reinstalled ADE 4.5 several times and still unable to download to ADE.My library have checked their end and referred me to Adobe. Several times the ADE programme just seems to freeze and I need to restart my PC to close ADE.Any suggestions please?Trish

I just created an Adobe ID to receive a purchased  acsm file and am not able to open the fileas this message comes up: Error! Check Activation.Has anyone run into this problem?

I have been trying to access my adobe digital editions  purchased e-books for the last 6 or so months but i keep on getting an error message(says activation server error. code: E_ACT_NOT_READY). I tried uninstalling and installing it again but its still giving me problems i even changed my password but  it doesn't help not even on my mobile app. I do not understand what is happening. please help me get access to my e-books.I am on windows 8 ad my computer is authorized,so is my phone.

My laptop has all books that I have but, I cannot access the books by mobile. What I need to do? !

Bonjour,J'ai eu des problèmes avec mon PC et j'ai dû changer mon disque dur. J'ai réinstallé Adobe et Kobo Desktop et récupéré mon compte adobe. Toutefois, je ne retrouve pas dans mon compte tous les livres qui sont présents sur ma liseuse. Comment puis-je synchroniser celle-ci avec mon ordi et mettre sur mon ordi les livres qui sont sur ma liseuse. De plus, lorsque je connecte ma liseuse, son contenu n'apparaît pas entièrement sur Windows explorer, comme si certains epub n'existaient plus ! J'utilise Windows 7.Quelqu'un peut-il m'aider ?Merci !

I made extensive notes/annotations on an eBook in Adobe Digital Editions when it expired. I tried downloading it again, but my notes are not there. Is there any way to recover it?

Although speech is set up correctly in my IOS device - it work with other apps - it does not work in Adobe Digital Editions. All it does, is speak the page numbers, When I select text, the speak button remains absent. Because I have a vision problem I would be grateful for suggestions that allow me to fix this.

Hi All,I borrowed an ebook from my library. I had no problem downloading it and reading it on the computer but it wont let me move it onto my Kobo device.Anyone have any advice? I'll ask my library aswell but they are generally not too helpful when it come to the tech side of things.Thanks,Gill

It looks like I am able to download the book in question but every time I try to open the book I am getting an error that reads "Unable to download. Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem: E_ADEPT_NO_FULFILLMENT_RESULT"  Does anyone know what causes this and how to fix it?  Thanks!

I open the file on ADE and i can not view the full page of the book.How can i fix it please.

Recently, within the last 2 weeks, my Adobe digital editions won't return books after I am finished reading them. I get the message "Error returning item. License Server communication problem: E_Adept_Request_Expired. " This is from my Version 4.5.6.177148 on my Windows 10 Dell Laptop. Help!I have even tried uninstalling it and then reinstalling it. I have tried to erase the authorization (to try a new one) but  it won't even let me do that!

Hi, so I've talked to the customer service FOUR TIMES, but they kept directing me to hear saying that they can't help me with anythinigI reeeeally hope there's someone who can help me with thisI erased the authorization on my laptop cause I have another laptop that I used frequently, but then it didn't let me get into the textbook anymore. I was able to get into the ADE, but when I tried to open the ebook, it asked me to sign in. When I put in the ID and password, it said "The vendor account you entered is not associated with the item you are trying to open. Try again." I used the information for Adobe and the information for the website where I got the ebook, but nothing worked. So I tried to delete the ebook and reinstall it. The pop up said that the original file wasn't getting deleted, so I thought it would be fine. BUT now it's not even letting me reinstall the ebook and another pop up came up saying "E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER".I tried reinstalling ADE, didn't work.I

I recently switched from Digital Editions 4.0 due to being unable to open library books on my Nook- the message "This book has been returned. Loan not on record" came up. I now have been trying to download books onto Digital Editions 3.0, and keep getting different error messages like "CE_COPY_NOT_ALLOWED. No permission to copy the book" when I go to drag it over to my device, and "E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER" when I attempt to open the file into Digital Editions. Some threads on the forum suggested deauthroizing and reauthorizing my computer, which I have done and am receiving the same messages still. I uninstalled the application several times in addition to deauthorizing and reauthorizing. I tried downloading an entirely new book from the library and have had no luck, receiving the same messages. I can't contact Adobe directly for some reason, the customer service line and chat options all direct me to the forums and it's very irritating that I can't just speak with some

I have purchased a textbook in Adobe Digital Editions format. It installed on my computer (iMac) with no issues but I am unable to get the book to show up on my iPad. Both are running the latest version of Adobe Digital Editions (I had to upgrade the version on my iMac and reinstalled on my iPad) but still no sync (although sync is enabled). I believe I resolved this problem las time by transferring the ascot file to the iPad but this time Digital Editions on the iPad is reporting "Unable to download, Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem: E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12". Help!

Several years ago, I purchased two Adobe Digital Editions of annotated textbooks.  I just tried to open them, and they won't open.  I got a system message that there was no application to open them.  I clicked again, and I was taken to the Adobe Digital Editions site, but customer support sent me here.  Do I need to buy something again?  Did a computer crash a few months ago wipe out something?  Everything else seemed to be restored...  I would be grateful for your help, because I need to access these books!

I purchased a book from Google Play. Downloaded it onto my desktop as a locked epub file.Came to open it and had to do so via Adobe Digital Editions.It asked for vendor's name, Google. My ID with vendor, my name. Password with vendor. Rejected.So registered with Adobe Digital Editions and used that ID and password.Still rejected.How do I open this file so I can load it on to my 2 Ereaders.Thanks, Mike

A few weeks ago on the I bought a book for my studies. As such I installed Adobe digital edition and loaded the book when It asked for authorization I selected authorize my computer without ID loaded the book and then loaded my other books that required me to log into my account which I did and yesterday when I tried opening this book it told me I cant I took of the authorization and authorized it again by the use of computer without an ID with no luck.  Please advise on this as to how one can get access to it.[Moved from the non-technical Lounge Forum to the specific Program forum... I am running Mac OS X 10.11.6.  I was using DE 1.7 until Overdrive's update seemed to force me to upgrade to ADE 4.5.Since that point, every ACSM gets the same error "E_ACT_NOT_READY".I tried to erase authorization, but I get the same error that it failed and please try again later.  Very polite, that.  Authorize is grayed out and authorization information does show that my account is linked.  Adobe.com login shows that the account is correct.Finally, I found the solution of deleting the activation.dat file but inside of my USERS/LIBRARY/APPLICATIONSUPPORT/ADOBE and there is no DigitalEditions folder at all.  Much less, .dat to delete.I removed all traces of Digital Editions (app and folder deleted, all shortcuts gone gone gone).  Downloaded and reinstalled and still the same errors.Any new ideas?

Hi everyone.I have 2 Adobe accounts, by a mistake, i changed my PC time ago and started a new account. So now i have two accounts with many books on it, but separated.Need to know how to fuse it, i want to use only a single authorization in the Software so in my ebook.Thanks for the help.

I set up an Adobe ID installed ADE, then ordered a couple of books from Kobo.com. I thought they would automatically appear in ADE but they haven't. What have I got wrong? I'm using Windows 10 and want to send the books to a Nook. The Nook and the computer are both authorised.
